Ginebra vs. Bay Area on Sunday. I'm hoping that this will be the time where the arena will be filled with Ginebra Fans like how they are during the playoffs. I'm also thinking on who will defend the 7'5" player of the Dragons Cheesy.

No one can defend him but Ginebra will just make a good strategy to make him useless, a fast pace game will be very much suitable in this kind of game, and we know Brownlee can explode and they have Pringle who is already back, so it will be a good game.
Some of the players with Ginebra already have the experience on defending tall player and I guess they already know how that guy play the game and they already scout it. This will be more exciting if we saw a huge crowd to support Ginebra, it's Sunday so most probably we will see more viewers. Let's see if Ginebra can bring the first loss to Bay Area or they will suffer another defeat, Brownlee should be activated on this game or else they can't stand the chance.

Betting odds should be up later since this game will be tomorrow.

Meanwhile, have you see the TNT vs NP? That was crazy, huge bounc back by TNT and they dominated the NP.
Also, Pogoy made 8-9 in the 3 point area, this guy is really unconscious, I think he will be the next best star player in the team, not Williams.

Bay Arena Dragons is still undefeated, however, they are not that dominant as what we expected, they only won a single digit win, so it's still a close game against the converge. I know they are good, but I think they will not end this conference as undefeated since they haven't face the good teams yet such as Ginebra, SMB, TNT, and Magnolia.

One day, that zero will go away when they face Ginebra or SMB Beermen. I just forgot to check the odds for that Bay Arena Dragons vs Converge but i think they did not cover the spread for today's game so come Sunday when they face the crowd favorite Ginebra, the spread will be close and if bookies will still give a 7.5 spread for Ginebra then I will not hesitate to bet for the Kings.
I also think that way.
Their first 4 games are against the independent teams who we know that are always at the bottom.

Their next games are against SMC and MVP. The top 6 teams in the PBA and this is the true challenge for them. Their performance in their remaining games will dictate how they will perform in the playoffs. Bay Area almost lost to NorthPort and Converge last night already got the momentum, but it's just that they can't make the job done.

Being down by 22 points by a team like Bay Area Dragons, it's already a lose.

But look at how Converge is able to cut down the lead. They are behind by 22 points in the 4th quarter with 10 minutes left.

Their 3 points FG in the 4th quarter is the key to that rally. This team is really good and a have a good future.

They have a great night, and their plays working for them perfectly that may not be a huge lead but that is a statement that we should not see them as a simple team because they can really have a good run. I also believe good teams can beat them and I’m excited for that matches. There’s nothing especial with the plays of Bay Area though, it’s really beatable.
There’s no team that is unbeatable they just need to play with their game perfectly and outsmart their opponent, with that game Bay Area did an exceptional job on beating Converge. That’s still a close game but that doesn’t mean Bay Area just got luck here, they work on every point and they really deserve the win. With their remaining games, I believe Bay Area will advance to the next round, it’s really good for a guest team.

Just another unlucky night, that's why for me, I don't usually put a parlay bet especially on a team that people think is not gonna lose.

Talking about parlay, you need to be lucky to win.

Actually, parlay bet is fun because of the high reward, and I agree that SMB the champ in the past conference should win that game, but Blackwater was the better team and that parlay was destroyed. For me, I'm looking forward on their next game and will bet on SMB because for sure they will not lose twice in a row.

Same here, not betting on the spread but I will go with the moneyline, I'm pretty sure I'll get +300 the lease. Anyway, this team is really good but they have not face the Ginebra yet, I'm excited to see the import vs import production in this game, I'm still betting on Brownlee as I think he can beat the opponent's import.

Is there a change of schedule?

SMB now is playing against Bossing, I thought they will be playing the Bay Area Dragons... Smiley
Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I was not able to read the schedules clearly.

Maybe you got just confused.

PBA can't just change the series of matches. The scheduled match on eliminations is fixed. Only the date schedule is changing for various reasons such as typhoons, pandemic, or any things that can affect a certain game schedule. But when it comes to the replacement of the team, it's rare.
Yeah, maybe I was just confused, it's probably because I want to see a team that could potentially beat the Bay Area Dragons.

