... will be taking a parlay on the moneyline.
Unfortunately Phoenix fall short int he last quarter. You can see the rust in the game since they are outscored in the first quarter, slowly they made an adjustment until the 4th quarter but still fall by 4 points. Parlay is dead, you need to come back in the 2nd game, double or nothing? Smiley
That's the game for parlay, you missed one you lose the bet. But the good thing is you don't need to bet big to win big, but the risk is high and the chances are low. You need to be lucky to win, and for me, I'm not doing parlay on a regular basis, I'm more focus on one bet with the spread, just like how serious gamblers are doing.

I think It will be Ginebra winning the 2nd game, they are -5.5 now, hopefully they'll dominate for an easy win. I might just wait for the live betting here, it's hard to trust nowadays, you know it's PBA, nothing is impossible, even bad teams could look good.
Ginebra wins the game but they just did enough to cover the spread since they won by 6 points. I hope bettors does not experiment by incresing spread for better payout as -6.5 means a losing bet.

Malonzo the contoversial guy led the Ginebra on this win with 32 points. big game for him.

So with good import, and a good coach, there's no reason this team will be in the championship competition again.

Let's say, given that they have good import, a good coach, and good key players, let's face it, Meralco is generally lacking solid manpower. Their starters are the only foundation of the team and they are not even consistent. Their bench is full of literally seat warmers and a clapping squad.

Even Tim Cone, Steve Kerr, or the legendary Phil Jackson will handle Meralco, without enough manpower capable of filling the position that a coach wants in his strategy, nothing will happen. Meralco will just stay where they are as the priority is their sister company, TNT Katropa. They are just ahead of a bit over a considered farm team.

It's sad to hear about that farm team to be in the discussion again. I think Meralco should not be considered as a farm team as that would only mean TNT is only the legit team. Not good, if there is a farm team for TNT or Meralco, that should be coming from a team that never into the championship, like Blackwater or DYIP. It cannot be denied that they don't have the talented players like the other teams, AFAIK, only Newsome is included in the Gilas pool and he was just new to the national team. But the fact that they reach the finals before, that would still prove that it's on the coach, and now that they have a different coach, so the result is different as well.

You can't blame people talking about the farm team as it has been rampant in the PBA and it's already a well known rumor. We just have to accept that these farm teams are only their to play but not to compete at a high level, why? because they can't since their players are below average compared to the other legitimate teams. It's so disappointing but that has been how the PBA has been working so far, they are contented with it, and they are not making a changes despite the dislike of the fans.

I understand but it's just disappointing that they have no plan on improving the league when other leagues are trying to make theirs better.  This is the result of politics within the league that the people who are running it are under the influence of the giant team owners. We can't deny the fact that SMB and TNT owners are the people behind or in control of the PBA, because without them, this league won't be able to get a good venue and pay the players with a decent salary. It's just that we are not moving at the right direction, and that's the reason why the number of teams are still limited until now.

Finally we will be seeing strong teams playing today, they are back after a long rest.

We have these double header, First game Northport vs Phoenix, and 2nd game is Rain or Shine vs Ginebra.
I haven't check the spread yet but I'm incline to bet on the well rested team, forget about the rust got Ginebra and Phoenix, will be taking a parlay on the moneyline.

Hope to see a blowout win for Ginebra as I'm considering the spread as well.

They are back with vengeance and will try to correct their mistake last season, they exit early and now they are trying to be back in the Finals again. With the same line up, I hope they'll be able to create the fight bond already especially Ahamnissi who sometimes is out of sync based on my observation.

I'll support you with your prediction on Ginebra winning by blowout, as first game is very imporatant, they should make a strong statement.

Tomorrow, another familiar teams will be facing.

In the first game, it's Bossing vs Converge, and the second game is Bolts vs NLEX. This is looking like teams have been shortened in numbers. I hope these times are not yet tired for playing a lot while other teams are still resting. Since we've seen them play in the past few days, then I think it would be easier to select the winner, or the trend will continue, which is one team is down big time in the first half, but they will have a big run in the 2nd half to win the game.

The first game has been concluded and Northport beat Converge. Now the 2nd game has just started, NLEX vs Bolts, I think i'm going for NLEX here as I like them not a lot of hesitation, if they are shooting well especially from the outside, this should be an easy win for them. I'm wondering why they are heavily underdog, currently at +5.5, but it doesn't matter I'm still gonna take the moneyline.

Very accurate pick because NLEX won by 3 points. Bollick again is their best player contributing 26 points and lead the team in the 4th quarter big run. This team is quite exciting to watch, they also play some good defense as they were able to limit the Bolts to below 100 points. On the other team, Newsome had 22 points, but he miss the last shot to bring the game to OT. Congratulations again mate.

They key is bet on the underdog as they have been winning recently. Meralco have lost 2 times already against an underdog team, so you can't trust them anymore if you are expecting a consistency. The last 2 games it was Maliksi who was their top scorer, now it was Newsome but made a lot of mistakes down the stretch especially in the 4th quarter.
That's why there's a rumo that Newsome will be traded... can they consider maybe changing their coach?
I mean, Newsome has been playing well during the time of Norman block, he might not be an explosive player in the offense but his defense makes this team still a dangerous team. Still remember when they reach in the Finals? That was when Durham was their import.. So with good import, and a good coach, there's no reason this team will be in the championship competition again.

