same problem here. failed and the secodn transaction is pending.

Could someone from Kraken kindly look at Request #10014

My SEPA transfer got a status of "Failure", and then I tried initiating it again, but it stayed in "Pending", after which I thought that your system is non-functional and that I would like to transfer my funds elsewhere (e.g., change back to btc and move along), so I clicked the red X button to cancel the second try, but it didn't cancel it. It's still "Pending".

The red X button gave only an error: "No change - Internal error" or something like that.

All of this is really weird because my details have stayed the same, so I don't understand why the transaction resulted in a failure in the first place. It must've been something on your end.

Please check the support ticket #10014

Thanks

I have exactly the same. Transfer requested monday, got a Failure message a while after. Tried a new transfer, which has been stuck on Pending for 24 hours now. I'm well within my withdrawal limits and I've used the same information that I've used for several withdrawals in the past.

Not made a ticket yet, but was just about to when I saw this post.

edit: Ticket made: #10285
edit2: Status of my second withdrawal just changed to "Sent".

Sorry I might have missed your response but a previous member asked about the ETA for ripple gateway. Any Update?

The recent explosion in our user base has put this on the back burner for now. I'd say an optimistic estimate is that we get enough of a breather sometime in January that we can start working on it again and maybe bring the gateway online sometime in February.

Cool, thanks for the response, Looking forward to it.

UPDATE:  my xrp withdrawal issue has been resolved.  After one full week, i'm happy to say that Kraken made my 126,000 xrp re-appear and I was able to withdrawal it safely this time.

Thanks for keeping in touch with the community, Dargo.  Hope you guys get all the kinks worked out soon.

anyone else have problems with withdrawing litecoin?

Totally, my LTC deposit didn't show up as it is supposed to.  Kraken resolved the issue within a day.  That was one week ago.

What are the rate limits for api requests? Would be useful to add these to the help page.

The rate limit is 1 call every 5 seconds.

Is this for private calls only? Whats the limit for public calls? I feel kinda spammy to get the order book for few pairs :s
+1

Dargo,
such information needs to be provided in api documentation.
do you have any kind of api newsletter? to be up to date with any kind of changes improvements (even the docs improvements). This would help too.

It's the limit for private calls. The limit for public calls is higher, but but I don't know what it is. There's no API newsletter. At the very least, the API documentation needs to be improved, and it's something we plan to do when we get a chance. But our resources are focused on other issues right now.

Experimentational result: Firing 3 requests per 30 milliseconds works, at 3 requests per 10 ms i get 503's. So my guestimate is around 100 requests/s.
Caveat: im not very adept at multithreaded programming which is necessary to get such a rate because of the round trip time.

Must I generate a new address each time I want to deposit a DC such as LTC or can I use the same address over and over again.

No, you can use the same address over an over again. But if you create more than 5 deposit addresses, one of them will be set to expire. So if you create more than 5, you have to be careful to make sure you don't send to an expiring address.

Also, why is it 6 confirms to verify a BTC deposit, but 12 for LTC?  LTC confirming faster than BTC is one of the main differences between the two DC's.

This is my understanding of the reason for this: Faster confirmations also mean less proof of work, so we wanted more confirmations for LTC. LTC still takes about half the time for 12 confirmations than does BTC for 6.

Thanks, I really like the site navigation and all the displayed info.

Thanks a lot for posting that link. I can see in the FAQ you say

You can't yet decide which of those addresses will expire but we're working on that.
That would be really useful (we would be able to keep some specific addresses permanently). When will that be available?

Thanks

Are old deposit addresses still valid for depositing? Or only the last one that was generated?

What about the Trading Fee's? Is it going to stay that low, or will it rise to a schedule like MT.GOX (0,6-0,25%)? In the OP you state:
Quote
If you’re among the first, you’re among the brave and we appreciate your patience and help in getting us started. For that, we offer you discounted trading fees, and love, of course—at least during the first month

Obviously we've extended the low fees way beyond the first month, and I haven't heard any discussion of raising them. But that's all I know.

UPDATE: for those who might consider feeding the Kraken with their cryptos.

My latest response from tech support is that "it looks like your problem has been resolved".  Perhaps it looks that way to them because they cleared my balance when they mistakenly marked a stuck transaction as successfully sent.  All i know is i'm out over 100,000 xrp that they still have not broadcast to the network.  And it's been a full week.

That wasn't a response to your ripple withdrawal. It was a response to a ticket you made a long time ago about a bitcoin deposit - and that issue was resolved the day after you made the ticket.

Well maybe you should tell oscar that.  His "problem... resolved" note was attached to my following ticket:

we have a 129k xrp withdrawal stuck, and 300 LTC deposit that never went through. i'm going to hold off on using the site until all this gets cleared.

You're right, I found the ticket - it's the other "problem resolved" one.  Tongue

It was just a mistake by the support agent, and I've reviewed it with him. The LTC issue was resolved, but not the XRP.
