Good luck mate, but as of the moment SMB is leading the game, well, you have a point, without Fajardo I think SMB would be a problem, so taking the Bay Area Dragons is a good choice. Maybe I'll just observe a bit, will just put a bet once I'm comfortable with the odds and the spread, watching now.

Fajardo won't be playing because of the surgery to his throat and per report he gonna missed a few games, so I think if will be a tough hill to climb for the Beermen considering that the Dragons will go out strong and prove to the PBA fans that they are for real.



Though I'm a fan of the Beermen but will put my money on the Dragons on this game because i think that Diamond won't be enough to beat the Dragons.

Yeah, there are still people who will bet for them and take that huge risk. They will hope that the import will help them and the locals will give that good competition in trying to beat the visiting team, but unlike with Gin kings who have both Japet and CStan, SMB can't match the inside force of Bay area, that 7'5 center and their 6'9 import would be too much for Tau and their import, just saying though but the tempo of the game will depend from how they will set it up.

Thanks for the update, as I have said previously, SMB is not going to push him to play and it's better to rest him. The risk is high if he will play in this game. And it's obvious that they will be the underdog in the absence of JMF. But for SMB backers might be a good chance and bet on them as a underdog.


Yes still very possible to create an "upset", but I will play safe with that +6.5 handicap on them. Just maybe throw minimum amount on the ML but let's see. 

That's a big one, losing JMF their best player is gonna hurt the team, however, I think that +6.5 is just too high, so I might still gonna take that handicap, besides, they still have some big guys who can defend the paint, Tautuaa may not be that tall but he has the strength to compete against anyone.

Odd is already available using Stake.com ML for SMB @3.10 while with handicap +6.5 @1.84, the last update that I've heard is JMF is already ruled out due to some injury, maybe that's why they are a heavy underdog here, if another upset happen with the visiting team gamblers who will backup SMB with ML will enjoy that recent amount of profits.

Though the chance of winning is low if JMF is not around, but who knows other stars of SMB will stepup and the entire team will play
as a whole, they are still capable with the help of their import.

I do not know what happened to RoS import. He is not playing today. Does anyone know why the RoS does not have an import? RoS locals still fought valiantly even though they know they cannot beat a powerhouse without an import. The game is too one-sided.


It will be an interesting game. They are the stronger teams in PBA right now so seeing them clash would be a treat. I would be betting for SMB if June Mar is playing but somebody said he is already ruled out in this game. Very unfortunate but we have to live with it. Hopefully we can see them play against each other in the playoffs so we can see June Mar go against the giants of Bay Area Dragons.

This conference is very unpredictable, even the strong teams does not guarantee a win, so it's our chance to bet on the underdog as upset is normal now. Meralco is known for their strong defense, but we also know that Converge was composed by plenty Alaska players that are also good defensively, so it's not surprising to me that they beat the Meralco Boltz.

They just played 2 games so far and they lose in their first game against Magnolia.

Magnolia Chicken Timplados is enjoying the top spot with 4 games unbeatable. They already beat TNT in this elimination although by just 2 points.

How has TNT become the most consistent team right now just because they beat Rain Or Shine? Confused.

Converge win the game even though meralco manage the lead but when the last minute of the game converge take and win the match. Also I did not put a bet in this game in online because of little time conflict when I checked it's already done and converge win but also I am still win because I bet against my fellow office mate. For the second game TNT vs ROS is a big chance for TNT to win this game  because they are stronger than ROS but we can not say it until end of the game

TNT would win this game, another blowout win by TNT, thus far, TNT is the most consistent team now, waiting for the time to see them playing either SMB or Ginebra to see if they really are that strong. Oftana is such a huge steal by the TNT, this team is now becoming more dangerous specially outside.

It turns out it was not a sure win because Converge won the game. I believe Meralco was the favorite on that game, looks like we have plenty of upsets in the past games so far, so is that the trend to follow?

Meanwhile, we have ROS vs TNT, looks like we now see a sure winner as TNT is already ahead by 18 points.

It's understandable, mate. Even if I'm on your feet, I won't consider betting on Meralco ML even if the odds went to @9. That was risky. Even if that's Meralco, we will think that it's risky to trust them to overcome that 20 points deficit and win at the end of the game.

You have to move on now on that bet as it's now close to happening haha. 99-97 Converge with less than a minute to go.

Nice timing indeed, now the Meralco is leading by a point in the fourth quarter with 6 minutes to go.

Too bad that i have not bet on that ML for Meralco at halftime, could have been a few dollars richer if I'm brave enough to take that one hehe.

Converge did upset Meralco but my first half bet for Meralco +13.5 won  .

Yes, saw the PBA post at half-time where surprisingly Converge has a 20-point lead over the favorite Meralco. Actually, I'm not surprised if Converge has the lead at halftime but 20-points is really surprising knowing Meralco is one of the tough teams in the league.

But things changed in the 3rd quarter as Meralco cut downs the lead to at least 3 points 77-74 with 28 points scoring at Meralco over 8 points at Converge with 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd. The 3rd quarter finished with 87-82 Converge. What a run by Meralco.

Nice timing on that +13.5 Meralco. It has a chance.

Looks like we will be having an upset on tonight's game between the Meralco Bolts and Converge Fiberxers.

The score at the half is 48-68 with the Fiberxers leading and at the moment the ML odds for Meralco Bolts is @8.0.

That's very tempting but I won't bet that, I will take the handicap, for now, Meralco +13.5 @1.8.

BTW, the pre-game odds are Meralco 1.53, and Converge 2.48.

Well, he still shows that he wants to make a difference despite of his situation but that's it.

We can see his passion for the game and even after his retirement, there's a lot of space for him to get into any team through a coaching staff. But mostly, the TNT won't let him be taken by any other team.

Ginebra was not undefeated coming to that game, so it's not surprising that they lose again IMO. Their first game, they also lose to the Rain or Shine, was even worst because Rain or Shine beat them by 22 points,  so you can tell that this team still has a little problem which I hope they'll be able to fix soon to achieve consistency.

It's like Ginebra was really eyeing to go a win against the Bay Area Dragons. The confidence is high, the eagerness is high, and the determination is high to the fact that facing a team as tough as Bay Area Dragons can really bring excitement as beating this team can erase the thoughts of their critics that they are nothing against this team.

Watching the early quarters of their game against Phoenix it seems that BGSM is just playing relaxed. Not saying they are comfortable to win but Phoenix also has the feeling I mentioned above as Ginebra is a tough team to beat. BGSM just become aggressive when they are still behind with a few minutes remaining on the regulations and as mentioned above, that's the first time Brownlee confronts a player defending him and that is even a rookie. As I watched the replay of that play, Brownlee should just let it go as that was part of the game. But since they are trying to catch up with the scores, maybe frustrations arise from him which is unusual for him.

There's also a play where Japeth Aguilar connects a shoulder right in front of the face of whom he is defending which is something that shouldn't happen. I don't know what happened to Ginebra but yes, as you said, just another day for a team that even a Favorite to win, upset can still happen. Phoenix on the other hand is not that weak to consider.
