It is a good idea but don’t you think it will be very expensive to gift it LOL. No doubt it is the best thing that we can give to a new life making couple because if they will get bitcoin even without struggle at the very beginning of new life then they will get a very relaxed life till the end so it is said by my mom! If the newly wed couple use bitcoin too yes, why not. I think bitcoin can be a precious gift not only for a newly wed but also for a birthday celebrant. People are still unaware of the power of bitcoin . that's why they would not understand the value of it. I will not give anyone bitcoin as a weeding gift . but yes I would like to get bitcoin as my weeding gift 
We actually have the same thinking. I would love to have a bitcoin as a gift but I would not give it to anyone as a wedding gift. It is so precious to me. Considering the fact that only few people knows about it here in my country, I doubt if my friends or relatives knew about bitcoin. So it would be a waste if I will give it as a gift.
