You guys seriously need to drop prices. My both rigs went rented the same minute they got released Smiley

Hi, I'd like to know if you intend to add the possibility to get paid with other crypto than btc when you lease a rig?

I'd like to rent my 4+ Mhs rigs for other recent crypto, Like this fresh Premine coin (pmc) to promote the use of it?

Would it be a lot of work for you?

The only alternative altcoin I was thinking is Litecoin, reason: lower transaction fees for microtransactions.

djeZo: Can you check if modifying time really works?
I've added 30 minutes to my previous rent, but it ended at the original time.  Embarrassed

Did you add it right before lease expired? +

Prices through the roof !!!

Is this new Renaissance of altcoins?

Dont know what's going on, not that I mind such prices as provider Wink

Yeah, but those prices are actually driven by altcoins prices. E.g. Digibytes price increased 3 times during yesterday. Noble, usde also high gains.

Great service. It would be nice if it broke them down by which geographical location the rig was in as well. Keep up the good work.

Saving pool only when new customer comes is not enough. My system would need to save every modification of pools and have the exact same configuration of cgminer (mirrored). It would also need to perform regular checks for all pools to determine if something has changed.

Thanks for getting my rig up for rent so quickly!  A couple of questions:

1. This is my address. If someone does not change it, then payments will go to me directly, so thank you for that Smiley So, you have to change it!  Haha, awesome.

2. When you create renting plans, you simply put in how much someone has to pay for x hours. No complicated math involved. The service then takes best price out of all your plans, performs the calculation according to declared speed and displays that on main page for customers to compare prices easily.  OK, got it.  We all price per MH/s - your system does the math.

3. No, my service does not periodically check for configured pools. I am still investigating whether to do anything about it or not. If crash do happen, I suggest you contact the person who hired you rig and tell him to set pools. Or, you could go with alternative like you proposed on your own - save config.
You might consider adding an option per rig to auto-save config upon getting a new renter.  That way, we can suffer restarts and they'll keep getting the hashes they paid for and we'll be able to offer better service with miner monitoring.

4. Already planned to show that. Currently rented prices are not saved in DB at all, so when I do this change, prices will be visible for new leases after update only. Great, I look forward to the update!

I get an error while signing up - still possible?

What kind of error? Captcha might cause troubles sometimes, just retry... In fact, I just checked logs and there are still few same errors like yesterday when captcha wasn't working...

Neat idea, it's good to see innovation in the mining space. I'll have a rig or 2 pointed leaserig's way as soon as they are built! My only thought would be that an auction system could be useful, though I see that others have already suggested this.

I dedicated a lot of thoughts to this, but at the end concluded I will not do it. The reason is simple; price is NOT the only factor that should be considered. When you sell/buy a coin, price is all that matters. Here, other things are important such as: quality of service, stability, providers tendency to do refund or extra hours if something goes wrong, etc...

I will eventually reorganize first page - free rigs will be at the top and the ones that are going to expire soon will follow - sorting by availability. I will also add additional sorting options such as sorting by best price, and if once I implement rig ratings - sorting by ratings.

Thanks for getting my rig up for rent so quickly!  A couple of questions:

  • What was the original BTC address listed in my main admin section?  I changed it to my own address.  (Should I not have?)
  • Is the rental pricing we set meant to be BTC per 1 MH per time period or should we just be putting in the total cost to rent in BTC per our max hashrate?  In other words, if I want to rent out my 1.45 MH/s rig for 0.02 BTC per MH/s for 24 hours, should my plan show 0.02 or 0.0288?
  • I use CGWatcher to keep an eye on my rig.  If things choke for whatever reason, it restarts the miner.  Does your system ensure it goes back to the renter's pool or will it return to mine?  If it returns to mine, I would suggest having the cgminer.config auto-save with the miner's pool so it will return to service if interrupted.
  • It's great that I can see who rented my rig and what their address is, but it would be cool if it also showed the rental price anywhere besides the main list of everyone's rigs.
