Congrats to all those who win and for those who ake the favorite, just need to move forward and try to find another potential game that may give you opportunity to bounce back and recover.

The betting continues today. The first game has already started between NLEX vs. DYIP. NLEX is enjoying a 10-point lead after the first quarter and the score is 57-47, but this is far from over yet. There's still the 2nd half, and anything can happen, so I would bet on DYIP here with a handicap of +8.5.

Congratulations, that was a good catch. Not only did they cover the +8.5, but they did more than that by winning the game with a final score of 99-95. The second half was all DYIP, especially the fourth quarter. So again, trash teams making a good start here. I think both DYIP and Blackwater are already 2-0 so far.

Yeah both DYIP and Bossing have their good start, though it's too early but still a good improvement for this season, we are enjoying farm team winning and for those gabmlers who loves to read the patterns it might be possible to take the handicap for this underdog teams as they are bringing decent outcomes, just saying' but don't take my word it's just a simple observation  hahaha..

The second game, by the way, is between Northport and Converge. These teams are just playing against each other with a little rest; the giant teams haven't come out yet, probably given enough time to rest as they finished late last season. SMB, Ginebra, Magnolia, and Phoenix, these teams haven't played yet.
Converge had 11 points lead after the first half. We might see the same scenario in the first game, so I think betting on Northport is the right play.

This might be different from the first game as Converge is slowly pulling away here. From an 11-point lead now up to 15 points. I guess Northport might be a little tired here, so I don't find it easy for them to come back from this huge deficit.

Tolentino is leading Northport, but with 15 points only, while on Converge, they have Stockton and Arana who scored 17 and 18 points, respectively. I would not take the high handicap here as it might only increase my losses. Guess we just have to finish watching this game and prepare to analyze the NBA games tomorrow. After this, PBA will resume on its normal schedule, which will start on Wednesday.

Seems that it might be doing the same pattern, as of this moment under 5mins Converge lead was already been cut to a single digit only 2 points and Northport still have a lot of time to snatch this or for those who bet during live handicap it might be possible that they are now comfortably waiting for the outcome.

It seems like no one is talking about the games today.

The first game is over, with the bossing winning again as they beat TNT by 11 points (87-76). Currently, we have the Rain or Shine and the Meralco Bolts, and it's looking good for Meralco as they are leading after the first half. They are aiming for a bounce back after the loss in the opening.

The score is 42-49 in favor of Meralco. Anyone here interested in taking a higher risk by betting on ROS to win?

Another overtime game; last night, NLEX vs. Northport went to overtime, and now we have this game. It's never safe to have a good lead because any team can have a good run and bring the game to OT. I'm afraid that Meralco will lose again; that could really trigger trading Newsome.

Good thing they were able to survive. the Bolts are leading by 3 points, and Maliksi is on the free-throw line now for 2 shot attempts. He missed the first attempt but made the second. With 7.5 seconds left, let's see what will be the strategy of ROS coming from the timeout because if they make a 3, they are still down by 1 point. I think Meralco is the favorite in betting, so most likely, they will not cover the spread.

121-117 is the final score ( not sure what was the point spread for Meralco).

Maliksi is now the top scorer of this team. However, sometimes he loses his focus, which can disrupt their game. He is the only one consistent outside shooter, so if he has a hot shooting night, it makes the team better and unpredictable. As we all know, this team usually drives the ball to the paint with a lot of passing. The strength of Meralco lies in their defense, but their offense is not as strong.

Maliksi finished with 26 points in this game, an impressive performance for him, but he doesn't drop these kinds of numbers on a regular basis.

Regarding the betting odds, Rain or Shine was the favorite, so the Moneyline for Meralco was certainly attractive.

https://777score.ph/basketball/matches/meralco-bolts-vs-rain-or-shine-elasto-painters

Lucky for those who picked the Bolts especially for risk takers who take the ML that's sweet another missed opportunity for ROS very close game but unable to snatch this one from a struggling Meralco, a perfect timing for Maliksi to save the day, knowing him and his capability he's one of those shooters who can give you decent percentage if you let him take a free shot, I like him before when he's still playing with Big Game James and the rest of the hotshots, a good replacement to give some rest either for Simon or Yap.

Congrats to all those who win and for those who ake the favorite, just need to move forward and try to find another potential game that may give you opportunity to bounce back and recover.

What can we expect from this team this All Filipino Cup? Is their lineup enough to be a playoff team? They have some veterans on the team and good defensive players like Semerad and Anthony, and we know that these two always plays hard on the court, but Bolick should lead the team.

Though they manage to win the game but in terms of being playoff competitive agaisnt SMC teams who are very dominant, not sure if NLEX have that enough firepower to compete against Gin kings,SMB and Magnolia, especially that we are in the all filipino cup where no reinforcement to carry the load, though it's still too early to conclude and the ball always round, upset can still happen here.

One game is not enough to conclude that they are a playoff team already. If they struggled against Northport, how much more against a legit playoff team? Even with the Magnolia Hotspots, I think they won't last, as Magnolia is a very good defensive team that can limit Berto if he is the only one carrying the team. Unlike Magnolia, which focuses on improving the team and does not rely on one man.

I agree that Berto should be back to his original place, carrying a team is not new to him, he can do it as long as the coach and his teamates believes in him, he can bring the best on him and try to help winning the game.

He had 31 points in this game, shooting 9-22, making it a very efficient performance for him.

