But would they start to mention the cards again if they weren't sure everything would be okay?
Well, there weren’t a lot of crypto cards issued recently in Europe. So the short answer is - the world changed.

But quppy is not the first service to issue crypto cards, why is there so much trouble now?

Yes, that’s the point, I think - there are too many things that can go wrong at any moment.

So the best we can expect is just “it will be ready when it’s ready”?

Most likely they wouldn't. But who can guarantee that the "partners" will not deceive them... Grin
Given the number of organizations that have to be involved in issuing cards - there is no need for malice and deception - an ordinary screw up will be enough.

Well, I've only seen stories about the situation in general and that Quppy cards are already in development - https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/how-european-fintechs-are-surviving-world-pandemic-helping- their-customers-to-do-so-the-quppy-case-1030519007
It will be cool, but still not everything about the issue of cards depends on Quppy, so anything can happen.

I wouldn't blame Quppy for forgetting about development for the sake of promo and marketing. Judging by the news, the platform is being improved quite actively.

This is always a big deal - they could spend the money on further development.

Well, I don’t think that’s a big deal, since Quppy grows quite considerably.

And the most important thing - promotions cost money.

Besides, if you have constant promotions, people may decide that you are just an empty shell and there is nothing good behind it, so you have to use promotions heavily.

Well, Quppy has a lot to offer even without promotions, so I don’t think that they are a major driver for user base growth.

I don’t think that they will launch something immediately. It will look stupid.

So far it looks like Quppy decided to double-down on promotions. Did anybody see what they plan after the free replenishment ends?

Not if they want to grow further, I agree. Fortunately, so far the growth only caused improvements.

We’ll see. Moreover, the competition in crypto is too fierce - Quppy simply can’t afford to get lazy.
