Thank you for the answer, but still no luck.

My einsteinium.conf looks like this now:

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=41879
port=41878
maxconnections=100
addnode 98.115.147.74:41878

I also closed client before editing and beforu I start it again I deleted peers.dat

Anything more I can do?

Added from first post but problem persists. Anyting else?

Blockchain snapshot is the best way to sync up. (You'll need to find it on the list)

--- Wallet work is coming along and with it the amendment of the IP addresses, which died since 2015. We are going to hassle all our friends from around the world to run a node for us, which will solve the No Block Source issue for new wallets.

Installed on Windows, but it shows "No block source availible"
What to do?

Have you added the node text file? If not, just add the nodes.

Thanks for the walktrough,

But Im using minera on a raspberry-pie

Is that possible too?

Yes, You have to point your rig to a wallet pc if not where are you going to send the coins you mine?

If you want to solo mine just with a raspberry pi you need to install the wallet in it that it is a bit more complicated than installing it on Windows pc.

Right now i use my deposit adress at bittrex as my walet..
So Im not running my own walet...

In order to solo mining you need the wallet running and opened in server mode and a miner (rig) pointing to this wallet. Is the only way to do it. When you mine in a pool you are using the pool´s wallet, after mining the pool send the coins to the address you chose.

Indeed, solo mining needs to be pointed at a desktop wallet.

...
Supernova is working properly again!

Thanks for the update.

In other news: Some of you may have noticed the website links are pointed at www.emc2.foundation. -- WIP -- site.
(OP updated with link to this wallet as well) Until we host the wallet again ... here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjlvp9s02248hup/einsteinium-qt-latest.zip

EMC2 is still alive? if yes means is great and very profitable.

Very much so.

Where can I find a mining pool, and where can I mine solo?

https://emc2.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Suprnova is the only one left now and is actually the entire hash rate of EMC2. -  And they seem to be having issues.
We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

Just this morning we have been looking at Scrypt Asic prices and looking to bring some miners to balance out.

https://asicminermarket.com/product/pre-a4-135-scrypt-litecoin-miner-low-power/ - in stock.

https://www.ehsminer.com/product/asic-scrypt-litecoin-miner-1024-mhs/ - Shipping Schedule: Estimated shipment date: Q2/Q3 2017.

----

I am aware of some folks asking about how to set up pool, and I have no answer as yet, but like many things we are looking for someone who knows more about it.
Solo mining is hard unless you have at the very least 20MH/s, current hash is 450MH/s.

Just a note....asicminermarket is located in china, I'd maybe shy from them. Innosilicon claims to have NO resellers of new.
Besides the a4 - 280mH is currently $1600 US      http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a4-miner/

Im still interested in einsteinium so I pointed my miner to supernova. It seems to be working, but it does not show how much I earned, let's hope they fix that... I found at least one block with my miner already

What would be the way to go solo mining? I guess there is no pool for solo-mining right now?

News:

Website hosting has expired and we are moving to a new host and the site will be managed by Blue Lab Inc.

Sponsorship of CoinFest UK in April is going ahead. I'm thinking of holding a presentation perhaps (this will depend on stage of development reached)

Thanks for the price rise whales.

Think that is all for the moment ...

PS: Just realised something ... http://coinmarketcap.com/ ... shit coins (rank 90 to 100 on cap) are at $1mil cap again .. unseen since 2014 days. So I guess EMC2 is going to become a shit coin .. onwards to $1meeelliiion dollahs ... Cheesy

Seems like bad timing to me, not having a website during your giveaway at cryptogiveaway...

you advertise your site there but the link says site is suspended...

Most people won't go looking here to see why the site is offline but just assume something is wrong with the coin...

A multi-algo fork could be interesting if we find the right dev to fork the coin. This aspect will be discussed with the community when the time comes.

hey emc2 look on the edge to be on track again  Smiley

also Just see its still on scrypt algo,did you consider update it to asic resistant one day?

Hey hey, we have given that some thought. I am aware that GPU miners are kings of this game after all Smiley

However, it would require someone who knows how to pull that off without breaking everything in the process and those are few and far between.
If I'm not mistaken it would most likely require a swap or hard fork of some sort, which is never fun.
