I guess Kobe's wife has loss her love to basketball if there is because he loss her daughter and her husband in a tragic incident.
Maybe anything related to basketball, she will try to forget it so they can move on... I wonder who will get the award once time comes that Kobe will be honored again in the NBA. ... respect,, yes that is what they need as it's hard to move on with what happen.
They're in grieve, I hope they could pass that difficult time.
It will heal, but it will take time.
Hell! Even us are still affected by such loss.
How hard could it be for a mother grieving for her daughter and as a wife losing her husband.
That's just too much to handle and it was so sudden.

They all want peace. Maybe they could  find it with this kind of ways.  Cry

Here's some news about our Idol Kobe the Mamba.

Mamba Sports Academy To Remove "Mamba" From Its Name

Quote
Madelyn Burke: The Mamba Sports Academy is "Mamba" no more. The organization announced Tuesday it was retiring Mamba from the name and will be known as Sports Academy going forward. I'm joined now by SI NBA writer Rohan Nadkarni. Rohan, Sports Academy says the move is meant to be made with respect to the Mamba name. What do you make of this announcement?

was it a good move or not?

Just one way to move forward without the "Mamba" I guess. It was the family's wishes to removed it so they have to respect that. The official website did reflect the changes: https://sportsacademy.us/

As others have said, it will remain committed to help and guide future athletes in their training so it is a good move on their part.

I do respect the decision.
It is not about the name. It is about their motto which is going forward which Mamba also says a lot and believes in.
He will be remembered for that. The strength to keep on going even at the hardest time of his career.

Quote
Madelyn Burke: Now, the Academy, of course, added the nickname to its title in 2018 after Kobe Bryant and Sports Academy CEO Chad Faulkner joined forces. Sports Academy, though, says their mission remains unchanged. Rohan Nadkarni, thanks so much for the time.

Their mission is to make players reach their higher potentials and as said, it will not change.

Well, that's true, it's their decision but as long as the mission did not change, this academy is still good.
I was just surprise because some establishment would even name it to a popular person so they will be able to attract players, but this one did really change.

I think the last two would probably be the first championship of last threepeat off-season and second championship and the last years last games basically. That is all there is left with the pattern they are going.

Since the main focus was to discuss the road to 1997-98 season, yes I think that the last 2 episodes will now focus on their journey to a championship after the 1995 playoffs loss. The second three-peat and the final years of Jordan's prime.

I hope there will be a side part of Karl Malone and the whole Utah Jazz. That would be great. Utah Jazz dominate the Western Conference from 1996 to 1998 and gives Chicago Bulls a hard time in their finals meetup.

Yes, is there anything else to surprise us?
They went too deep in giving all the information, even the behind the scenes.

If that will not be the end of this episode then what else could it be?
Anyone have some theories? Whoever compiled it did a good job. It might have took a lot of time.

Yes, probably we can see some interview from Karl Malone and John Stockton. And probably highlight Jordan's last winning shot here. Or we may see his life after basketball, and focus on the last part of him acquiring Charlotte Hornets.
That last shot that until now reminding all the Jazz fans, the steal from Malone's back and that push from Russell we can expect those moments from the final part of this 10 part series of the Last dance, also looking forward to see more from Pippen and Phil Jackson.
If recalling it right this both personalities are the reason why the bulls part ways.

Must... resist... the... urge...

Sorry, I don't watch GOT but I replaced it for a pretty good one. Alex Caruso the GOAT

Haha. That's hilarious.

As for me, I would like to watch some of the full episodes when everything is finished. Hopefully can find some source where I can download it with no problem. if they released it in amazon or any other stores would be great, that could be added to some of my collections.seeing some preview in the Facebook advertisement of the documentary the Last Dance, makes me feel excited to watch the full episode at once.

If you knew how to download on torrent, you can find it there. If you don't, send me a message I'll give you a link. You can watch all episodes by May 17 where the last 2 episodes would be publish.
I don't like torrents. I got bad history with it. Too much virus cannot be handled by my anti-virus.  Grin
This is also why it's taking a lot of time for me to watch the episodes.
I am trying to download them all just so I could watch them again when I miss it.
The other reason, is I hate buffering. I might break my television when I throw the TV remote.  Grin

This Last Dance thing aired probably on the best possible time it could have ever been aired. I mean think about it, there is no NBA but also all the NBA fans who are missing NBA are at home and have super available time as well. Its really something quite special to see something like this. Jordan is probably the favorite player for many people around my age, we literally put him on exception list when we were talking about our favorites, asking "who is your favorite player, except jordan" was a thing when I was a kid because almost everyone said Jordan. To see the insides, to see all the things he have been through, to see him going from this perfect sports person and ideal man type of situation in 80's into becoming this sort of anti-hero type of person over years, it really showed who he really was and I am really in love with it. I will probably watch it again when it is all over.

Lol the part where Jordan talked about his dad, didn't cried, talked about being pressured about gambling, didn't cry, talked about losing so many playoff games, didn't cried, when he was asked why he was hard on other teammates... he CRIED.

If anyone says he wasn't a good teammate outside of his real teammates, do not listen to them. This dude punched a guy in the face and became close friends with him afterwards and gave him the last shot in one of the most famous situations. He may be a bit hard and tough but that is only because he is trying to get the best out of you and that's it.

I think the last two would probably be the first championship of last threepeat off-season and second championship and the last years last games basically. That is all there is left with the pattern they are going.

Hey, hey, please do calm down or you will spoil it all.  Wink
Yeah, I am loving it.
We now know why MJ is trying so hard to not let it go streaming worldwide.
There is just too much tension and a lot had been revealed in it.
He also considered what will others feel if the film will go out.

What good timing too, people are in lock down and like waiting for an episode of GOAT.  Grin

This is a kind of old issue yet this is a new published article but what do you think about this?

--> https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/david-robinson-says-no-one-should-be-surprised-that-isiah-thomas-was-left-off-dream-team-chemistry-matters/

Those who were able to witness their glory days, I was still young during that time.
It is a fact that Isiah Thomas was definitely good enough to be invited to Dream Team, as he was one of the best PG of that time (with Stockton and Magic Johnson) but I don't think it was Jordan's fault that he wasn't part of the team in the end, as several other players had feud with Isiah, like Larry Bird for example. He was a bad boy of NBA, that's the rep he got due his style, so it is possible that decision was made purely due team chemistry issues. Those were different times, players had real rivalries back then, as they didn't just move to different teams in order to get titles, like they are doing now. I guess we will never know for sure..
Yes.

That's for sure, we'll never know the truth with that. And this issue that was brought up will remain too as is.
Considering also that Dream Team was coached by Chuck Daly but the team don't have any representative, Isiah Thomas should be there as he's fit with every qualifications that being asked. From what we had heard this issue was been pointed to MJ though until now there's no clear explanation why he wasn't been invited, aside from linking everything to MJ's influenced and how the stories being told.
MJ is known and that probably would be one of the issues in the press that's still a question.

They would dig up on MJ so that if he knows something, then he'll tell the real details but it seems they just have to give up and leave him at peace.
