I bought a $114 1000w PSU http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003J89V0A/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I can only run it at 1400mhz safely right now, I need to get a 1300w PSU and that is gonna set me back around $250. I am going to order one tomorrow.


So 2.5 BTC for the unit plus another $250 fiat total.

What 1000W power supply did you get? I think I will need to upgrade as well, I'm expecting my unit to get shipped out Monday. I'm not sure what or even if it has a PSU for that matter.

What did u pay? For everything?

For anyone interested I recieved my miner on Friday and after a little troubleshooting ca now say I am successfully hashing away at 200ghs. I am only using a 1000w PSU at the moment and have another better one on order to bump up the ghs a little more and max it out. I have to say the hardest part was getting the PSU correctly wired up!

Yes QC will be heaviley invested, all our components will be bought from digikey from now on, and a far more robust PCB then the previous one.
Watercooling will be an option aswell.

We shipped out everyones yesterday, because of the chinese new year all factories in china has been under heavy pressure. But we finally delivered . Will update with tracking # today to all customers whom it may concern.

We have assesed that our units needs a more robust PCB and we are going to upgrade into watercooling system so that units are able to hash at higher frequencies, we are also considering aluminum case for better cooling.

With thermal paste you are able to hash better then the current units we shipped with silicon rubber. That is tested and confirmed.

Wow I am on this one. Got to go hustle to get more coin. Would live an update.

There are the 1 week old design files of reference design for anyone to clone them as many as they like... haha let the Games Begin after CNY.
That monster of thing is ment to be put in Datacenter and it's far from silent.... $$$ / Hashpower delivered now... it's only point.
Those fans need some RPM to cool that long tube.

That new design of Blade has 70 chips so it's close to 100 gh/s... you only need 12 of those boards to hit 1.2TH/s

Nice - the new design looks far cleaner and hopefully more robust.  I might actually get one.

I quess they are planning to go with this Avalon2 unit next.

yes, 1.2th avalon? what psu? or can i couple 2? i remember reading its not possible because if one powers off, it might shourtcut the power to ground meanwhile the other psu is running. and thus breaking the unit..

So I figured out that I needed to stop and start cgminer rather than restart it. That cleared up the Connection refused issue.

I have updated the firmware as well. Now I can see my pool on the stats page, but it is still not mining.

Just got my unit today. I got it plugged in a working but I am getting errors. If I try to run the cgminer through the OpenWRT interface after inputing my settings the cgminer API LOG tells me : Socket connect failed: Connection refused
If I ssh in and cgminer restart it tells me:

Please help.

Any guidance on power supply?  I do wish to overclock--so I need 1300watt...  But, looking to form factor (ATX?), connectors (PCIe?) and voltage/amperage reqs.      I've found an affordable supply of 1300w PS's... but don't know if they will work for this machine.

For those of you that have already received your machine(s)...  What are you using?
