The fact that,  no matter what the level of your self discipline,  as long as you gamble excessively,  you are already an addict,  the only difference between the so called successful and the cure addicts who become overly indebted die to they non controlled gambling and spending that make them ruin in the first place and the only differences between both is that the successful gambler have money to sponsor his addictions.

Unlike normal addicts who may have become broke due to the fact that they borrowed and have spent family savings on gambling and may be in the financial worst positions,  so this is what differentiates the two characters from each other.

The gambler who play for the longer period already get addicted to the gambling,So the gambler who had their continuous game,the other players seems this like the gambler as the gambling addicted person.But some gamble will play for the longer period to understand the game at the beginning stage.But the gambling addicted person had some advantage of predict the game by the use of their gambling addiction.Some successful gambler should try to teach the less experienced gambler and become the parent of the gambler winning by sharing your experience to the gambler win to the new game.

most probably, these gamblers have one way or another experienced addiction at one point in their lives. but people have their own approach in addressing their addiction. so some got out successfully, and learned to manage their gambling activities to their own advantage.
whereas, a lot are still struggling to get out from their holes owed to their financial troubles. if you won't address your gambling situation, you will absolutely give yourself a desperate life that you would want to be in at all cost.

gamblers faced addiction during at primary stage of their gambling. Afterward, whom who manage to overcome it , only become turn into a successful gambler. On such stage, there's no place for deep addiction for a game cause that could be force them to do uncertain stake which is out of a successful gambler's rules. But maybe they feel addiction at some point as you said but that is for short time and they also manage it by their next wise step after lose any game.

Yes, and actually the number of successful people in gambling is so small that it might as well be considered zero.

It's weird that people don't consider these things and put a lot of money in the table, knowing that the casino has an edge.

I guess it's the stories of the few winners that keep the rest motivated.

Either win or lose, a gambler can be addicted based on his behavior and how he likes to gamble. Most likely a gambler becomes more addicted when he's losing more because of the mindset that he wants to take back those losses and that's making him want to gamble more.

Yeah, that's the matter for those gamblers that have huge losses. They just can't back off and stop because all is on their mind is to recover those losses. It's hard to get on track when that's what they've been thinking of. It's like not just an achievement but it's so hard to accept losses that include money on it.

What's harder is that a gambler has a bigger problem due to the fact that he even lost his salary. That's gonna take a long time or maybe a week or two for him to recover that losses through his salary. And even he gets a new salary, that won't change the fact that he is still on losses.

That's why win or loss, someone can be addicted to gambling based on how he sees the results. Whether both of them are acceptable or not, there's the ego that we feel that pushes us to go back and chase losses.

Not only a gambler become addicted by winning but a gambler can also become addicted to gambling due to loss. I have seen some people who want to quit gambling but they can't because they have a lot of losses that they want to recover. If he withdraws from gambling at this point, it is not easy to quickly recover his lost money through other jobs. But he is losing more money than he is trying to recover his lost money. Gambling can become addictive even if one wins and has the potential to become addicted even if one loses. A successful gambler is not addicted. Very few people in gambling become successful.

The casino will win more money than gambler A or B because the casino owns the gambling business. Gamblers A and B may alternately win, but their winnings will not be much larger than what the casino gets. So gamblers A and B must know they can only enjoy gambling as entertainment and will not chase the win for the sake of winning.

It is not surprising that some people can make money from gambling, especially in sports betting, because they can analyze each match well so they manage to win a lot of money. Meanwhile, other people will not be able to follow it because it will depend on their ability to analyze each match. So it is clear that if a person really masters one or more sports, he may have a greater chance of winning than others. It will depend on each person overcoming boredom because I think many people will try hard to have money if it is about money. And it is gambling where there is prize money for the winners so many people still want to gamble and win some money for them.

If gamblers reach the peak level and do not become addicted, they may already be successful gamblers who do not experience any problems in reaching the peak level. But that is different from most gamblers who try to reach the peak level but instead, they become addicted to gambling and it is their fault because they do not have self-control as a barrier to prevent gambling addiction. Everything will have consequences that we must be aware of to consider the risks and prevent the risks from becoming greater. We know that to become a successful gambler requires many things and experiences that they have accumulated over time and they can continue to learn to control themselves because in gambling, there will be many temptations to continue gambling.

