Wow what an enticing offer just to get vaccinated but it seems  Poland Citizens don't even seen interested. Just 35% of it's citizens have gotten the vaccine despite the attractive gambling offer given although not every one has interest in gambling but I feel this should be a mega jackpot for people in Poland to lay hold of.

Two things, they are not interested in what the government is offering or they don't want to get vaccinated at all, that's a very low turnout for a rich country that can afford to buy vaccines and even offer prizes just for its people to get vaccinated, besides giving prizes they should do awareness campaign about the virus and the vaccines to get more people interested to get vaccinated.

I think Poland isn't the only country who made such a plan to encourage people taking the vaccine.

Two notes :
- Why the prize pool is only limited to Pfizer vaccine? So if someone got another vaccine like moderna or spotnick he won't be eligible for win ?
- Isn't better for a poor country with only 35% of the population vaccinated to buy more vaccines and enforce the vaccination (many methods to do this) instead of calling the greed ?
No Poland isn't the first country to launch a lottery to encourage people to get vaccinated, we've already discussed about that here in other threads : many USA and Canada states and other countries have organized lotteries for vaccinated people with millions dollars of prizes.
Besides that I don't know where you are living but Poland is not a poor country at all, it's an european country and the twentieth richest country in the world.

I wonder why only Pfizer is this lottery being sponsored by Pfizer or the only available vaccine is the one coming from Pfizer, this is not good they should treat every vaccine equal they spend money on them and people should not choose what to inject on them all these vaccines have undergone clinical studies so they are all safe until proven not to be.

I will not think about the cash prize but the vaccine will be important to our body, so I will want to get the vaccine.
If I can get the cash for the prize, that will be a bonus for me and if I do not get the money, that will be okay.
Hopefully, those people should care about their health and will go to the hospital and get vaccinated.
The government needs to be concerned about the Pfizer supply and needs to order that vaccine to fill the need for people to get vaccinated.

This can only be done by countries that still have sufficient budget, imagine poor countries that even to get vaccines for their citizens are unable to compete with rich countries.
However, whatever the government does should be appreciated because they are trying to get their citizens interested in getting vaccinated.
The best thing is to educate their people how important getting a vaccine is, not pampering and bribing them to get the vaccine, anyway they have the money for the price and they are not lacking in the vaccine, even in vaccine inoculation there is a big discrepancy between the rich and the poor, the rich are being gifted while the poor are lining up.

Well just this i've heard a country has running a lottery which we can participated if we already got vaccinated. Most of people aren't aware about vaccine, they just scared about the side-effect after get vaccinated. 35% already got vaccine is a great news, while on my country there are only less than 20% got vaccinated.

This becomes a trend now in some countries now to attract more people to be vaccinated. It is a win-win situation, you lessen the threat of the virus to your body and have a chance to change your life if you win the lottery. It's just sad that some people are still afraid to get a vaccine because they are informed of false news, there may be some side effects that result for some people to die but these are only isolated cases. This often happen if you have other illness which often happens to older people who have a weaker immune system that can't fight the side effect. If your body is still working perfectly and not that old it is still better to get a vaccine because this will also benefit the people around us. You won't easily get the virus from someone if you are vaccinated.

Months before we heard a news where to increase the chances of people getting vaccinated they government gave them a chance to win prizes, lotteries and even in some countries you are allowed to travel for free. Yet again the Government of Poland announced quite an unusual prize for people who have gotten pifzer. You are eligible to participate in the lottery plus the prizes are up to 260,000$!!!! Which is a great news. But unfortunately only 35% of the people in Poland are vaccinated yet. Not only that read this :

From 1 July every 500th person to take the dose will receive a cash prize of PLN200, while every 2,000th person will receive PLN500. The Polish Government will be giving away five prizes of PLN50,000 every week for three months, alongside the incentive each month to receive PLN100,000 and a Toyota Corolla for two lucky winners. The final winners will scoop up the PLN1m and a Toyota CH-R each... If you were thinking of moving to Poland, then now’s your chance. And if you need an electric scooter, they’re flogging them too, 720 to be precise.

