I have 100m nyc i a wallet that worked fine untill june/july. Now I have tryed the old wallet, it workes fine but no confirmations, nothing happens despite 4 other conections. I have tryed the new wallet, it wont present the wallet, it presents new empty wallets every time I start it. I have tryed the faucet, it dont work, not in my wallet and not in the blockchain. I have the correct block, I have done rescan. Suggestions?

I personally would focus on BittRex, Cryptopia, and Novaexchange. For me those work perfect

Npks, I agree. If others beside allknowingeye (and her multiple monikers) are having ANY problems with anything NYC (new or old) then we ALL need to know. And remedy immediately!

This coin will grow from real world use, real world visibility, local NYC support but at this point the takeoff will not come from this message board (and certainly not allknowingeye/JOAC/?/?/? confusion posts).

This board is where new "investors" need to FIND truth and facts about NewYorkCoin . Not disinformation shenanigans by a bored troll.

If you have been coding since the 70's and an original miner (I don't remember you participating in NYC...) then why have you sat back and watched NewYorkCoin stagnate. Why have you offered NYC FOUNDATION zero support? Why do YOU seem to be the ONLY person having problems with new wallet, pool, etc. Why do you stick up for your other monikers? NewYorkCoin needs help. Not elementary level distraction techniques. Help NYC. Stop being a clown!

allknowingeye seems to be having ALL of the problems here. Seems to have 2-3 monikers that always arrive and leave at the same time. Kinda odd coincidence. So it appears we have a troll  Cry

Why are you attacking anyone who provides what should be considered valuable feedback. Not only am I not a troll, I have years upon years of experience in this business. And have been mining this coin for years unlike yourself, and participating in communities and coins across the spectrum. And coding since the 70's.

You can put all the ALL CAPS bullshit out you want but there are issues that need to be dealt with. No you are not going to hear from a lot of people because almost everyone doesn't give a shit about this coin, obviously I do or I would not waste my time despite the attitude I am getting. We need less ALL CAPS bullshit and more fixing of problems or this coin is going nowhere.

Pool payout is an issue that will only be seen a very few because despite what you said there is only 2 or 3 people mining on that pool. Sometime it shows 6 but 4 of them are me. So despite what you say about that POOL getting massive hash it is in fact being ignored by almost everyone. 90% of the Hash is coming from one person.

If your goal is to drive away anyone who gives a shit - keep it up - without those who DO give you a shit you haven't got anything.

I think you need to apologize to myself and JOAC for your uncalled for attacks.

ANYBODY else having a problem with new wallet syncing, new wallet solo-mining or pool payout???

Anybody else?

My wallet, totally synchronized from scratch. No problem.

My wallet is open 24 hours a day! Ranging from 3 to 5 nodes

I'm not mining

Test to withdraw and deposit CoinGather, confirmed! Smiley

UPDATE:
NYC developer is setting up official NewYorkCoin mining pool. Should be ready within the week.

There is no contact information for that pool at all. I have received no payouts in 24 hours and I want to know where my coins are. I would be happy to contact them but there is no contact email or anything. I would suggest no one use this pool until it starts actually working and paying out.

I get really pissed when I put hash that is costing me electricity against a pool and get NO PAYOUT.

FROM NYC DEVELOPER:

newyorkc.conf
rpcuser=nycuser
rpcpassword=somepass
rpcport=18823
addnode=107.155.190.222
addnode=188.138.84.235

For the new version however, the file needs to be named 'newyorkcoin.conf'
For solo-mining, must specify:
rpcbind=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

Try above for solo mining with new wallet. Please post your results.

I made those changes and it still does not work - miner is unable to contact (no it is not a firewall issue). Started the old wallet up and off it goes just fine.

My pool is still on the older wallet.  Can you guys sanity check the chain with the block hashes below?

I have seen no payout from the new pool today, unfortunately it has most of the hash, smart people would switching to the Hobbyist's pool on the old wallet until the new wallet is proven. I should have been receiving coinage every 30 minutes as it is significant hash I am putting on the new pool and haven't got squat.

Edit:  Just did a test transaction with coingather and it went through without issues.  They must be on this chain.

It appears my new wallet was looking at a fork.

I copied my old wallet file, and updated the new wallet config file to match the old one. And now it appears the new wallet is be looking at the correct chain. I was able to send a test transaction to Coinshare, and it arrived ok. I put some hash back on that NOMP Pool a while ago, but have not yet seen any payout - will keep watching.

Still can't solo mine to the new wallet however.

To see how things were going I closed down my old wallet, and opened it in the new version, and watched as a whole shitload of mined coins disappeared in the millions.

Something is not right with that, yes I am pissed.

Faucet provides 500 free NYC per day

Tried it, received nothing. Beginning to wonder if that new wallet is on fork by itself? I will not use that wallet until there is more evidence it works.
