Boooh. No way . Too much risk !! For me yes it's too risky, because we can't sure if the altcoins you can choose will make a boom in the future. Moreover not all coins have a capacity to survive, maybe in other way they have chance to increase their value. I suggest to invest your money into different altcoins.  ( SONM and UNIVERSA ) Tipp  Grin

If all your money is in a safe asset (coin from the top 30) then I think there is no reason to worry. But it should be borne in mind that cryptocurrency is always a risk.

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks
I advise you if you want to make more profit then you should choose 1 potential altcoin to buy. Because the $ 500 is not a big capital, if you buy too much low value altcoin, you will not have much profit. I recommend long term investment on Monero. Currently Monero is still relatively low price, you should buy before the price increase. Monero has very good technology, no 3rd party can find the user because all transactions with Monero are completely anonymous. In the future I believe Monero will be more popular as the government will tighten control of the crypto market, when so many people will use Monero because it is private.

Well since you are going to invest in only $500 going all in is the best way to make fast profit. If you can find a good coin that has a chance to make 2x , 3x in short term you can go in. The best part is currently we are in the early stages of bull market so there will be many good opportunities.

I would suggest to invest in 3-5 coins.
At the beginng it is better to invest small money so you get a feeling about the cryptoworld without tears.
But at first do your own research about the project and ask yourself about your strategy, short- or longterm.

I feel it's a big risk,  with $500 you can buy cheap good coins that worth a thousands units with such amount,  invest like $200 in pundi X,  you gonna get close to 40k units, invest another $200 in sharder coin it's currently $0.09 and invest $100 Helbiz coin,  I'm pretty sure you gonna make great profits because those coins are still an undervalue gem

I think it's irrational to put all the money in one project. If you do not have time to deal with buying, then Bitcoin al derim. Stay at least fifty bitcide at Yada. If the project you are expecting to get out falls, you will have a chance to get it.

Of course this is a big risk, I think it is necessary to keep up to 10 different altcoins in the portfolio to avoid a big fall.

If you invest in sound projects, you will have a big rise, but a random investment in coin will unfortunately lead to negative results.

If you invest your money in only one altcoin I think the profit you will get is less than the maximum, and you have too much risk. You'd better invest in 2 or 3 altcoins, so if you do not benefit from 1 altcoins, at least you will benefit from other altcoins. If possible, minimize the risk of investing in crypto, using the right alternative and strategy.

Majority of the users have suggested for a diversified investment plan, whether it is altcoins or something else similar to investment schemes doesn't matter. Because, if the asset on which we have made our investment goes down we cannot avoid the loss, same if diversified user can try to compensate with one another.

Try to invest atleast 2 to 3 altcoins. Firstly you have to study their platform to make sure that investing in that coins will benefit you in long term and also in short term investments. Remember to buy at lowest price to get more coins and hodl it until you make huge profits.

Holding Huge amounts of money in one single coin is suicidal we cant move ahead if we incur losses from that particular coin better to diversify very often

Actually diversification in investing is very important. However, if you have been optimistic about the future of altcoin that you hold. Means you are ready to face any risk that will happen, as well as achieve wealth from the investment itself.

I think that it is worth the risk if you are putting your money on a low cap coin that might be promising.

I do not think like many other people that i saw on this thread, there are a lot of coins that are more than promising and can give you a huge return if you know in where to put your money.

But if they are potential coin, they will get a high profit margin. Everything has two sides of them, but choosing the way he seems to be more risky. So distributing capital in many tokens will reduce the risk of investment.

Yes, I think it's too risky for you. You do not know if the project is real or not, and whether the project you choose will be able to give you a big advantage with your investment there. Because in my opinion, if you put all the money you have in just one project, the potential for you to lose money will be enormous.
Better you allocate the money you have for investing in more than one project, so you also open up opportunities for yourself can get many benefits in some projects.

It only takes one great investment, held for a very long time, to change your family's destiny forever. Great fortunes aren't built from risking everything on a single stock that triples in a year. They more frequently arise from decades of holding ownership in extremely profitable firms that generate ever-growing earnings.
A great rule of investment is always built a diverse portfolio, never put all your investment in one stock or coin. A diverse portfolio minimizes the risk. I would not suggest any specific tokens for investment (as I leave that as part of your research), there are many indicators that can help you picking coins for investment like the project idea, make cap, no of coins in circulation etc. Your money is result of your hard work, take special care of it before investing it in any token.

It is not risky if you know what you are doing, if you put all your money in only one altcoin, and you do not know a shit about that, then the best thing that you can do is just to diversify your entire budget to re-distribute your possible losses.

It is indeed a very risky investment but if you really want to take risk, then risk on bitcoin because it's the most stable and dominant crypto in cryptoworld. You can have a long term investment for about 3-5 years and you will get super big profit on that time.