But still, I can't move on to my parlay bet last night. The reason is really unacceptable and that was SMB losing to Blackwater. Can't imagine that game will be the reason to crash my parlay bet where in fact that leg should be an easy pick. -sigh-

It looks easy but in gambling no bets are certain.

Just another unlucky night, that's why for me, I don't usually put a parlay bet especially on a team that people think is not gonna lose.

On the other hand, Bossing's import Krutwig got his first 20-18-10 triple double in this conference. I don't know for others but for me, this is the first time that I saw an import who focuses also on passing aside from shooting. Most of the time when we see imports in PBA, we often see them shooting, but Krutwig is different since he is also passing. I think with how they are playing; they might reach the playoffs again this conference.

Good import indeed, however, we cannot deny that Blackwater has really improved, they have a roster that plays like a good teammate, and they don't rely on someone that's why they are fun to watch now. In fact, even in the all Filipino cup, they are already fun to watch, it's just that they are not a championship team but they are a competitive team.

We can see that, but improvement is not enough, they should be a title contender if they want to be a champion, but if this team is just a farm team, then there's no chance there will be a consistent improvement as their big boss might just take away their best player as long as they see he is ready to play on their team.
From 2010-present year, only 3 independent teams got a title.
Rain or Shine in 2015-2016 Governor's cup, Alaska in 2012-2013 Commissioner's Cup and Petron in 2010-2011 Governor's Cup. I'm not sure though if Petron is an independent team at that time.

The point is for the past 13 years, the league has been dominated by SMC or MVP and those independent teams will still be a farm team. It's kind of frustrating to see that the league is being focused on these 2 big companies, but I guess there's nothing we can do about it as PBA Fans. As for Blackwater and for the rest of the independent teams, they will never win a title if the current system is still the same. Independent teams will always be farm teams and if this doesn't change, they will not win a title.

Yes, improvement is not enough to win a title, but if they are just here for business, I mean, if they just wanted to advertise or a big exposure for their business, then it's okay to continue being a farm team. They still surviving and they are earning or might be earning from doing the trade from time to time. But on the other side I see your point, they are really fighting or competing so well it's just so happen that the main gunners are not enough to win against the solid super teams.

According to the schedule tomorrow, we have converge vs Bay Area Dragons.

Bay Area Dragons is still undefeated until now, does converge have a chance of beating them? If there is, how big?
I'm checking on the spread, but it looks like it's not yet available.

But here's my question, if converge is +10.5, would you take it?

Converge played so well against Magnolia it's just a comeback from behind the win if I'm not mistaken for Magnolia. Let see if Converge will be able to upset the visiting team or if that certain handicap is provided by bookies. My personal take is, they can cover it, though it will depend on how they will play the system tomorrow.

After Meralco bolts vs Tirrafirma dyip then the current number 1 in the league which is the visitor Bay Area Dragon fighting against our local Converge which is I analyze and in my own opinion  the chance of converge to win is too small. The reason is that Bay area dragons has a good speed and ball movement with a good play finding open teammates to shoot in the three point line, and also even their big man can shoot in the outer. So I'll go for Bay area Dragon for this. Just my opinion.

Converge is very energetic with its young players pushing the ball. At least that is what I observed in their games this conference. I like to believe that they can take the Bay Area Dragons but something is telling me that the Bay Area Dragons will not allow it to happen. The Dragons are the more mature team. This is important at the clutch moments. We have already seen how tenacious the dragons are and will not easily lose focus. They also have lots of clutch players that could shoot from the outside.

But here's my question, if converge is +10.5, would you take it?

I will definitely take this action. Bay area Dragons may win the match, but they will not be able to cover this big of a handicap. Converge is young but they have the heart to play big when needed.

Ginebra also lost to ROS as well in their first game.
Both the sister teams lost to both independent teams.
Both the sister teams lost in their first games. Something's fishy Cheesy.

Kidding aside, I also thought that the SMB will win because they have the lead in most of the game, but I was surprised that the Bossing manage to defeat them. Maybe the reason is it's SMB's first game of the conference so it might have an effect on them at least. Another one is their import. They changed at the last minute, and they replace their supposed import Thomas Robinson by Diamond Stone which played well on his first game scoring 20 points, but shot 7/23 on the field.
