I believe they will also interested and invest in bitcoin when they know that i already invest. Bitcoin is for their future and to their children someday. I give bitcoin because bitcoin become most familiar,popular and have a future, it become a currency in all country.

Why bitcoin? I think bitcoin as a wedding gift is not a good idea because if the one who is receiving the gift is not interested in bitcoin i think it will just go to waste if you give a bitcoin, do you think it can help him? there's a lot of things to gift as a wedding gift besides bitcoin you can give money so they can use it in their financial needs or just give things that can help them.

Good idea.
But of course someone who will be rewarded with bitcoin also has access to it. Do not be a waste that can not be utilized.

Interesting question.  I wouldn't only because:
1. My friends and family are not involved in cryptocurrency;
2. I'm afraid they would lose it;
3. It would seem weird giving someone .045 BTC as a wedding gift because of the decimal placement.

There's a lot of wedding gifts that we can give to our friends.
I think giving them bitcoin as gift is not a good idea, I'd rather give them material things that they can use for starting a family. I treat bitcoin as cash and I don't give cash. I want something that if they see that thing they will remember me. And if i'll give cash I'm not sure where they'll use it especially when they're into gambling.

Yes ,,, if our friend the same understand what bitcoin is and understand how to use bitcoin. Seems to be a rare gift in the wedding

But if our friend does not understand what bitcoin is and how to use it, it seems like it would be useless to give it.

Yeah , agree with you
If your friend does not know what is bitcoin and how to use it, so that,s gift is not  useful for him or her. So gift bitcoin as a person who know what is bitcoin. I have a little idea about bitcoin. But unfortunately i can,t gift anyone .Because i have a little .When i have a huge number of bitcoin i must gift my best friend.

We already have people giving away vouchers as wedding gift, why should BTC be viewed differently? Anyway to answer the question, personally I wouldn't unless Bitcoin is considered as mainstream by then.

If you give 1 bitcoin for the newly wed couple and the groom is secretly been gambling to primedice already - for sure the groom will say that it is just nothing and then secretly use it to gamble after their honeymoon Cheesy

I've given BTC as a wedding gift multiple times.

I print out a paper wallet and provide instructions on how to redeem the private key including which apps to download etc.

I don't really care whether or not the bride/groom become "Bitcoiners" - I just think of it as a cool gift that beats the hell out of a blender or some silverware.

At this moment, to use Bitcoin is essential to know PC really well, so many information you have to know to use BTC.
So, right now.. not everybody can use it. It seems like bitcoin is something strange.
But when bitcoin will accept every shop in the country. It will be as simple gift as fiat money.

Bitcoin is really getting its popularity to many people already and it is just a matter of time that majority of the whole population will have a bitcoin address and have some bitcoins on it. We can already use bitcoin in so many ways and the rest can just be use with ordinary fiat money.

This is a very unique idea and also new I heard. Just imagine when a bride gets bitcoin then they will surely find that confusing. Maybe that does not apply to those who already know bitcoin, but still people who know bitcoin also would be surprised and did not think with the prize he got.

For those who know bitcoin, it would be a surprised to the married couple to receive it as a gift.  And it can be the most valuable gift that that couple will received since they know the value of bitcoin.  So I guess it would be better to give it to those who knew bitcoin.  Anyways, it would also be a surprised to a couple who has no knowledge that a digital currency exist.  It would a good way to promote bitcoin.

Some tech-savvy wedding-goers are gifting the digital currency to new couples. Honeyfund, a honeymoon registry that allows guests to give cash rather than gifts, has seen more than a dozen customers donate in bitcoin, said chief executive officer and co-founder Sara Margulis. In recent years, more than a dozen customers have chosen to route donations to the site from bitcoin wallets. Zola, a wedding registry website, has had just two cash funds created for bitcoins since 2013, a spokeswoman said. "I would expect it to pop more as millennials come into the wedding age,” Honeyfund’s Margulis said. “It’s something you will do if your friends and family are already into bitcoin.

Bitcoin as an retirement plan, bitcoin to secure the future of your kids, and now bitcoin as a wedding gift. Whether or not bitcoin replaces cash in future, it looks like the trend of gifting bitcoin instead of cash at weddings is definitely going to catch up and more wedding registeries would be adding bitcoin as a gifting option.

Avoid using a wedding gift "as an opportunity to proselytize a technology you personally believe in, but the recipient could not care less about."

People who are not into bitcoin might not appreciate getting a volatile currency as a gift, and might never use it, thus adding it to the list of lost coins, but I think people who are already using bitcoin or would most probably use it in future then bitcoin instead of cash is the apt wedding gift for them.

Yes, It is..
Bitcoin is one of the most valuable gift you could ever give. In fact common gift values ranging $50 to $100 and a Bitcoin as a gift really put bright smiles to the couples. Instead of giving them heavy bulky item, you wouldn't know what they really need, maybe an new bank account or New house downpayment to move-in or anything more important stuff to have as a start as a family.
Bitcoin is indeed a good gift not only for wedding.

i don't want to give 1 bitcoin as wedding gift but maybe some amount like 0.01 btc-0.05 btc as a gift  Grin because its too expensive for that couple. if bitcoin price is like 2015 then maybe i will considering to give them 1 bitcoin. the other option for is i will use that amount to buy something as a gift.

             This idea is so fond, but i guess when time passes by it would be more important than any other gifts. I think it would also be a nice  gift not only for wedding, for birthdays or even to successors. This also gives me some ridiculous ideas, and i could also think that it is a nice treasure you can give to someone special in your life.

For me it would depend on whether the couple already knows about bitcoin or not because I won't turn their wedding gift into a lecture about the value of bitcoin.
Exactly it would not make sense if one of them didnt know what bitcoin is. Maybe if they knew it that was a good idea of a wedding gift because it will help them to especially to their financial needs.

For a bitcoin wedding gift for now is rather difficult, especially in my area that is still difficult to reach the internet network, but didn't rule out a time if bitcoin already known to the public and familiar to its use, seems can be provide a gift of bitcoin marriage.  Grin

With the places where there is really hard time obtaining internet, I think bitcoin gift is not an ideal gift because they really cannot use it and could not well appreciate it due to no access to internet. Better give some physical alternative gift than bitcoin then.