However, I'm not sure if he could achieve that number against a defensive team. Bollick played against his old team, so he pretty much knows how to defeat them.

You said it right,  stronger team can find ways to limit him so it's needed that the rest of his pals should be ready whatever the help he will need, not just magnolia but more with SMB and Gin Kings where the squads are equipped by players that have capability to limit him, and just like what you mentioned one win can't conclude the fate of his team, it's a long journey and a lots competition to win, they just need to go one step at a time and try to be more competitive working together to strengthen their squad.

Looks like farm teams are having a great start. In their opening, Blackwater beat the Bolts, and now it's the DYIP that beat Converge. My bet lost, and I have to double that on the next game. With that said, I'm betting on the Road Warriors to win by -2.5.

I'm also interested on betting the over 203.5 ( no push that way). And,... Northport over 102.5

Good luck guys, have a great evening. Game will start at 7;30 pm/

We're witnessing a very entertaining game now between these two. NLEX started strong, but Northport was able to have a good run, and now they are only trailing by 1 point. As for the total points of this game, the pregame odds are still almost the same, so that's fun since it's still in the 3rd quarter, and there's a chance that in the 4th quarter they'll score more due to a possible increase in fouls committed, as it's a close game. If this game goes to OT, that would be a huge bonus for the over.

Already in the 4th quarter now, and it's now Northport that is leading the game, but it's still a manageable lead. So yes, OT is possible here, and the over will hit easily. Enjoy the action, guys, as this All-Filipino is also entertaining to watch. By the way, I have my bet on Northport here, and I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far. Hopefully, it will not change, but I cannot be sure here since there's still plenty of time.
And it has changed now. NLEX is now taking the lead, but as you mentioned, it's a close game, and either team could win. Let's have another extra minutes in overtime, why not? This is a good matchup, and we deserve to have fun. But I would always want NLEX to win by at least 3 points.

The over/under now is not certain, please more fouls to come....

Edit : and the game went to OT... I just need a 3 point win now for NLEX.
over  203.5 will win.,   Northport (should be NLEX) over 102.5(although miss typed) will win

Nice win! It indeed went to overtime, and NLEX won, covering the spread. The final score is 107-100. The spread was covered, and the team total and the overall total as well. Nice bounce back after losing the first game. Bolick is enjoying his role here with NLEX; he was the best player of the game.

Message @Hhampuz if you are looking for a CM!
March 01, 2024, 05:09:12 AM

Just the same thing over and over, if there's a rumor we might notice changes from how the player play the game, maybe there's already a negotiation between him and boss Al' as we noticed how good he was with CTC's system, maybe chances to get his service for the Brgy might be possible, good replacement for LA in case he choose to retire and focus with his coaching career.

Playing with SMB, if that's a trade, who would they trade for Chris Newsome? It would be easier for him if he transferred to the sister team of Meralco, which is TNT. I think they need someone like him, someone who can play defense, as TNT isn't known for being particularly defensive; they tend to focus on running the ball and shooting from outside. Anyway, let's wait for the development of that rumor. Currently, it's TNT vs ROS, and the game is almost tied after the first half, with the score at 51-50, ROS taking a 1 point lead.

Observing how he played the game seems that you are right he's fit with how coach Chot play his system more on running and dribbling the ball, Newsome can penetrate and just drop the ball to whoever open shooters like Poguy and Oftana, maybe they can trade montalbo and bring Newsome in, since that it's  a sister companies they can make it work, as we know how MVP and SMC can just twist the rules inside PBA just a call away and comm. Marcial will approve it.

Montalbo alone may not be enough to get Newsome. A real trade would require at least two players of Montalbo's skills in exchange for Newsome; there should be one that will be traded too to get Newsome. This is just a rumor, but soon we will know the full story. For now, let's keep the discussion on the current team. As we've witnessed in the opening, TNT got their first win, but Meralco started with a 0.

Quote
Kidding aside, we just need to wait for the development of this possible trade, maybe they if ever that MVP and SMC will cross trade players it's possible to have a 3-way deal which may include Tau from SMB and a player from GSM to take Newsome from Meralco, just assuming if they'll going to push this possible trade.
Tau hasn't been an asset with the SMB, so they might just let him go. I haven't seen Manuel playing with the team anymore, but if he gets back healthy, I believe he is better than Tau as he has some mid range game too aside from his attack inside the paint.

They were successful against ROS because they shot 40% from the 3point area, but can they duplicate that against SMB or Magnolia, the teams that played in the Finals last season?

That was not even a question as TNT's main offense is mostly on 3 3-point area.

Regardless of who's their opponent, they will just attempt to drain 3s.

That's the strategy that they will never change as they work hard on their 3-point shooting to win. Like they said, they are the GSW in the PBA, so just like the Warriors, they'll make more attempts outside as that's their strenght. Well, I guess TNT will just have to improve their shooting so they can beat the powerhouse PBA teams.

On the other hand, teams like SMB and Magnolia are also doing well in that area aside from the fact they can also dominate the shaded area.

The better question would be if TNT can keep up with SMB or Magnolia since they are lacking a dominant and steady local big man. The All-Filipino Cup brings many disadvantages to most teams in the league as outside that conference, imports mostly cover the big man position.

SMB doesn't have the consistency as we had witnessed during the PBA finals. When their outside shooting struggles, they lose, so it will be a battle of who is better outside if they face each other, and the better team will win the game. It's too early, though; let's just see how these teams will play without an import.
