That's a good question. Dealing with Altcoins is a very good way to invest. You can start with any amount of your choice depending on how your pocket is. As for me i started with just 700 us dollar. And gradually I'm smiling cos my money keep growing.
If your thinking on investing here in crypto then you should start with small money or money that you think you can afford to lose. I think $500-$1000 is okay to start or investing. And make sure before investing in crypto or in altcoins, make a small research about the coin you will buy, make a wise decision before buying that coin. For sure your $500-$1000 will be triple or quadruple.

1 Bitcoin seems too little with a trader atm when the price of every tokens or altcoins are really too high right now. If you only have 1 Bitcoin you'll buy less and earn lesser.I think the fit amount should be at least 3-5 BTC, with that amount you can split it into many investment and it means you'll have many income source instead of investing in only 1 thing.
