When it comes to height there are other stuff that matters. Yao Ming had a wonderful career and he is an hall of fame player right now however he wasn't just tall, he had a great shot from midrange as well. If you are just only tall and you can't do much else than being tall than I am sorry but you are not gonna make it in the NBA that much.
I always thought he would be perfect in Euroleague, there are Tavares type of players who get minutes during bench time and when starters leave a center like Tacko Fall would make a lot of difference in euroleague. Celtics could do their best to keep him and play him but I see a european future in Tacko Fall. If he continues to improve himself and actually become a good player, than kudos to him but if he is just "tall" and nothing else than I am sorry but his NBA career will not live too long.

Just curious, do you see something in Tacko where he might not last long in the NBA? IMO, he can compete in the league, add a few more pounds and he's ready to bang bodies with any bigs out there.
Many giants have come before him and we don't even remember a lot of them because their careers don't last that long. They are prone to injuries. He looks agile now because youth is still in him and he hasn't played the number of games with a high level of competition yet. I don't know him but did a research now, he is so tall at 7-7 but we don't know if he can run and his size would fit in the system of the Celtics, we know they run. If Boban Marjanovic at this height of 7-3 is very slow, I don't like to expect much of this one, but I but like to be wrong.
I can say that this one is pretty capable but i don't really expect too much yet people this tall do really prone to injuries.

Tacko can be a good market for Boston as he's being noticed by the fans and they are loving his additions, but everything can only be decided when the season already started..

If you cannot give them something worth seeing then you are useless.

That's the factors the management will see to determine your market value. With regards to Jeremy Lin i think injury is the one that is keeping him at bay while age is slowly betraying him. This man can really bring the team to the playoffs at least but with the good team he can also play it to the finals because he ain't greedy he knows his position as well and for a role player like him, is hard to find nowadays glad that some team signed him again.

I've also seen some highlights and he looks good with some post moves but people that tall don't usually last playing multiple physical games in a year. It's his durability that's being questioned. He is somewhat good in this coming season with a lot of improvements we cannot wait to see what he got on his sleeves when facing such monsters. but if Tacko can survive this year without gaining some major injury then that's it the next season he plays he can fully support a team that time.

The guy who caught my attention while watching some of the NBA summer league highlights that passed in my news feed. Why he caught my attention? Because of his height at 7 ft 7 and one of the tallest player that will enter the upcoming season or I think he holds now the record for 2019-20 as the tallest player. Not sure though.
And not just that, wherever he dunked, I see Boban Marjanović to him wherein after a successful dunk and still touching the rim, his feet can be seen literally on the ground. What a height.

Speaking of Boban Marjanović, he is now officially signed with the Dallas Mavericks.
The team now have 2 giants, a 7ft3 Porzingis and also a 7ft3 Boban.
He is still a great player, what happened to him? It is true that he did not that much the last season's Finals but he still can play right? He may not be the same at the time Linsanity is a thing but I think still had it in him, just give him a chance.
