if you talkinng give bitcoin as wedding gift in this time maybe people will call you weird because not everyone know bitcoin and not everyone like bitcoin, but it will be different if you talking about future day. maye bitcoin will become trend as wedding gift. because it will more valueable than gold
BTC is the best gift for present situation. I would like to get BTC as my wedding gift. As like as I would like to give BTC as a wedding present.

I will ask you to be my grandparent when my boyfriend asked me to marry him. Lol. I would love to receive bitcoin as a wedding gift. It would be so precious to me and that would be the most memorable gift I have for sure.

Only if I know they will appreciate it. You could go on and on about the merits and potential of Bitcoin and skeptics will always find a way to spoil it -- for themselves in this case.
Also, shouldn't you be gifting something the recipient something they would actually want anyway? I would prioritize gifts from their registry if they have one. I could be sure they would appreciate that, at least.

That would be the best surprise just think that they dont know what it is what it is all about and they will be curious about it so they will do a little research about it and they will be surprise how big is the value of that coin! Well if my friend knows bitcoin then there's no problem with that but if he didn't know bitcoin then I just give them money or gift. I want to give them something useful that can help them starting and building their life.

Maybe if my friend is also a bitcoin user, but if they do not, of course I will not. But I think bitcoin is a good gift for weddings because it is decentralized and they can use it to travel the world more easily, like some new couples do.
Dude , I don't prefer to give Bitcoins to my friends on friendship day , forget friendship day , I don't give it to them on even their birthdays so I won't even think of giving Bitcoins to someone on their wedding. If I see the price of Bitcoin to rise alot after I gift them , then that would make me regret alot . So it's better to give them something which would help them is household or even giving gold is not a problem but just not Bitcoin xD.

I want to do it if couple recognizes bitcoin and unfortunately where i live, younger generation who are ready to marry not yet understand about bitcoin specifically. They just heard about exchange rate and aren't willing to learn how to earn bitcoin. So this becomes an obstacle for me to make bitcoin as a wedding gift. Whereas, if it could be done, it would probably be the coolest gift.
I think it wouldn't be a problem after all if you give bitcoin as gift to their wedding pal. even they're not yet ready to understand it, of course you will guide to keep and hold em. Because when time comes when become a world currency then they stored it into their wallets they will realize and remember that you gave them a bitcoin. Then they will be thankful to you in the end for sure. 
Bitcoin as a wedding gift is definitely one of the best gift newly weds can have. They can use it as a family trust fund which will be a great trust fund because it accumulates in price but I don't think I'll be giving bitcoin as a gift especially if the people are not interested on it or does not even know a thing about it. And that's the reality, not many people know about bitcoin but if those newly weds that I will be giving bitcoin as gift is interested with it then why not.
I would like to get a bitcoin for my wedding as a gift and I think that others would also appreciate such a valuable gift that in time can bring more and profit.
I voted yes because its what I will do for a couple who I know is open minded in that even though he does not know about bitcoin now, it does not mean he wouldn't in the future and when that happens the say 0.01btc I am giving him today would have worth more in 5 years if that's how long it will take him to understand the importance of what I have just given him as gift.
Me and my husband are very interested in bitcoin and things about it. I would rather chose to get bitcoin as a present for our marriage 6,5 months ago than to present it to somebody, especially to those who don't have any interest to this currency (our firings are like that for example).

People who are not into bitcoin might not appreciate getting a volatile currency as a gift, and might never use it, thus adding it to the list of lost coins, but I think people who are already using bitcoin or would most probably use it in future then bitcoin instead of cash is the apt wedding gift for them.

I think its a good idea but then considering that the couples who aren't that familiar with Bitcoins they might get confused and won't appreciate it. But then I guess if I will buy something from what I have earned from here, they will surely appreciate it.
It will depend if my wife do/does know about Bitcoin. for me I'll just make Bitcoin as a investment for our child and for the future of us *My future family*

No never I am not agree with this individually, because in my country one bitcoin worth more than 500000. So it will be stupidity for the people like me with a low income to give bitcoin in a wedding gift. Although if some people have a lot of money and wants to give bitcoin as a wedding gift then there will be no problem, but I think the wedding couple will be more happy with the cash instead of digital currency.
