Logically no, that's a foolish way to test someone's faith lol. I am a religious person from a religious Catholic country if that happens I would start thinking about the credibility of the God who sent that command because obviously I might be being deceived by a certain entity or the worst -a secret technology for manipulation.

No, for i know that God won't command me to do something outrageous like that, it will contradict his commandment where he said that Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, why would you kill a children when you're commanded to love them.

i believe that no one has ever seen GOD even priest or pastors,thats why if someone will tell you that way i dont believe it but if god will be the one to tell me and i see him in my two eyes then thats the time that i will believe of coures i will sacrifice my children as he commanded me.A perfectly valid legit question.

I mean it is a plain crime in the world to kill a soul, law wouldn't even spare you.

if I live in the time of the prophet and I am one of them then I will definitely do it. because the command of God is absolute and the prophet will surely do his command.
in this time I do not think there could be any such command since the prophetic era is over.

I don't think God will ask a parent to do that to his/her child. It is not a question of belief or faithfulness to God, I just can't see that this will happen. Having a child is one of the greatest feeling that a parent can have. Taking the life out of a child will not make any sense. I keep asking my self why would God even ask someone to do something horrible. Maybe its someone pretending to be God, its Satan. God is in all of us and he will never make anyone do something horrible to his/her child. A perfectly valid legit question.

Frankly speaking, even if God commanded me to kill my own children, I will not do it. I love my children. I gave everything to them. I knew this story of Abraham that God asked Him to kill his own son, but sorry, I'm not that kind of person. I will gladly take the punishment for not obeying Him but, I will not kill my own child.
God will never ask you to kill your children because there is no god. And if the god ask you to kill your child, then why should you obey him? You don't need to worship someone who urges you to kill your kids. It is not about faith and punishment, but about common sense. For me, my kids are more precious than anything in this world. I hope your kids are also like that for you.

oh jes, people sacrifice their children or burns them for good reasons, children arent supposed to be unused burden that has to be made happy and feeded up
they were historically economic sources, and always considered this way, this is why rulers banned gayness, and made the myth of many children important.
