Its thoroughly relies upon the couple.Because the vast majority of the general population don't know about the Bitcoin. If the couple are known about Bitcoin and how to utilize it ,at that point you can give it as a wedding gift.It is truly a decent and interesting idea.On the other hand in the event that they don't know about Bitcoin, then it will move toward becoming foolishness. However Bitcoin as a gift is more valuable than the others.

This is a great idea and I think that bitcoin will become the most desired gift among the many newlyweds. This is a wonderful gift that does not depreciate, but on the contrary will bring profit in the future.
Yeah, it’s a good idea to give bit coin as a wedding gift to anyone as it will be to most unique gift to someone that will not lose its worth with the passage of time rather will give some profit to its owner. It can help the newly wed couples in the hour of need, they can save it for the time being and can sell out when needed.

It is a good idea but don’t you think it will be very expensive to gift it LOL. No doubt it is the best thing that we can give to a new life making couple because if they will get bitcoin even without struggle at the very beginning of new life then they will get a very relaxed life till the end so it is said by my mom! According me as well it is good to provide something good for their life and they will be able to buy something they need of their own choice instead of having an unwanted gift.

Yes, it has to be the great gift. However, the bride and groom must have interest in Bitcoin and know how to use it. If they don't know anything about Bitcoin, it will be trash. On the contrary, If the bride and groom are Bitcoiners, for sure that it will be the best gift ever.

When the newly wed couple have no idea about bitcoin, that is the best part checking their reactions when you introduce bitcoin to them and how the price of bitcoin is going on. and that bitcoin is really a good investment to have.

But, and expensive gift. $ 4500 as a gift? Good cash register I wish I was getting married at BTC costing a few dollars.

If the newly wed couple use bitcoin too yes, why not. I think bitcoin can be a precious gift not only for a newly wed but also for a birthday celebrant. No one will refuse if you send 1 BTC as your gift (lol). By the way they can exchange it to their local currency. They can also invest it, or just save and wait to increase its value.

I had planned to marry and I would give a bitcoin gift to my wife, but this was delayed, because my lover had chosen someone other than me, so for now it was just my dream. Sad

Bitcoin as a wedding gift, sound's pretty fun.
My answer to this is Why not!!.
Off course we can gift bitcoin as a wedding gift,it's better than gifting gold or cash or some worthless thing.
Because bitcoin can be invested and it's value is increasing day by day.
I personally would like a couple of bitcoins on my wedding/birthday as a gift from my relatives and friends.

People are still unaware of the power of bitcoin . that's why they would not understand the value of it. I will not give anyone bitcoin as a weeding gift . but yes I would like to get bitcoin as my weeding gift  Grin

We actually have the same thinking.  I would love to have a bitcoin as a gift but I would not give it to anyone as a wedding gift.  It is so precious to me.  Considering the fact that only few people knows about it here in my country, I doubt if my friends or relatives knew about bitcoin.  So it would be a waste if I will give it as a gift.

Given bitcoin as a wedding gift is very nice idea only if the receiver is also in into crypto currency and know the value therein. But for me to give my bitcoin to someone as a wedding gift, such person must be dear to me, because I so much value my bitcoin.

I also think that this is a wonderful wedding gift. For example, I would be very happy to receive such a gift for my wedding. But you need to keep in mind that this is a very specific thing and not everyone will appreciate it. Many people know nothing about bitcoin so they need to be prepared and you have to tell them what a crypto currency is before giving Bitcoin as a gift.

Let's put it this way. I would be thrilled if someone gave bitcoin to us when we wed 3 years ago Smiley I would however think twice before giving it to someone as wedding gift. Probably only is I know that at least one of newly weds is into crypto currencies.
