If you are trying to send 21+ million coins is the amount box flashing red? If so you hit a limit in the v1 wallet, there is a new build here that should remove that limit: https[Suspicious link removed]

That's what i am getting the box flashes red but i am only trying to transfer 21603 WAS

I sent all my coins in 20mil blocks. Or you can update the client that MrData provided that removes the issue. Depending on how many coins you have, going in block of 20mil would work.

Have you followed the instruction on the main website? http://www.was.club/coinswap.html

These instructions are for after WeAreSatoshi v1 hits block 517,200; do not attempt before then.
Coin Swap Instructions
Important Notes:
Note 1: Do not attempt to swap WAS v1 to v2 by withdrawing from an exchange or online wallet, you must be using the 0.8.99.9 software wallet!
Note 2: If the amount of WAS v1 or the amount of WAS v2 that would be issued is less than the coin TX fee * 2 (0.0002 in both cases) then it will be ignored by the swap software.
Note 3: If you forget to enter a WAS v2 address or enter an invalid address (such as accidentally entering a WAS v1 address) your coins will be returned to you automatically.

Swap Directions:
Step 1: Open your WAS v1 client and select the Send tab.
Step 2: Put your new WAS v2 address in the 'Transaction comment' box. [You can find this in your WAS v2 client.]
Step 3: Put WQ3QSkqNiXGzu6xLSaeujccRRcUaPtEwxx in the 'Pay To' box.
Step 4: Put the amount you want to swap in the 'Amount' box.
Step 5: Click the Send button.
Step 6: Wait for the coins to get 10 confirms, you should receive your new WAS v2 within a few minutes at a 1000:1 ratio.

Kudos to MrData for the flawless swap. The return feature is way slick and I've converted all my WAS!!! You're DaMan MrData. Cheesy

Thank you so much for the fast responds. We have a few more pools to spread the hash.

I've got the WAS v1 wallet accepting miners, I'm not familiar with whether or not the wallet allows multiple miners to attach, but when the public pools drop, to help continue to block chain until everyone decides v1 doesn't need the hashing power, I've got http://50.78.177.185:8920 -u merval -p x

Does anyone have instructions on how to load the WAS v1 wallet so that miners can mine off of it? it looks like all the pools are dropping offline soon..

So far I have a wearesatoshi.conf file with the following in it:

daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=x
port=8921
rpcport=8920
rpcallow=*

But I can't seem to get connected to it.

It should be rpcallowip=* instead of rpcallow=*. Also make sure the miner is pointed to the RPC port 8920 versus the P2P port 8921. (And no stratum+tcp:// or anything, either just the ip:port in your miner config or http://ip:port/)

Hi folks it seems like i am to late to transfer my v1 to my v2 wallet so my question is
is the v1 coin worth anything or it is a dead coin? thanks for the help.

The swap has only been going on for a day, there is still plenty of time to swap to v2.

I've got 5Ghs pointed at the ispace WAS v1 pool to help ensure the blocks keep moving.

Thanks for helping.  Just remember that the problem isn't so much a lack of hash power, but an inconsistent amount of it...  Once you turn off your 5 Ghs, the block chain will inevitably stall while it readjusts.  Hopefully, you're keeping that 5 Ghs online for a while though!   Wink

Yeah, it'll sit here hashing away for as long as you need. :-)  lol and i thought these USB miners would be worthless. :-P

I have just requested Ccex to add the new version to their exchange. I will let you know if they add it any time soon.

14,116,888,428 WAS has been exchanged now Smiley (42% of all v1 WAS minted.)

That is pretty good for 1 day.
