I ask my friend who were able to bet on that game, he said that Converge was +25.5 before the game, imagine that, so that's really a huge upset. Bookies were wrong in this, Converge was even dictating the game as they were leading most of the time and until the end they didn't allow the TNT to comeback.

TNT is still going to be in the playoffs but they are not the same team anymore, they really miss the service of Williams because they don't have a consistent scorer that could also play like a mid range game and could play some good defense as well. I'm not saying they'll sign Williams because it does look impossible, but they can find a player like him.

It's surprising that they loss to the Converge who have been struggling this season. Hmm.. I don't trust them anymore, and this is not the first time they loss against a weak team, it seems like this team has not consistency yet, and there's really a missing piece that they need to put in for them to be considered as a championship team.

TNT is really relying so hard on their outside shooting, when it's not falling they'll likely loss.

Just take it with a grain of salt as that was already the usual scene in PBA every All-Filipino Conference.

SMB is always the team to beat during the pure local player's conference especially when they are playing with a full healthy lineup.

Wait for the next import conference (Governors Cup & Commissioners Cup) and you can't expect SMB to always dominate most of the games.

It feels like it's becoming boring to watch the PBA because almost all the teams are under the San Miguel Corporation, more likely sister companies. They also seem to always win championships because they have the power to sign top players. I wish the old teams like Coca Cola Tigers, Alaska Aces, Air 21 and Sta Lucia could come back. These are the teams I remember; maybe only '90s kids know most about them.

And just look at the 2nd unit, they have Jericho Cruz, Trollano, Teng, and Romeo, and some other big guys who played well before with their previous teams. Even the most popular team in the PBA which is the Ginebra have no match on this line up because they have a deep roster. Moving back to the current topic, I guess Mikey Williams issue is no longer a thing even with TNT's fans, his attitude towards the league should not be tolerated, though he really have that talents and skills but playing only when you wanted to play and demanding for something that over-exceeding from what the league is permitting that's not good from both the team and the league image if they will allow this kind of treatment coming from Williams.

In terms of Cruz opinion or statement, with their current stats it can be done for my personal opinion, SMB is a complete package squad when everyone is healthy, they can compete even with the National team if they will play a tune up game against them, as long as they can keep thei original players and let the remaining National to play against them.

If they can add more teams which is not part of the big two franchises or also not a part of the farm team, or like what we are discussing previously about inviting overseas teams which very effective the last time they offer it.

It's more on the adjustments and willingness of the management that may survive the league in terms of fans interest.

I think for now that they could not accomodate new teams then they should invite overseas teams and play with the league. With that, the season will be more competitive, and even though the farm tems still exist but people would not mind that as they want to see the best teams in the PBA playing against an overseas teams in the playoffs, or in the Finals at best.

I think they have the lowest output in a single game not sure if they already made history on this one, Meralco 74 - Magnolia 51 points.. 51.. yes that's it, have you seen a team that went to the finals last season and only scored 51 points in the entire game? I think this team really have a problem, and although they secured their playoff spot already but I think they'll be having a problem in the series if they cannot figure out their offense problem.

We don't want to see the same teams with strong line ups always comes back in the semis and finals. We're too tired seeing those teams as if they're the only teams playing on the league. It's kind of deserving to see that the crowd is empty for every game and even in championships, they're giving free tickets and despite that, not everyone tries to get them even they're no cost at all. It's all about what the fans like and I think it was Coach Yeng Guiao that says that the PBA management should listen to what the fans like and not them. They should be done to their own purposes and they should give it this time to fans or they will see the downfall of PBA. Actually, it's already falling.

They don't get it actually, the real problem is not that people can't afford for the tickets but it's the lack of interest because they are not anymore seeing this as a competitive league. (X) all that farm teams, at least for a start and let's see from their if the league's revenue will progress. The next thing to do is eliminate sister teams as we can't prevent people from thinking that sister teams when playing they aren't serious.

IMHO, they are aware of it and they get it. It's true that it's not about the ticket prices because whatever the cost of it, if the league is handled well. The venues are going to be closely booked and there will be no more scalpers that will take those tickets but even now, the scalpers aren't interested to take part of hoarding tickets. LOL. The farm teams don't really make sense for the league and the commissioners don't do anything with it in their power to control them but it's always money that talks for them.

I agree, it's not all about the ticket prices or other cost in purchasing merch, it's all about people and the supporters are losing interest with them because of repetitive teams playing in the semis, supporters know how the team plays and they can easily predict who will become the winning team, But I don't know if there's still a lot of people still watching them once it was aired on television.
