You're nitpicking and finding reasons to be infuriated when you really have no right to be. Alpha Technology has not missed their initially stated target. They have increased the hashrate of the devices tenfold from what we agreed to buy at the outset...and they were under no obligation to do so, except to stay in business and deliver the product.
I'm sick of people saying Alpha is saintly for giving 10x hash. If they didn't, they would've gotten flooded by customers demanding refunds when they could've recovered 75% of their 30% payment (making for a marginal loss). Alpha did the 10x increase BECAUSE THEY HAD TO. It was pure calculated reason. I suspect that part of the delay is because the chips are nearing fab (hopefully) AND because they know they may need to do more since they are now past their worst case scenario and their main selling point and thrust was "first to market." So, I believe you are wrong when you say they didn't have to increase the hash or compete. They did and still do. The terms and conditions aren't the only things, there are written promises in advertisements (posts on this forum and news announcements are all considered advertisements). They will be held to those statements as much as their terms and they promised to be competitive. People invested relying on that and other statements. Those aren't throw away statements.
As far as hiding their info, I was commenting on the entire picture of their removals. I was the first poster on ltctalk calling the crazies racist for their crap and trying to publicly call them out. I do not support that but its the cost of doing business.

I have said this before and I will say it again as I don't think it has been said enough and I don't think you understand the cost of such a significant upgrade compared to the perceived 'benefits':
An argument can be made that we 'had' to increase to 18/90 to match competition at the time but none can be made for the increase to 50/250, this was done AFTER final payment once we knew we had the funds to do so and it was purely goodwill on our part in order to keep our customers loyal for future batches. Even if for whatever reason you don't see it that way, the fact is it was still done at our expense.
SO while his customers are waiting for an update he finds time to spread more lies and misinformation. The actual sequence of events was this:
May 22nd Alpha ask for final payment. Customers complain about the lack of prototype. Fiaz announces there will be no prototype. Payments dry up.(

So how Fiaz can say with a straight face, the increase was done after they knew they had the funds and was a gesture of goodwill is beyond me. The guy just doesn't know when to stop bullshitting.
Its clear things are imploding at Alpha, the father and brother are desperately trying to distance themselves from this car crash. They have both removed themselves from the Alpha about us page, which the were on just a few days ago.

Alpha are giving their customers the big FU. It's blatantly obvious they are incapable of running a bath let alone a company. I would suggest anyone who wants to stand a chance of getting their money back start NOW. If you wait too long you will end up with nothing.
I would also suggest you flood their father's and brother's Accountancy business with complaints. They are both liable, as they were directors and lent their names and reputations to this enterprise. If their brother wants to lie and cover for Alpha so be it, but he should realise there is real peoples money at stake and he has a responsibility to aid in returning it, otherwise be tarred with the same brush.
