Lots of good team contender are right now in the west such as: Dallas, Timberwolves, and Lakers that it is really way harder for warriors to make on top 8 without now steph. I'm still not losing hope for this team as if we know that their path is clear. Hoping for fast recovery for steph.

Edit: While I'm typing this D'Angelo Russel scored now 25 points for their game today versus Spurs. Still half of the minutes in the 3rd quarter.

. End of first half and the score is 48-58 in favor of Mavs.

Porzingris and Dincic are doing great however I'm a little bit bothered because Doncic already got 3 personal fouls. This foul trouble might hinders him to maintain good defense on the remaining quarters. On the other hand, Lebron seems carrying his team again Grin

. His hands are starting to get hot, let's see if it was enough to win this game.

Well, the maverick is on the lead right now. I think most are underestimating the mavs because their roster is young but I think they are a qualified contender and can beat the Lakers this time.

Past performance and my Instinct. Lakers will be the favorites by most people here. They have big stars, but ever wonder why sportsbooks set the same odds for Moneyline with Dallas.

Not with the experience, but the way Mavericks played on their first 4 games, I didn't see them having difficulties in building chemistry as a team. They should be 4-0 now but got a little problem on their Pelicans game. Just my 2 cents.

I might say warriors would be on a tanking mode this season after this unfortunate situation and probably will just prepare for the next season.

Scoring 38 points sounds pretty dominant for me though. And his defense was pretty evident as well. If this is a preview of things to come for the Clippers, then I think they're well on their way deep into the playoffs. Probably a better finish than the CP3, Blake era. The Spurs, even with the loss, I think will be a better team this season as well. As you've mentioned, Pop did a good job in maximizing their strengths, at this time it's their shooting. Hope we see these two teams in the playoffs, though the Clippers for me are bound to get to the conference finals.

Actually I'm not seeing that game as Kawhi dominated the whole Spurs. Kawhi made that big points out from 32 attempts (career-high FGA). Anyhow, still, close at his usual average.

Both teams showed a less average than their usual in terms of field goals made overall. Both teams also established lots of fouls that Popovich even got mad to what happened. In other words, both teams are sort of struggling during their offense. That means both teams show an impressive defense.

Clippers win is not because of only Kawhi. That's the whole team's effort. They made a good rally that turns the tables around. No dominance happened or whatever.

Spurs played not bad neither but their turnovers was a big problem, Clippers have a great defense so the Spurs had hard time playing their own style, which resulted with Spurs having 80 shots in the game versus 91 of the Clippers, both teams didn't play that amazingly on offense to be honest, when you shoot 11 more times the difference usually is not 6 points, for comparison clippers shot 91 times and scored 103, spurs shot 80 times and scored 97 which as you can see means teams usually score more points than the FG attempts they have and just 11 more shooting with only 6 point difference means both teams weren't that efficient.

Clippers is still great but I feel like they need PG back for offensive help, they need to find a better and more efficient way to score.

Yeah usually the teams will announce they will be sitting g a player. The NBA discourages teams surprising by benching a superstar because it sucks for people paying thousands of dollars to come to a game only to find out the player you came to see is benched that night. They did this too with AD when he was still at Pelicans. Keeping him safe so that the Lakers will get him fully fresh without a scratch of injury.
We might seeing more of what they call a "strategy".
