I am totally agree with you ,Why a successful gambler need to addict when he/she is successful on it .However we all know gambling is very risky to earn money and when you are successful you have enough money .When you have enough money coming from gambling you don’t need to search another way of living .You also have enough time to spend on different ways and also pass time with family .On ther hand if your successful on gambling it could be a addiction for you to continiously doing it and loose your money on it.So i think it could be a passive income for you not to be addiction and try another way for living .It helps you not to addict on gambling .

Addiction and success, I think, don't go well together.
