5. I googled "hot fedex girl" and I'm sorry to say, they must not exist.

That's ok. I'm fine with UPS.

She can handle my package anytime!

My package would be too big for her.

That UPS gal was DEFINITELY cuter than my FEDEX gal.

I about shot coffee out of my nose when I saw that post!

Thanks Detritus, that shot of adrenalin was just what I needed this morning.

(But now I gotta' go change t-shirts...)

Thanks for the feedback Dave! I've got 2 Aug orders that I'd like to combine
(I'll email Yvonne with the order numbers). I'd really like to use the expedited
delivery service. Were you serious about us sending you our own account's
express shipping labels? If so, how are we to initiate that process? If we DO
send you our own labels, do we need to pay the $199?

Whatever the case, I applaud you for not going down the HIGH SHIPPING COST
avenue. It speaks volumes about Bitfury's corporate integrity.

(Now if I can just get you to put Oct chip reels back up for $60K...)

Thanks again,

Rusty

I sent my request earlier in the day for my order.
Hopefully no mess ups, lol Wink
Trying to figure out how to use my work's UPS account . lol.. shhhh

I don't think those are the correct chips she is holding.
Could be worth a trade though, lol.

you guys that are jumping into buying these and other large hash machines should punch some numbers in one of the online calculators. Before the end of the summer the difficulty will be at at least 100 million and over 200 million before years end. The get rich scheme will not happen, on the contrary, some of you will never recover the invested money

Thanks bro. That had not occurred to me. A calculator you say, huh?

Wonder why none of us thought about doing something like that?  What an amazing concept, eh?

I paid for the Expedited Shipping of my 5 x August 25gh/s Kits.

The total cost in BTC was 1.7871BTC.
A little over $220.00 at the time of invoice.

I'm guessing the BTC is at a fixed number.

Shipping to Salt Lake City UT (860mi):

FedEx Ground: $9.01, 2 business days
USPS Standard Post: $11.64, 8 calendar days
USPS Priority Mail: $12.97, 2 calendar days

USPS Priority Mail Express: $34.08, 1 calendar day
FedEx Priority Overnight: $60.64, 1 business day

Priority Mail Express as above would be great with a reasonable handling charge - not your quoted rate of

Hi guys - expedited shipping is up on the site.  I decided to offer one option only - for $199 we will ship any order of any size overnight (or international expedited).  Please no credit cards for August orders - this must be paid in advance.  If you want to use your credit card for October orders, please wait until I get the CC processing in place.

Here's the particulars:

This flat fee will upgrade your shipping to Priority Express overnight if you are in the US, or Global Express if you are International.

We estimate this shipping will provide a 1-3 business day shipping time.

***All packages require signature on delivery***  Make sure you track your package and make arrangements to sign for it!

We will make every effort to combine your orders if quantities allow.

Please order (1) Expedited Delivery per order you want to expedite.

I don't want to get screwed like I did with BFL's outrageous overcharge for shipping.

I have a rarely-used FedEx account, which gets me a 4% discount on ground shipments and 15% on express. Dave might have an account with UPS or FedEx that gets him a better discount. But using mine, here's a comparison for the example of 5 lb from Everett WA to NYC NY (2870mi):

FedEx Ground: $10.55, 7 calendar days (5 business days)
USPS Standard Post: $14.20, 8 calendar days
USPS Priority Mail: $15.30, 2 calendar days ($18.70 if not in flat-rate box)

USPS Priority Mail Express: $39.87, 1 calendar day
FedEx Priority Overnight: $71.10, 1 business day

Good points Keefe, glad you brought that up!

There is a HUGE difference in between USPS Standard Post and USPS Priority Mail.
As I have a pretty standard online account, I get discounts on Priority mail that I DO NOT get on the slower parcel post (standard mail).  Often it is more expensive for me to ship slower then faster.  Past a certain weight FEDEX ground is cheaper and faster then parcel post, so I just don't use super slow parcel post much.  Really the slowest standard that people use is UPS ground which is up to 5 business days or one week and less if the package starts in the middle of the country.

In my posts above, I used the commercial (i.e. usps.com, Endicia, Stamps.com, etc) price for Priority. Standard only has a retail price, but it looks like Parcel Select is the commercial equivalent and is just about the same price as retail Standard.

Wow! I just checked the speed of USPS Standard Post from Everett WA to Salt Lake City UT (860 miles), and it's also 8 days! And only $1.33 cheaper than USPS Priority Mail (2 days) for 5 pounds (not using any flat-rate box). Please spend that extra $1.33 by default!

I just got one starter kit, $199 seems a lot for me shipping to Canada. If I don't choose the expedited shipping, so it will be just standard shipping?

For the Canadian and other international orders, we are still waiting for details on expedited shipping. I have emailed Yvonne as you suggested Dave, but have not heard anything back.

Fedex international priority would be the preferred option, as it provides true overnight service from a US drop point to a Canadian destination.