Since Luigi Trillo stepped in as the coach of this team, they are not the same anymore. I think Norman Black was really the right man to coach this team.

According to the report, Normam Black has already become a consultant, so he still have say with the new coach. Probably he is still under evaluation and if Meralco will continue to struggle, we might know the consequences on that.

I think that's a typo error but yes Converge losses another game, while Bossing have their 3rd straight win, a very balance scoring for the top seeded squad, I like how coach Jeff manage to balance the rotation and with how good they are executing the system seems that we might see them continuing this streak, hoping that it's not just to hype up this team but a real competitor for this season, though we haven't seen any SMC group to play for this season and knowing how they composed their squad will be a big challenge for the Bossing.

If they can win from one of those 3 super team maybe we can say now that this rebuilding really helps them to be a competitive squad, hopefully they will continue and will bring that kind of competition for the fans to start gaining curiosity if why they are getting this good outcome.

Bias to say but I'm also start watching clips as I'm one of those solid fan of James Yap, I know he still got something though not that same level but giving him enough time and exposure he can still bring that deligthment to his fans.

Speaking of BlackWater Bossing. I've watched a video of Pingris together with Paul Artadi and James Yap. It seems that they're bestfriends and Ping said that get angry whoever wants to get angry with what he's about to say but it should be Magnolia where James Yap is playing and should retire but they didn't take him. I agree to him, he's able to contribute very well to the franchise for how many years and yet, they're done with him and didn't give him his final season or games with them. Anyway, the Bossing is doing good and I think this is the first time seeing them at this good start. Thanks to Bossing management for taking care of James Yap.

I also saw that video and i could say that PBA is purely business and retiring James Yap's jersey on the team of Magnolia is what a PBA and fan of James wanted to see but politics might have an effect on this matter. There were a lot of players who played for SMC Group of Companies like Danny Ildefonso whose jersey was not retired on the SMB Beermen so i think those three SMC teams are not used in doing this thing.

Maybe they are not doing any move unless if they can use the player to win a championship and provably they don't see that to happen since Yap is out of his prime already so maybe they just think about its just a waste of their slot to sign him back on their team that's why we didn't see that to happen. I guess Yap will not retire as a hot shot and we won't see that to happen since what's more better for SMC team is to win a championship for their team.

Maybe they just cut off the drama since they can only get temporary hype for that and maybe the management didn't see any long term effect that's why maybe they prepared to get more valuable player which can help their team for long term.

This is another surprising outcome. I thought that Converge already had control of the game, but they ended up losing. Another overtime game this season and I think this is the 3rd time already I witnessed an overtime game. Northport managed to beat Converge 104-112, just unbelievable. Are they rigging this? Grin

Anyway, great game by Tolentino who finished with 31 points despite his struggle from beyond the arc.

Tolentino has now become the star player of Northport, but let's watch out for a possible trade in the future as that could happen since Northport are not a championship team and they can easily give up their star player.

Some players we are seeing in NLEX now came from Northport, Anthony and Bollick is  now leading the NLEX... Also, before there was Romeo and Pringle, but now they are in the SMB team. So even if this team (Northport) will improve, they will not become a championship team.

When Pringle and TR7 was playing with them they are making their way to be competitive if I remember it right they manage to right the playoffs but lost against Alaska, and just like what you mentioned, maybe Tolentino is showingsome game but we know this team serving as a farm team maybe we might see Tolentino playing with SMC group just like how TR7 and Pringle they both been traded and enjoy the benefits of that trade, and just noting Tolentino was a part of Gin kings before he has been traded with the way he's showing interest may rise again from boss Al', just a call away and he might set it up to one of his teams.

Yeah both DYIP and Bossing have their good start, though it's too early but still a good improvement for this season, we are enjoying farm team winning and for those gabmlers who loves to read the patterns it might be possible to take the handicap for this underdog teams as they are bringing decent outcomes, just saying' but don't take my word it's just a simple observation  hahaha..

The second game, by the way, is between Northport and Converge. These teams are just playing against each other with a little rest; the giant teams haven't come out yet, probably given enough time to rest as they finished late last season. SMB, Ginebra, Magnolia, and Phoenix, these teams haven't played yet.
Converge had 11 points lead after the first half. We might see the same scenario in the first game, so I think betting on Northport is the right play.

This might be different from the first game as Converge is slowly pulling away here. From an 11-point lead now up to 15 points. I guess Northport might be a little tired here, so I don't find it easy for them to come back from this huge deficit.

Tolentino is leading Northport, but with 15 points only, while on Converge, they have Stockton and Arana who scored 17 and 18 points, respectively. I would not take the high handicap here as it might only increase my losses. Guess we just have to finish watching this game and prepare to analyze the NBA games tomorrow. After this, PBA will resume on its normal schedule, which will start on Wednesday.

Wait a minute, this is not over yet as Northport had a big run in the 4th quarter. From a 15-point deficit, now it's only down to 5 points, and we have a ball game here. They might even get a win here; I'm optimistic. There's still plenty of time, so it's possible.

PBA games so far are very unpredictable; it's never over until the clock turns to zero. Good luck. I hope Converge will choke, or maybe we will see another overtime game tonight.