Now that's a gamble that you gotta try! If you are from Poland then you have to get the shot! I do think this is an interesting gamble for the people there what do you think ? ?

lol this is just a copy from what other country did previously and i Believe it is in Oklahoma if i am not mistaken that offers lottery wins for those who will be participating in vaccination .

But this is a good step still for the increasing demand from the government to stop this virus.

The question is will this stop on lotteries and gambling or do we anticipate that government will allow access to each and every facility only to those people who are vaccinated  Huh

I heard that in some part the government is giving tax relief to the people who got vaccinated. Soon vaccine will be made mandatory.

This is already happening in Pakistan and indirectly vaccine is mandatory if you want to buy a sim, go to wedding or cinema's.

Only vaccinated people will be allowed to enter wedding halls, cinemas: NCOC

Punjab govt decides to block SIM cards of people refusing vaccines
I'm not against vaccines, let's specify that. They have been very important in the history of medicine to eradicate various pathogens (smallpox, polio above all). But this anti-covid19 vaccination charade where experimental drugs (not vaccines) have been licensed on an emergency basis and will end clinical trials in 2023, I don't like it at all.
Vaccine blackmail doesn't appeal to me at all, and it undercuts something intriguingly suspicious. I do not belong to risk categories, I take all the necessary precautions (mask, hand disinfection, distance from others ...) but at the moment, even in agreement with my GP, the risk-benefit ratio in my case is not in favor of vaccination. And I honestly don't know what to do with a fricking lottery ticket, a pint of beer or a joint.

Polish people are lucky their government is giving cash prizes for their citizens just to get the vaccine, while we here in our country people are lining up to get a vaccine because of lack and short supply, I don't think why they offer this kind of incentives at all, this is the only way to get saves from this virus, why people are still hesitant to get a vaccine when it's their only way of survival now that the virus is mutating.

It's a rather good idea imho. Granted that we all need to get vaccinated, the idea of lottery when vaccinated gives them the push to do it sooner than later. It doesn't really affect them in anyway after all, since early or late, it wouldn't really matter. It's an incentive so to speak, and a welcome one if I must say.

Should be. Though it's still long in the future imo, since afaik there are still variants of the virus right? Though vaccines also work to some percentage with the variants, it isn't 100% from what I know, not to mention the issue of supply of the vaccine. Though it's basically a guarantee given time.

That's really a great way to encourage people to get vaccinated, we all know that some people doesn't want to have a vaccine for different opinion and perspective but in order to minimize the spread of virus the vaccine should be injected to the community in this way people will be interested on getting vaccinated since they would first have an immunity or protect from virus and the second thing is that they would be able to win the lottery.
They can offer everything but the main objective here is the offering of government to help killing the Virus and to make their countries back to normal .
and this act as bribe just to make the project moving and goes to success .

Every countries have their own ways to encourage the public to get vaccinated, here in my place House and Lot will be the reward on the lucky draw and whatever vaccine you have you are qualified to participate. That option should not only be limited to Pfizer because a lot of good brands are also out in the market, we’re doing this to achieve the herd immunity target to get things back to normal.
But only few are offering this kind of event , imagine someone will become Richer just because he wants to be vaccinated and this is for their own goodness .

Personally, I find this attractive. Others may disagree, of course, but if this is what it takes for the population to get immunized from the virus, then it is no expensive price to pay. You know, it's just one way to encourage or entice people to get the vaccine as early as possible.

However, as Poland is certainly not the only country to have thought of this, there was a study in the United States that says the $5 million Ohio vaccine lottery didn't actually help increase the vaccination rate.[1] So I guess countries should begin looking into this pattern of giving away money and some stuff just to attract people to get the vaccine. Perhaps they could put the money to better use if proven that it doesn't help at all.

Well really, --is this true?
May I know where is your place to join and perhaps I will win the reward.
However, this is not new at all and each government will always find ways to encourage their people to be fully vaccinated. Here is my place there is no need for a reward, people are very hurrying to be vaccinated and every day people have a full inline in the vaccination center, they are very aggressive to be able their bodies immune to the virus. Well, good luck with the big prize waiting.
