It's looking to me like it's going to take roughly 1.5 hours - not at all sure though. You can watch the progress by watching the file size increase in the blk0001.dat file. It should be roughly the same size as the bootstrap file when finished ... I think. Grin

You can also go to Help/Debug window and watch the Current number of blocks and Last block time under the Information tab.

Mine does not want to open yet. The size is increasing, though, with about 5MB/minute. 1100MB to go

The bootstrap is loaded, so now about 100k blocks to go. This saves me a couple of days of synching.

Question on New Wallet

What is the txleveldb directory for and why is it filling up with *.sst files?

Will the wallet automatically clean up these files when no longer needed or are these files to be left alone?

New Wallet Looks Great ,

Well Done to the Programmer,

Started downloading the blockchain from scratch, once I have it completed.
I will make you a blockchain.zip download that you can just copy into the C:\Users\"[username]"\AppData\Roaming\Mintcoin , it will update the blockchain as soon as it is copied in, no wait time.
You can then either point to the link or place it on your own download site to help new mint users.

Future idea for the next wallet version, on the recurring send , have them try to set a schedule for it .
Basically send at a recurring Date & Time instead of a every so many days.
Like at 10pm on the 15th of each Month and one like every Monday at 1:30am for examples.

Even though that will mean around 2 o'clock in the night for me, I'm writing a paper for my Master so will still be online for that

Ok where is the android wallet and where is the french fund? The two main selling points.

This is a community driven effort and everyone is doing their best. This isn't a closed system by any means. If you see problems then you have just as much power to fix them as anyone else. If your not contributing but just complaining that everyone else isn't working fast enough then you may want to try a new approach.

CONGRATS to everyone on the team regarding the new wallet release today! Roboguy delivers. Cryptomommy spreads the news. Your hard work inspires me to push myself to spend even more time on mint!
