I'm still pleasantly surprised that he actually DID pay me back with the amount of people that are not able to elicit a response from him.

While I do not question his honesty/integrity his SPEED in replying to you is simply horrid, seems like the guy is ALWAYS on vacation. (I'll admit I am slightly envious..)

I won't touch this again with a 10 ft. pole.

You have been warned.

I don't have a clue, site looked legit and I had seen some positive reviews...

until that site gets taken down, this will keep happening.

I would absolutely not do business with this man. I'm currently hoping he is incompetent. I think a Mod should flag the title or something. I would not recommend a scammer tag yet.

how about now?

Here's my experience with the service:

On 4/17 I filled in the form; I wanted to exchange some bitcoins for a prepaid card. I got a reply saying send the bitcoins to a specific address and I'd get the card number within 24 hours. I sent the coins.

On the 20th I sent an email asking if there was something wrong. I got a reply from the website operator saying that he was travelling and would send me the card as soon as he made a stop somewhere that sold one. I replied and said I'd appreciate it if he could send it as soon as possible.

On the 25th I sent an email asking him if he could refund the bitcoins if he couldn't get me a card within the next few days.

No reply so far.

I'll post a follow-up here if I get the card or a refund.

Well, currently, the rate of the cut you took from me is 100%. That's a steal, alright.

Anyone considering using this exchange should take the time to read through this thread and see how many complaints there are. I'll add my voice to the mix of the disenfranchised. I've been waiting on an exchange that was supposed to take less than 24hrs for about five days now. Everyday, he'll take care of it by the end of the day, and yet each day goes by with things unresolved. If I give OP the benefit of the doubt, he's at best a mediocre businessman. The longer this drags on, the more selective scammer comes to mind.

I'll update if anything changes, but I'll avoid this 'exchange' like the plague henceforth.

Anyone with a pending transaction is entitled to a refund and it is being processed. Please contact me via PM for expedited  service.

I was unavailable earlier this month to process transactions, and have spent today issuing refunds to those who send me funds while I was away.

I have sent PM's to those people in this thread who have sent me their BTC. Rest assured, I still have them and as soon as you contact me with an updated BTC address I will send them right back to you.

I want to talk to you before I refund your coins just in case you are using a different wallet.

On another front in order to stay competitive and in order to better serve the community we are slashing our exchange rates: Prices are the same right now for buying and selling.

Buying or Selling Exchange Rate
$0 - $499 - 6% - $5 minimum
$500 - $999 - 5%
$1000+ - 4 %

Once again if you sent us funds while we were away or are awaiting BTC, contact me via PM or email immediately to get your funds.

It's okay, it was 12 BTC well spent to learn not to trust ANYONE.

Still hurts though, I have to start from scratch -__-

Doubt thats going to happen. The op is gone, his phone number now is a different company. Also pretty sure he used a false name. Claimed to be living in Costa Rica.

well, when the transactions were sent and being received through western union and before that, paypal, this is not a case of being anonymous.  there may not be any recourse where money for refunds is found but there are plenty of leads that law enforcement can follow.
