Free coins from airdrops would be profitable if you join hundred times per aidrop but its prohibited so dont do it or you will get ban.
If the airdrop is legitimate it will be profitable but some of them are just scam so be careful.
In general most of these airdrops are very very profitable, for the dev that is..

Some profit will bring profit for you like POStoken, participants receive avg 10 POStoken each, about 8$ right after airdrop and 5$ now.
i think Airdrop is a fast way to get a large number of users, and it's easy to get a strong community, so that coins will be scattered and fair

For those who decide to start involve in crypto from zero (no capital), I think airdrops are better than faucets. I think it still worth it with some notes. The project should be the high-quality one. Get token then if it has a good price, I prefer to sell it to get ETH, and holding ETH can be a bridge to buy another coins, can be BTC, BCH or the others. I can say it, because I start earning from faucets and switch to be airdrop hunter. I think it's better than repeatly hitting your mouse to solve captcha or claiming hourly or rolling games.

I already received couple of free coins, i am planning to save them to increase in number, if their value for me is not good enough. If the time is right and the value is quite good for me, then some of the free coins i received is sold or converted in the exchanger sites. Mostly airdrops send tokens days after the registration ends, some are sent within a minute or seconds after registration, but mostly after the end of an ICO. So better wait and take your time filling out forms correctly to increase probability of getting some free tokens because filling out forms with an incorrect data will result of your account being disqualified in the airdrop.
Is Airdrops profitable? The answer is yes. Because we are given money for free. Only by filling out a form, we can get tokens that have a market price. Whatever the Airdrop form, make sure to follow all the Airdrop projects. The point is nothing to lose.
Yes it will be profitable if you got tokens that are profitable and sell it with the best price as soon as it dont dump. Take IPY as an example (an airdropped token) it launched into etherdelta and I got 2000 IPY. It reached to 100$ value price but I didnt sell cause it really looks legit, whitepaper has really been worked hard. And all of a sudden the dev ran away and all social media links are disabled. And my 2000 ipy is now only 2$ lol. So just sell all the tokens you can have and invest it to more reputable projects or coins. Just an advise cause almost 98% of airdrops right now are scammy and trashy. Btw, goodluck to your journey. Lessons are ahead.
For sure, airdrop is profitable because you have spent nothing to receive the coin, so it is a profit for you, it might also be advantageous to the company issuing airdrop, because it creates awareness for their project, there is an airdrop going on at the moment, you can search for Crypto Afrik Asset token CAA if you want to join the airdrop.
Airdrops can be profitable given that it is an authentic one. But there are several illegitimate airdrops nowadays that just gather personal infos and donations from people. Authentic ones will likely give you profit if their tokens' price is high, so it still depends on which airdrop you are joining. There are new tokens that are given away for free but has little or low amounts giving an insignificant return.
It will be profitable if you cheated,you can join airdrops multiple times without being tracked but thats bad so dont try it.
Most of these airdrops are scams. You can's get anything free. If it is free money, it is not that valuable.
you just need to be in the right place in the right time because some of those airdrops will be converted into a great cash, look what happen to ebtc that's oneof the example where free money become valuable and even those early coins that was introduce for just an airdrop time comes and they got their value after

The current airdrop project is not particularly tricky. Because most of the items dropped by air will not give you the currency, most of them are deceptive, seldom appear boutique airdrop
I tried few airdrops and none of them has a value on exchanges. Now i don't get into any airdrops but i like bounties.

I agree with some users - airdrops may be profitable. Im using AirDropAlert to find interesting airdrops and I already have about $200 in free tokens/coins. Experty is having an airdrop right now and I think it's a really good project that may be worth something in the near future
Maybe I am joining a bit late these days. but lately, for the airdrop I joined, there is not many profitable ones. Most of them involves making us work to promote the coin with lots of effort but the return just doesn't worth wasting your time
With so many frauds around us I am not a big fan of airdrops but there are better ways to earn some. daily trading can be helpful but you will need to invest some money to start the business. Daily trading can rise your funds but demands lot of time and effort. another element is whether you are fortunate or not.
For every step you take of airdrop, atleast you'll catch 50% that are profitable. Or if you, lucky, it's 100% real. 50% or less, it'll count as profitable. Like, come on. It's airdrop. You don't lose anything, anyway.
