7k it amounts a lot participant for a short time, the community is indeed very necessary for a project to help support the development as well as expand the network. I'm sure there are many enthusiasts who want to know more about this project.

Consensys Partnership can lead to many great opportunities. Laneaxis is going on the right track as far as i can See.

It's honestly the first time i hear about this and i had to google it https://new.consensys.net it seems certainly better than nothing.

Better then nothing? They have a tons of followers and if they spread the word, people will actually listen and don't write it off as an advertisement.

I've heard about it before. Looks like a great opportunity to attract people to the project.
the partnership with Consensys in my opinion is a good result and an excellent additional advertising opportunity and a possibility to reach a lot of people who were not aware of the project yet...
I'm sure with time Leneaxis project will receive other partners, Consensys - good start!  Team did excellent job, reaching partnership in this difficult crypto time.
This is an useful partner for sure.Any other partnership like this one they can find will be welcome.
Accurate, especially if there are partnerships with different purposes that allow the gradual growth of the project, such as those related to platform security and similar

If I read correctly, the AXIS Tokens live on Ethereum while the tracking data is on a different immutable blockchain ledger. Where can I find any technical details about that ledger? Or is it still in concept stage?

Just found this interesting project.

"Our patented processes are built on blockchain technology, the new standard in software development."

Grin I dont agree, that blockchain is the new standard in software development. Many projectd would run fine with a simple database, but maybe in this project it makes sense to use a blockchain. Will dig deeper into the patent to understand what is so special about it.

In my opinion blockchain (right now) is about a couple of things. If you need something to make borderless and trustless transaction, registered forever on the ledger, or smart contracts if you need to automate data/currencies transactions without the need of a third party

Exactly.. it's all about trustless .. that's the keyword in everything regarding blockchain tech.
People don't trust their peers by default, so that's why we need verification systems like blockchain, in which we don't need a third party.. just a distributed ledger.

I think the point here is to functionally link the smart contracts and the software platform Laneaxis. That is, as an example, when executing an order, the smart contract serves as a trigger for transferring the money to the carrier, and all conditions in the Laneaxis database are monitored. And this partner, as I understand it, is engaged in applications of blockchain for business. Maybe I'm wrong.

If you put it like that, it sounds like Laneaxis is hiring ConenSys to consult them about blockchain business and maybe even build software for them. The Laneaxis team only has a VP of Blockchain Integrations, a Senior Blockchain Engineer and a Blockchain Data Scientist. Compare that to the ConsenSys team. https://consensys.net/team/

Lol impressive team, I guess that they will even build software for them, especially writing smart contracts which is not an easy task, a single bug and people lose money (like happened so many times already, especially with ERC20 contracts)
That sound like inteligent solution in case they are not experts in this kind of area. Better to hire some experts before having big problems in the future.

Many companies outsource this kind of work, it's usually cheaper and safer, since as you guys said - one bug is enough to bring a lot of damage.

That's common sense. Successfull projects surround themselves with experts in their field.
That's the way to become very successfull. You don't need to know everything, you just need to find the right people (eg Henry Ford).

You are right, they do not need to make absolutely everything alone - for this it is easier to hire specialists in certain fields, there must be responsible people in order not to make mistakes.

Seems like a promising project. Is anyone able to verify team? And why you guys need patent in open source space?

Have you read the patent? It's about how their platform works, not how the underlying open source tech works, and i don't think that it even mentions blockchain once because it's the underlying tech, not the platform itself. And this is a business based on their platform so it's perfectly understandable to have a patent for it.

But i am just speculating, please correct me if i am wrong.

Correct, I read it too and I don't remember reading about blockchain in it. I don't understand why, maybe because they can't patent the ethereum's blockchain? It make sense if you think

I think it should bring even more value now that it doesn't have blockchain mentioned in the patent. I'm not really a tech specialist, so correct me if I'm wrong.
In any case, the existence of a patent makes this project better than others, no one in the future can create something like that.
