I really don't think any of these leftover free agents would make a difference in any team.

People like Jeremy Lin because he was different than all athletes, he was a Harvard student who didn't had basketball scholarship and he made his own way to NBA and that made him relatable, plus he had that insanity period and that made him popular too.

However, looking back on last year, dude played in only 23 games and started in 3 of them, he shot 20% from the three point line and 34% on field goals for a total of 7 points in 18 minutes. That literally means he shot way too much for his scoring ability. He can still make a career in NBA as a 6th man in some team but dude is far away from his New York insanity era and that is why he is not finding any place to find, teams are afraid he will try too hard to show himself again and fail miserably while dragging the team down as well.

Tacko Fall has officially signed with the Celtics. Some have doubted how his body can cope up with the NBA and I don't know if he can hold up to the bigs in the east like Embid and Giannis but I can't wait for the Celtics-Sixers-Bucks. One of them will win the Eastern conference.

Keeping Lillard was their greatest deal ever. With their lineup, they still might make it to the championship .
McCollum is his Pippen. It is also a wise move to extend him for he got the potential of being a champion.

Let the team improve their chemistry by playing together for it may also improve their plays and also a higher chance to get the title.
Like I said, their line up looks good. We shall see whether they can go deep into the playoff again next season. A lot of teams in the West have made some potentially significant improvements also.

Jeremy Lin

This man can really bring the team to the playoffs at least but with the good team he can also play it to the finals because he ain't greedy he knows his position as well and for a role player like him, is hard to find nowadays glad that some team signed him again.

Where this champion would go.  Huh

He is still a great player, what happened to him? It is true that he did not that much the last season's Finals but he still can play right? He may not be the same at the time Linsanity is a thing but I think still had it in him, just give him a chance.

He is not being given some good minutes even with his past teams.
I dont really know what happened but the hype about him just vanished. He needs another spark.
Is it because he is Asian? Grin Damn NBA racist.

Free agents remaining.

Kenneth Faried

If I have a team in the NBA, I'll take him, he did well with the Rockets when their main Center was injured, I don't know how much his value and I don't know why the Rockets are letting him go.

Yes. Me too. I will take that guy. He is a monster below the rim and he might have been let go because of the cap space needed for Westbrook.
Or they just dont want it him anymore since Mike D'Antoni is some "speedy kind of game play".
Although he have the speed, he just dont want big guys in his roster.

Celtics could be a good landing for him. Too many guards there. They need a forward/center type.
(If there is still a cap space.)

He is one of the good players in the NBA right now, Just too that he didn't get a championship but his man can help the team to reach its goal to run for playoffs. he is one of the dominating role players out there. just like kanther this man has a good offence under the Rim too.

He can also energize his team, I would like him to sign with the Lakers if that is possible, he can help for the Lakers to improve in defense.
I think he is now fully healthy, so no doubt he can perform better than he plays with the Rockets.

I don't think he is great even he is still in NYK. I remember the time when Linsanity has been named to him. I think it is the buzzer beater three by him. After that he did stepped up but slowly stepped down. He is not great for me
I'm a fan of him but it's because I've got some other reasons and he's supporting e-sports and even built a team named after him.

There's a rumor about him that I've just searched.

It's a series of games, if I'm not mistaken it was around Feb 2012, when he was given the chance and since Carmelo Anthony is out that time and they are on the losing streak, coach Mike D'Antoni need someone to spark the team and the hell he did.

But when D'Antoni resigned as their head coach next month March 2012 and when Anthony came back, the Linsanity fever has ended. Plus Jeremy Lin was also injured that month as well.

That's the right story their, It's Melo who ruined the Linsanity, and Melo is not known to be a good teammate, look where here is now, he don't play well with the OKC and he was lost in the NBA.

After that, Jeremy play with the Lakers, but we know Kobe, not a good teammate as well.

What's the update about this guy, he was good during his short time but he hasn't show some consistency thus far.

He should be back with the NYK to the place where he belongs, maybe he can do some magic again.

He is still a decent player but I doubt that he can bring back the glory days of Linsanity. Damn, the good thing is that he was given the time to shine and proved his worth on the NBA, the bad thing is that he is in New York that time and rumours says that Carmelo has something to do with Lin being traded or something and the magic had ended.

No man, he can't do anything like he did when he was still in NYK. Yes he still has his shooting going but he's playmaking sucks that's why he hasn't gained playing time the previous season.

Yes, there's a lot of memes about him that he became a champion without that much contribution to the team. As Reid said, he chose to become a free agent, I don't know if his contract has ended or he chose to choose another team that he can stay for this season or more seasons to come. I'm asking on what's going to be possible new team for him. He's a great player, he just didn't get the spotlight last season and every individual that gets in to the league can be considered as great.  Wink

So the Blazers got a veteran and a champ center, Pau Gasol agreed to a one year deal with this relatively young team. I think the Blazer management did a good job here. It's a good line up.
Keeping Lillard was their greatest deal ever.
I agree, this is an asset to their team and good choice of keeping Lillard. Though they have a veteran and it's noticeable that these teams are working with a veteran and choosing them over other free agents or I guess they have no choice and just want to test out with short term contracts.

Dude shot 25% on 2.8 attempts, I am pretty sure he is just Ben Simmons that just takes the shots, people mock Ben Simmons for not shooting but if he shot his shots he would have hit 25% on less than 3 attempts as well, he just didn't want to shoot that bad I suppose.

Giannis is a great player and he is a quite all around player both on offense and defense however he has absolutely no shooting AT ALL. So, getting better at it would be amazing of course but if he doesn't improve and keeps on shooting just to spread the floor more, than he would actually lose his team more points than otherwise. If you are shooting 25% from the three point line just so the team could have more spacing than you are hurting the team more than just crowding the paint area.

Yeah! right, but for me, I'm ok with him if he cannot shoot 3 pointers as most NBA stars do, because like the saying "No Man is an ISland" he also need to have a superstar teammate like the other team does. By the way, I'm enjoying every game of Giannis because of his dominant under the rim. I hope we can see more of it this next season.
Giannis is improving season by season and with athleticism, height and mentality for sure he will still dominate under the rim. Team chemistry is really a must for getting rings, nothing did just being selfish on all plays. Even the great MJ and Kobe needs some to call them a legend. If Giannis will find the best and suited teammates on the court for sure they will be on the zone, you know what Giannis is capable of and plus a better teammate/s for sure it's unstoppable.

Indeed he is a great athlete and he keeps improving every season.
But, I think that he lacks of skill in strategy and playstyle. He is kinda predictable and you know that would be his next move. If he enrich his playstyle he would be for sure unstoppable.
