By the way, Steph Curry is expected to play on Sunday. He is surely missed by his followers. Hope no injuries for him this time.
I just read about this. I cannot blame him for wanting to play but the season is over for the Warriors and I prefer that he just rest and prepare for the next season to avoid further injuries. Kerr should just limit his minutes if the main reason to make Steph play is for fans entertainment.

Does NBA have a rule now against teams not letting their healthy players suit up for the game (i.e. load management)?
The desire to keep the fans entertained probably the reason why he will play on sunday, We know him for being loved by the fans and knowing that
he will be there to play will bring the DubNation once more cheer together, it's not a question of they still have the chance but to give back the
love for this game and for the benefits of all his loving fans, giving him quality minutes but not to force his injury is okay.

I like your optimistic view about the future of the Warriors and each of their fans is surely just waiting for the comeback of the healthy Warriors.

But as the season progress, there are lots of teams that always improved year by year. Warriors will be facing a new environment on the NBA once they come back healthy and I see that their Big 3 isn't enough. They need to acquire another good role player which I'm sure they are already working on that.
They will come back for sure. The season this time isn't for theirs and it's expected already with the roster change that they have plus the injuries that they had.

Compared to Bucks, it's an underrated team last year and many haven't seen the potential from that team. But now, they are one of the favorites because they have improved.

Next year will be a deciding year for them and expect many changes, shuffles, contracts, etc. on that team.

Others will leave but the original big 3 will stay, when Curry, Thompson, and Green plays together, they can beat any team in the NBA, warriors just needs to keep these 3, give them the best amount of salary and Warriors will once again a championship contender team as long as they are healthy.

I agree! I love their team chemistry specially when they made the best record in the regular season. That team line up was solid. It's just sad to see how the Warriors got devastated by injuries after injuries. If the Warrior team has been healthy all this time, the Western conference should've become a much competitive and entertaining to watch. Though both conferences so far this season is tightly competing for a playoff spot, except the Bucks who already clinched the playoffs early this season which is also very impressive performance from the Bucks team.

Actually I hated the Warriors when they add Durant in the line up, it seems like they still are not satisfied with their dominance in the NBA, they want to dominant more, but now that Durant is out, I like to see the old Warriors winning again and make the best record in the next season but this would be more competitive as we have other teams improving as well and the new improve teams lead by their respective MVPs are now a championship contender.

So what are your comment about lebron's recruiting some high caliber players to join his team and he repeatedly doing this wherever he landed so I think those addition is normal since of Durant on GSW is normal in the business and it's up to the organization on how they could defeat the strong line up before but now the game phase has been change since they have no durant, no iggy aswell no livingstone on their rooster, And I think we cannot see the old warriors rotation as before since as of now mostly the one existing on their roosters are young guns but still potential and maybe they can create impressive numbers when klay and steph will get back on the court.

I still do not understand why people think Ben Simmons is a start that makes so much difference to that team. Dude is a 16 point player with ZERO three point talent and just scores around the rim all the time, he has some rebounding and assist talents which I can understand why makes him more valuable but this dude was compared to Giannis when he first came into the league and was wondering which one would be the next Lebron.
Analysts taking it too far.
A pointguard against a forward with a height of a center. Is that really a pair to have a good comparison?
I don't think so.
Why does it have to be always about the three point shooting capability?
You could always hire players with that specialty but that doesn't mean everyone should have it.
This ain't a Rockets team.

he is not THAT big of a deal if you ask me.
Tell that after 2 more years.
Yes, it may not be now. But who knows? If they play harder this coming playoffs then it will blow all of those analysts minds.
They will suddenly talk about Simmons for a lot of time.  Cheesy

Is there a chance that Stephen Curry will leave the Golden State Warriors?
He's locked for Golden State Warriors for 5 years and I think the last time he's signed the contract was 2017. He's one to have the highest contract and I don't think that GSW will set him free even the contract expires.

He's like the Kobe24 of GSW.

Contract will expire in 2020 per https://www.spotrac.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/stephen-curry-6287/
A player that is given a max contract won't leave a team, unless there is a conflict inside the organization, and so far, I haven't heard anything like that.
Based on the link given, its not 2020 but 2020 2022 yet its a 5 year contract since 2017.

Dont hear about news on leaving the team and i dont see a reason on why he would do such thing.
Thanks for that verification that his contract is still until 2022. I really don't see that he's leaving and there's no point for a rumor like this.
Just because the GSW isn't doing well for this season? they can get some help again and reshuffle their roster if they have to.

I don't know that Simmons was being compared to Giannis during his first year although not a good comparison for me. Other people just putting too much hype on a new player, as usual, every year.

Me either, Simmons has to prove himself that he could carry a team to win, and maybe nominated to be a regular season MVP at least.
The way I see it, Simmons still needs some big improvement before he will be compared Giannis and basing on Giannis Improvement, its not impossible that Simmons would improve his 3 point shooting.

