Like many others I have been scammed by cryptorush.in and lost a considerable balance of Zeit coin. I am tiered of all these bitcoin / altcoin scams and I will not let this one go. I do not care about the flaw in the wallet, in my opinion the only responsible is cryptorush. I sent my bitcoins to them and they should be responsible for this.

Despite their public statement and their terms and conditions on their website they are still running an online business and there are laws and regulations that protect users and consumers against abuse and fraud.

We have made a preliminary due diligence and found the following:

1. The owner of the website is believed to be Patrick Austin, residing in Sloe Lane, Crundale, Kent, Great Britain. This could be a registrar name - but a legal action would easily disclose the real name
2. At least one of the employees, called Robert Keith Christopher Jr is residing in Lake City, Florida, USA
3. The fraud involves at least 2 billion Zeit coins which at current market rate means 60 BTC or almost USD 40,000

I Invite all users who suffered damage from cryptorush to:

1. send an e-mail to: [email protected] with your contact details, proof of damage ( print screen, transaction history, etc ).

2. File an official complaint for fraud to:
- FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
- UK Police Internet Crime Unit: http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud

What actions we are willing to take:

1. File an official complaint signed by all users who suffered damage from cryptorush to FBI, UK Police ( internet crime units ) and tax authorities in both countries ( IRS and HMRC )for fraud and running a business without any registration or license
2. File an official complaint to the hosting provider
3. Take legal actions against Patrick Austin and Robert Keith Christopher Jr both in UK and US. If none of them is the real owner of cryptorush they will be forced to reveal his identity
4. After correctly identifying the owners of the website, sue them and ask for compensation against suffered loss at the maximum price Zeit coin had since the incidend which was 0.00000005 BTC, but could be more in next days

Anyone who want to support this action and make a stand in stopping cryptocurrency related frauds can make a donation at the following addresses:Lost several million Zeitcoin please help

BTC=>1NtuWFH9jqp1TEhee7K76VjiUajnNQoGnF
Zeit=>MrzBQvNDvmJpEKHNnCBPvEgNHmrNV4JbYD

Good luck. I won't sign it or donate to it because nothing will happen. It was shocking anyone even did anything about MTGox. You think a couple thousands worth of digital data that the governments still won't consider a currency will actually get any attention when it hasn't broken any law?

As upsetting as it is (I also lost ZEIT on one of my 3 CR accounts, and a lot more than what most lost) I've hung in there, and now I'm randomly helping what I can with development, because I have faith in the coin itself.

What is happening with this coin - i have 20 million i have been holding - and all i have seen is the price drop lower and lower...

now at 1 satoshi on Mintpal? i bought into the mission for the coin, i actively read this thread... what am i missing to reinstall my confidence?

It's all a scam.  first they stole our Zeit on the exchanges, and then they robbed the wallets on the online wallet.

It's the developer and/or friends who are dumping our wallets to fast convert into BTC

Seems unlikely.  I'm quite the coin-n00b and Zeitcoin is one of many I have been mining.  However, I'm not a n00b to EARTH, where money is money and should be kept somewhere secure.  Which means, either a bank or wallet.  When I leave money in an exchange, such as E-Trade, there are no safety guarantees.  When one leaves "money" in a lesser-known exchange, such as a cryptocurrency exchange, I think they're just asking for issues.

The lack of intelligence is astounding.

Have you lived an isolated life in a cardboard box for the past 15 years?
The lack of intelligence shown here is pretty much par for the course!
Ignorance is bliss as it's always someone else's fault!

This coin is a scam.

I was robbed 15 million on the online Zeitcoin wallet, no email warning and only a two day period to withdraw.

This is theft, plain and simple.

You mean the online wallet that had nothing to do with the team, that had actually a two week period to withdrawl, and many did. Only a very small few did from what I've see in complaints.

But hey, blame the coin. Because that's the easy way to do it right?

The lack of intelligence is astounding.

This was discussed a few pages back, I've made winevirus & zeitcoin aware & requested an update on whether this is 'normal' or not.

it is normal, you are not losing any coin-age, subsequent blocks will include all txo that meet the minimum coin-age requirement

Whilst I can't say with 'confidence' what Anon's saying is accurate, it does make logical sense.

As for the forum issue, We do need another thread(s) for project discussion, even the one man movement (aka Anonymousg64) will need some assistance in some form Wink (sorry dude, just making fun of how we seem to be opposed all the time... I do respect you though).

I'll look to start posting on forumco.in, perhaps we can shift some of our 'activists' across to these supporting forums so we can work on some stuff together without interferring with the profit discussions.
Someone remind me 2moro, just got home from the pub... no point trying to think or remember anything now Wink

EDIT: STOP BUYING @ 2satoshi for another hour please, would like price at 1 when midnight hits.56mins from now. Thankies Wink

We already have a couple unofficial forums not being used.
I don't know why we haven't transitioned somewhere else other than bitcointalk.
Maybe it's time we create an official space for the community.
But I suppose this is something we can decide in the coming week or so.

Also, logo/graphics people, keep coming with those new coin logo ideas. I'm enjoying the contribution.  Smiley

I was talking about a official forum. Hosted on an a vserver. Nothing like this above...

Greets,
Ray

Our Dev did say this was being worked on. I have confidence that it will be opened to us when it's ready.

OK, thanx for info. Did not talk about that with him...

*Is yet again grateful for the 'ignore' button.*

It all sounds "Mummy, mummy, some big boys stole my sweets" to me. Sad

When we get our forum, we need an arsehole filter!
should it setup a forum? no problem...
