Ruiz has the higher confidence in this rematch since he already stopped AJ on their first encounter. And this is an immediate rematch. AJ dared without a break nor tune ups which is very risky career wise. But I don't think AJ quit on their first encounter. It was the referee that stopped it.
Boxing is an art and Andy Ruiz got the better of Anthony Joshua in the first fight and there were reports that Anthony Joshua got knocked out in the gym while training for the Andy Ruiz fight and he was concussed coming into the main event and since it was his debut here in the US he was having panic attack in the back stage before coming to the ring and now he has a loss in his career and i am expecting him to fight better in this fight as it will be a career changing rematch and one more defeat will end the hype he created.

That first fight served as a wake up call for AJ to be not over confident and not over looked opponents. Ruiz is a substitute opponent for AJ since Miller failed the drug test, that may also be the reason why AJ is over confident that he could beat Ruiz.

The first few rounds of the fight belongs to Joshua, in the third round, that's where the misery begins for AJ when he's trying to go for the kill when Ruiz was knock down and he's the one being hit by that short and crispy punch that put him in the canvass. I could not say that Ruiz is superior in the first fight, it's just that AJ was careless. Anyways, if AJ would still lose this rematch, his boxing career is over.

But still i am betting for AJ to win this one.

If you bet on AJ to win the fight whether through decision or KO, you will only get 1.44 odds, I think that's too cheap.

Maybe you'll consider betting on AJ to win via decision @ 5.40 because he might not be too confident in this fight trying to knock out the champ, maybe he will just use his length and consistently score throughout the 12 rounds.

Let this rematch would be the final judgement if he deserve on what hes trying to prove.I would say that this wont be an easy fight for AJ even he do think the opposite.
If Andy Ruiz win the rematch then there is no point in having a trilogy and the promoters and the coaching staff of Anthony Joshua will be doing their best to prepare him to keep on winning as he is a big cash cow in the UK and if he needs to earn money like he used to do in the past he needs to win this rematch somehow and i am expecting a better prepared Anthony Joshua and i am waiting for the fight and still the underdog is Ruiz even though he won the first fight convincingly.

Why not have a trilogy though? If the money is there in the table, they why not?

If Joshua wins then if will be 1-1 and a final fight is needed to happen in order to settle everything. Just a matter of days now, and I'm sure boxing fans are eagerly awaiting and excited to watch this fight.

Yes it is there are a lot of uploaded  videos about the fights, some of them are interviewed on both camps and reviews on the upcoming fights, everyone here is excited, this is going to be a much bigger events than what happen in all the fights this year, I hope they eclipse the actions on their first meeting.

This is one of the videos I liked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fX6DuoAGxM

Surely there will be a trilogy, Ruiz before the fight number 1 was just an ordinary boxer, now he became a superstar, and even if AJ will beat him in this upcoming fight, for sure AJ would give what Ruiz gave to him, its'a another chance for fans to see them fight again provided AJ will win this rematch.

They wouldn't have let their prize fighter get into the ring if he had been KO'd in sparring, let's be honest.
Ruiz just got in a great shot, and AJ never recovered, it's as simple as that. Nobody could have seen that punch coming, AJ wasn't being sloppy at all.
I am not saying that Anthony Joshua lost because of a lucky shot, Andy Ruiz was a superior fighter in the first fight and i just said about the excuse the team said about the loss and it is not a fake news either as Anthony Joshua got knocked out during sparring session and once the fight is announced as the main event you cannot pull out just like that and the pressure will be too much.

Guys, you should watch this interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOXFH0f9kp4

I think Ruiz mentally more prepared than Joshua. On minutes 09:48, he believes that AJ quit the last match. What do you think?

Ruiz was confidence because he has beaten Anthony before and is thought is that he have seeing Anthony's all while Anthony is not well prepared for the fight which is the reason why he ask for an immediate rematch to prove the first fight was just a fluke. Like you said, it very risky to his career and this is what make this rematch very important to him.
@mu_enrico, interview are just for evaluation and it can't 100% justify the result of the rematch.
Of course there would such kind of reasoning that AJ isnt on his top form when they fought which these fluke sayings flying everywhere.

Yeah it was the referee that stop the fight,.. in boxing especially in championship fight, its very rare to see a fight quit even though its very clear that he was beaten up so badly, one example I can give is Oscar De La Hoya, he quit and gave Manny a TKO, but its know a heavyweight fight however, its all the same.

^^ Well we can't say if it's really a good strategy to lost some weight in this fight. I mean everything is perfect in the first fight so why chance now? Maybe his power is not there because he could also be losing muscle mass along the way.

And we won't find it out until we see his performance on the ring. But I would speculate that he takes his advantage on this one and could haunt him if he loses his fight with Joshua here, just saying.
All of us watching in the first fight and the fight is going perfectly for Andy. but what Andy feels might be different, his weight may be a hindrance to his aggressiveness to launch an attack on AJ. if Andy wins again in this second fight I think there is definitely no trilogy, but if AJ wins there will be the third fight

If they want to make more money on this two fighters, they will have to take this to a trilogy fight.
I believe Ruiz being the underdog here needs to win by KO again so he will surely be a winner, if this will go to score card the corrupt judges might play and they'll give this fight to joshua.

just imagine how big they will make in the fight number 3 if the scenario above will happen.

Meanwhile, Andy Ruiz just got a lifetime cheque of $13 million in this rematch alone. Man, I guess that was more money than all of the 42 prize fights Beyonce Wilder had. Beyonce wanted Ruiz to repeat over AJ for him to unify the belts. If Ruiz is wise enough which I believe they are, they will demand bigger money, bigger share and probably a Mexican city as the venue. Ruiz team for sure knows they will remain an underdog against Wilder. But before this, let's watch Ruiz spank AJ again.
Deontay wilder not Beyonce, do you like Beyonce this much?

Its our own speculation but we are not expert, we will see it in the ring this coming fight night.
Ruiz is definitely not underestimating Joshua here as he has prepared for this 2nd fight, including losing some weight which could make him faster I guess.

Exactly, lets just enjoy this fight and bet on the fighter we think will win.
