95% of everything we know related to blockchain, token and incentive to invest is linked to the ethereum network, so forget everything about bitcoin, ltc, xrp, eos and others cause the first step was taken and as we can see, the people investing or have invested in the ethereum network are not idiots. of course Ethereum is better than XRP, not XRP better than Ethereum, in ethereum platform make developer can write their smart contract in Ethereum Blockchain for create Dapps, so XRP just used for banking and payment gateway, Ethereum can handle the both XRP is a fake cryptocurrency. It just uses the blockchain, but it is a concentrated coin. It is not as good as Ethereum. Ethereum is the king of ICO for cryptocurrency. Now it is only a difficult problem. In the future, it will definitely Beyond XRP.
Ethereum may have its flaws and anyone that has read about ethereum probably knows them but when I compare XRP and ethereum there is no contest, ethereum is by far the best coin and while it is suffering a lot this will not last and many will regret selling their ethereum too soon.

No way! Ripple is for a short term period. I do not expect this centralized coin to surpass ethereum in volume specially, most of people are thinking a hype in this coin only. Ethereum has a package, it just waiting the development and news coming from the other side which is bitcoin. When most of altcoins made in ethereum will regulate, assume that ethereum arrive also.
I also saw the development of the XRP sales volume that was so fantastic that it was able to rise to the position of 2 crypto coins at this time. XRP does have potential and deserves it, but it doesn't mean ETH is worse. this is the desire of the users and the market today, everything can change in the future including the top position, namely shifting BTC
Being the the fact that XRP has taken higher position ahead of ETH in the coinmarketcap don't mean that is better than ETH because ETH has been using for different project.
It is impossible to draw such conclusions only due to the fact that the ripple and the ether changed places in the rating. These are fundamentally different projects and they have different goals. So I think that these are two promising projects that will definitely bring me profit in the future.
It is just about the rankings in the coinmarketcap due to many supply of XRP.

If the capitalization of XRP is greater than ETH, this does not mean that it is better.
It certainly is a better scam. XRP is not a cryptocoin, you can never own it, it will always belong to Ripple INC.
Same as a casino chip/token/jeton/coin always belongs to the casino. You may take it home or whatever but it still belongs to the casion/Ripple.

Well, they are targeting slightly different markets, but market cap is quantifiable - so I don't see a problem with comparing them.I think Ripple has a brighter future in terms of price simply because of the lack of ICO-s that can dump its price further.
But I prefer the technology and community behind ETH.

This is an ignorant question. You should study instead of consulting here. I tell you that you will believe it? Now I think they are not good, they are not the best coins in the future. Other coins will surpass them.
Although the ripple succeeded in shifting the ethereum position of the coinmarket, the ability to generate profits for the holder was still superior to ethereum. The ripple defense on the crypto market is quite good and reliable, but for the development of its value and technology, it is still very slow. So that it is less attractive to the community. XRP and ETH are created with different functions and purpose. In market capitalization term, XRP has overtake ETH for quite along time, they are now the best of altcoins. XRP will not stand at currenct position too long, ETH will take it back soon.
in my opinion XRP rose to the second position in the market because the ETH was weakening and had a very drastic decline, but on the one hand it was also because the XRP had strengthened, but no one knew whether the situation would last in the long term or not, maybe if later ETH will experience a price increase, the XRP position will be replaced by ETH again, but that will not necessarily happen because the market recovery will not necessarily happen.
I think we need to stop comparing both coin because they are both proven and tested that can give a huge return from our investment. I believe that investing in both eth and xrp is really a great strategy specially on this huge dip. I we are going to look on its price we can really have a big advantage on it today because of the huge dip do let us try buying both and and wait until it will fully rise and earn.

From my point of view, I don't consider XRP is better than ETH, yes no way to deny ETH has been lost its place to XRP but it doesn't mean ETH is not better than XRP. ETH still has enough potential and market demand among the investors so it is a matter of time to get back in the track again.
Asking if Xrp is better than ETH just because Xrp overtake ETH in rank is kind of funny to me.ETH is been affected so much by do much scam projects been run on its blochchain everytime.ETH is a coin that have been able to stand the test of time unlike Xrp.
No it's not just funny, it's also sad... That people know nothing, except what is marketcap, and number 1, but technology, no interest whatsoever. Bitcoin will prevail I think, because it has everything and is still developing.. But what do I care. I just care that I have something to eat. By standards, ETH is way better than XRP but what does Eth have that bitcoin doesn't? The truth that XRP is top 3 in there for marketcap, it's just because they can input how many coins they want.
