I agree, they have the lead almost the entire game, did play good however, they have some loopholes on closing out the game. I thought that they are going to cruise and win the game. They have the lead in the third then Lakers come back, then they did the lead.

But in the last four minutes of the 4th, they simply melt down and then Green to tie and in the OT the Lakers took over.

That shot was the biggest that game. That saves them from going home depressed of the result. Since that was a close game and they'll just going home because of a miss three if that didn't go in. Danny Green put the team's weight onto his shoulders and carried them at that shot. I start to love Danny Green since the first game of the season in which he stepped up for the team even though they lost that game. Anyway congrats to the team for getting the W and forcing the OT. And also to the two guys who step up that game, LeBron and Luka. After that game, there was a post in FB saying LeBron said "You're a bad motherf***er" to Luka.

Ahhh. Good stuff. I love it when both team are giving their all just to win the game. That just means something for the NBA.
Forget about the softness for now but the entertainment this two gave just so the audience will be on their feet for every exciting minute of the game.

Green was just too much. He really proved how clutch he is. So does Luca. Man, that kid really gives me the creeps. He is so young but he could really match up with the stars of the NBA.
Dallas wont let go of this boy. They got their new Nowitzki now. Grin

I think the Mavericks are still very young. They still have a lot of room to improve on that area they are lacking and closing out games is one of them. The whole team of mavericks did a good job with this game they gave the lakers and lebron a hard time winning and forcing an ot. Experience beats talent on this game.

This season will be the best to get such good experiences, each team just need to enjoy it (of course we nba fans as well) as this season is really unpredictable. Like what you've said this game showed up that experience beats talent on this game. In short a legend vs a future legend.

A 20 y.o Luka Doncic who've made 10 triple double. AFAIK he's the only one who've made that before to get 21.

Well, Doncic out there breaking/making records.
He is by far the best rookie since Lebron. In his 2 years in the NBA he could already carry a team, a thing that I have never seen since Lebron carry the Cavs early in his career without an allstar.
It's going to be expected, Luka will continue to break records in the future. I can see Luka and Porzingis an upgraded version of Nash and Nowitzki from the Mavs.

That was good for the NBA, this game was really entertaining, Dallas could have take this win but Green was too clutch to bring the game to OT.
Lebron also had a very efficient night, and I was surprise that he got this confident back shooting in the 3 point line.

Overall, this game showed how every team showed their effort to win but in the end, there should only be one winner, but Dallas man is legit to play this high intensity game against the Lakers.

Kudos to both for giving a good entertaining night.

LeBron and Davis are monster in this game. But we see Duncic played triple double for his team and his resilience in the game make it difficult for the Lakers to win. Of course, in the overtime it was LeBron and Davis taking over the game to wrap it up.

Such an incredible game. Back and forth lead with Doncic and Lebron duel.
Doncic is one amazing player. Growing up idolizing Lebron he really isn't a disappointment when he battled Lebron today. Records a triple double in just 3 quarters and took the number 1 spot in most triple double in the age of 20.
Lebron on the other hand wont take it easy for Doncic as he dominated every aspect of the game with a triple double as well.
Damn those who bet for the Lakers -4.5 or -5.5 has been saved by Lebron and Danny lol.