I still do not understand why people think Ben Simmons is a start that makes so much difference to that team.

Maybe because Sixers was a worst team prior to Embiid and Simmons's arrival. The team never taste a playoffs experience for 5 seasons until Simmons came to play (he didn't play on his first season because of injury). It's not that he is the reason why the team rose up but as usual, becoming a Top 1 overall pick always comes up with a good expectation and in fairness, he didn't fail to meet those and played well the whole season. From a trash record for several seasons, Sixers finished with a good record on that year.

Dude is a 16 point player with ZERO three point talent and just scores around the rim all the time, he has some rebounding and assist talents which I can understand why makes him more valuable...

Good thing for Simmons that he is not forcing himself into something he is not capable of. Although yes, in the future he really needs to work on his rainbow shot while he is still young as athleticism fades over time.

... but this dude was compared to Giannis when he first came into the league and was wondering which one would be the next Lebron.

I am not sure what is the rank of the Sixers in terms of 3 point shooting as a team, but I believe they are not in the top 10 as their offense is more focus on  the inside, if they only have Reddick, they could have been a big threat in the outside but Horford would not land to the sixers, it's really hard to choose but I believe they prefer to have this kind of play right now, besides they are doing pretty well at home.

Sixers are currently  somewhere in the middle, they have 35.2% for three, that makes them 18th out of 30 teams . When it comes to 3 pts attempts, with 31 attempt per game they are 22nd. When you look at their EFG % , they are average to below average team (52.9%, 19th spot ). For example, they are 23rd when it comes to FT (only 75%). They are among the best when it comes to defense and of course rebounding, due size of their lineup.
Thing that annoys me with Simmons is that he is obviously not willing to work on his shooting, as he didn't improve at all in those few years. How can player that plays his position have only 62% FT  this season? Hell, even Shaq who was ridiculed for that had 62% one year (with 52.7% career average).

Very interesting game tonight, Bucks coming to Toronto after that overtime win against Wizards last night. I am slightly leaning towards Raptors tonight, but it's hard to bet against Bucks when they play so good this season.

Amazing performance by Embiid on a win against the Hawks, the big fella scored 49 points along with 14 rebounds in this win.
So to those who are asking if the which player the management will pick between Him and Simmons, here's the answer.

I have still the same opinion.
They won't trade any of these two.

I think they are wise enough to make this guys to ripe and then after that they could take on a championship game.
They are almost there.
Simmons is also trying some new training circle and we are actually seeing that.
Embiid though is a different story. He is improving fast. He also tries to be serious now instead of being a clown which he did last year.

76ers management may already be aware of that.

Yes, I don't think the the management is willing to put anyone of them in the trading block.

If they can still deliver then why change the winning formula? Both are doing everything and trying to improved their games, maybe they are not the best in the league, still Lebron and Davis combination, but Ben and Joel are there in the top as well.

They had a great memorial for Kobe Bryant yesterday, I still can't believe that dude is gone, like not for a while, not retired type of gone, dude is gone forever, he is dead. There was a lot of tears, a lot of laughs and a lot of shared good memories. Kobe showed everyone how you can be so different as a player and as a human, he thought us to differenciate the athlete from the player, dude was hated as a player because he ruined so many teams chances in NBA and beat them constantly whereas he was loved as a human because he cherished basketball and was always willing to bring it to next level by supporting the new players outside of the court. I hope he and his lovely daughter Gigi will be in peace together.

Embiid also had a beast game, dude literally had a 49 point game as a center and in this era that "bigs are gone" type of talks happen and guards/wings getting all the attention I think it is cool to see that if you are a good center you can still score a lot and get the ball a lot as well. Jokic and Embiid is probably the last players reamining that can carry their teams as the centers, usually it is another position that is the star of the team (doesn't mean there aren't other good centers, they are just not their teams stars).

Giannis now has an MVP and leading the first seed as the best player whereas Simmons is not even the best player on his own team. Even if the dude misses the whole season I am sure Sixers would be fine, not saying they will go to finals or anything without him but they can achieve almost everything they could have achieved with him now, he is not THAT big of a deal if you ask me.

I agree they arent trading either of the two.  Simmons is one of the best on the ball point guards in the league.  Yeah he cant shoot a 3 for shit, so go out and surround the team with shooters then.  Not everyone on the team needs to be a deep threat.  Who are they honestly going to get to replace Simmons that makes the Sixers better.  Not much out there to be had.

It could happen.
Since Ben Simmons is already a threat to penetrate the paint then he will just need more threats outside.
Sharpshooters is a must. That way, Embiid could also focus on mid range shots and post ups.

But, we could see their roster in not filled with that yet. Korkmaz and Harris have the highest attempts and both are near 35%.
Harris though is like a switch in 3 points. On and off.

We can see that, what they just need now is a good chemistry, they all have the talent and they are still young therefore it's expected that they will improve. Sixers ain't no shitty team anymore, they have become a threat in the East and a good championship contender.
