It always looks good on paper, but you'll never know what will happen. Just like what happened with DYIP vs Magnolia, we thought that Magnolia would easily dominate DYIP, but it turned out to be a tight game. Magnolia almost lost, but they were lucky to bring the game to OT, and they had to play hard to win.

Even though NorthPort wins on their last game and Phoenix lost on their last game, Phoenix beat NorthPort. Correct me if that's the format they are using still for those experts out there

That was really a huge upset if Terrafirman was able to keep their consistency in the last few minutes. They literally choked, I must say.

Almost a win for Terrafima, if the import only kept the ball right they still in lead by 2 point if I remember it right with only 20 seconds in the game clock, not sure why Cabagnot or Tiongson didn't hold the ball and set it for the team, almost quite a win if they manage to protect that ball either go strong to the basket and create a contact for a possible foul or rotate the ball and force Mags to foul.

But nothing can be change. Mags aggressiveness to win force them and it was a good snatch for team Magnolia.

That was really a huge upset if Terrafirman was able to keep their consistency in the last few minutes. They literally choked, I must say.

What a huge effort from the team, especially their import that is known to always make a big production, even if winning won't give them a chance to make it to the quarterfinals. However, Magnolia didn't give up and was able to bounce back.

Just a waste as like what you mentioned even they will bring someone to reinforce them the chance of moving to the next round is no longer possible, I was in the impression that after re-hiring coach Yeng and bring James Yap back to attract more fans will also let the franchise to play harder and bring the old glory back.

It was an overrated assumption, I guess, there's nothing that coach Yeng can do with the current squad that he got.

Hopefully, they will bring something that will impress the fans and start supporting them again,.

Waste of money to pay for import at this point so maybe the only thing they need is to maximize their existing resources and maybe gain experience this season. Maybe they need to reserve their energy for next season to recover and come up with their bad season this year.

For sure many of their fans are losing hope for them to get a better position and they should look up what mistakes on their rotation they made so that they became a better contender next season.

This is a crucial game for both teams, and if they want to have a chance to be on the next round its now or never.
ROS should play well here despite of the absence of the import, I know their local players are good as well so they can still have the chance here. Northport might dominate most of the quarter here and yes they are the favored team to win, let's see if this is a high scoring game or both team will explode defensively. I'll go for ROS on this one.

Almost spoiled that win if Teng manage to put the pressure and that opportunities to take the lead went in, but fate to win is for you, both sides turned to Meralco's favor.

Not a good attempt for Converge to complete the snatch, as Meralco is really fighting for every chance that they've got in winning this game.

I’m surprised to read the news about Danny playing again, and I didn’t expect to see him again honestly.
He was legend, and whatever reason for coming back I hope he’s more than healthy to play again. Though a limited playing time for him, but at least he’s in uniform and can be called in any time. This might be a big loss to them but they are not out yet, Converge have to take the win on their remaining game to qualify for the next round.

Can't expect an explosive game for Danny I since he's not at his prime anymore. Maybe his assignment is to guide their young roosters as he is also a coach in the team. We see him sit back on the bench on crucial game since the coach make sure to get fast phase of the game so that means he is not for crucial games but rather for garbage time only. Maybe he cannot expect huge as a player but for his experience can be a guide to make this team a competitive one.

Probably playing with a different purpose and role now, but its really good to see a legend playing again in the PBA.
The games was very intense and a close one, Meralco was able to survive the game despite of the run of Converge in the last quarter. This is a crucial game for Converge, unfortunately they are not able to control the game and have a win. Looking for more playing time with Danny, maybe he can still play better.

It his first game and even if Danny is already part of the team as a coaching staff it will still different if you are playing in the court, giving more playing time to Danny might be a big risk but who knows, he might contribute a lot and I expect this on their next game. Meralco are just too focused to get a win, it was a good game play to them as they didn’t bother that much on their opponent.