A successful gambler has more abilities than most gamblers in that they can prevent themselves from becoming addicted to gambling and manage their finances, which will be used for gambling. They also won't be interested in pursuing victory, especially if they see no chance for them to win. They would prefer to continue gambling on another day because it might bring them greater luck to win more money. Maybe they have gone through their bad days as a gambler and managed to overcome all their problems so that they can gamble without the burden of winning but can win more than other gamblers. What is more important is that they can prevent themselves from experiencing gambling addiction, which has become a serious problem for all gamblers because of the excellent self-control they have learned while gambling.

Successful gamblers are to those gamblers who do really be able to make money and i would say that they arent considered addicts knowing that once you do come into a state or moment on which you are already that knowing on how to handle your bankroll or finances with gambling or simply having those management then i would say that you had already passed up on that condition on which you have already that get addicted because addicted people would really be that doing those bad decisions in regarding their fund handling and mostly messed up with their lives.
This is what i do call addiction on which on the time that you had made yourself getting wrecked with gambling but wasnt really be that able to do the right thing.
On the time that you had already recovered on such addiction and ended up on making  yourself that good or professional on gambling then i dont really considered it out to be addicted anymore
but rather they are the ones who are people who had learned their lessons and caught up according into it.

The gambler who get the benefit most of the time will get addicted to the gambling games.The gambling successful person with many winning from the gambling will get more curiosity towards the game.Some they use the winning money again to the gambling,So finally they become the gambling addicted by the continuous wins.But assuming the successful gambler to the addict was not the correct way of approach.So it’s better to assume the gambling addict alone as addicts is essential one.

Assuming that successful gamblers are addicts, that means for a gambler to climbed to top headed position, he will be converted to an addicts, whereas I don't concord with this statement because there's basically numerous gamblers in the system that have reached peak levels without entangling to be addicted to gambling. Everything one keen on achieving is possible, all we need is just consistency and determination to make our dreams come through, if gambler can be able to spot out the significant odds that would appreciate with time, it means there's strong standing on earning good from the space.

I have seen a few that hated gambling as well, it was like a job because in the end it IS their job to make money that way. These were people who played poker online and a few that played sports betting as well. One guy was master at volleyball live games, he knew how the game would go, and betting allows you to guess how many points a set would have, he looked at first or at worst second set and made a deduction and bet big on the third set and almost always won, ne retired and started working in some other job. Imagine it, there are so many people who lose money while gambling and they still kept on going, and this dude was making a killing, making probably 5x more money every month than his current salary and he quit.

Sometimes, when it becomes a job, everything could become boring. You can think of the most fun job you can think of, imagine the greatest job there is, but when that turns into a job, I bet that it becomes very boring in the end.

That would just be random then, basically a gambler A winning more times than a gambler B is just random.

But in the end, even if the gambler A wins more, the casino will win even more, so the gambler will end up losing some or all their money.

That's just how it works, it's math and probabilities in games designed by the casino, which is just maximizing their wins.

Successful gamblers can be as you say, but some say that successful gamblers win more often than other gamblers. They can regulate their gambling and not be as passionate as other gamblers. And they can get the win but don't chase the win like other people. They can stop thinking there is still another win when they have already won.

This group of successful gamblers who have been gambling for years can make more money than other gamblers. They can learn from their mistakes and estimate their chances if they continue gambling. They will not be greedy in expecting another win and can think about when they should stop, especially after getting their win. They can also enjoy their winnings more often than other gamblers because they can stop on time after winning.

They can prevent their gambling addiction and are not tempted by other promotions. They think they have to control their thoughts so they don't become addicted to gambling.

Successfully gamblers can also be seen with some level of relativity, personally I could say there are two types of this successful gamblers, one are those who happens to gat a big win once and quit gambling after wards, they could possibly be considered successful because they got a level of success and went on to build on it in a different venture.

Another class of successful gamblers could be seen as those have gotten some level of experience over the years and have got a strategy with which they gamble that usually turns out profitable for them most often than it turns against them, this people are successful and still in the act to consolidate on their success, now observing carefully you would see that the first set of successful gambler's were lucky and immediately discontinued

This is because they don't want to get to point nof addiction because they don't have a pattern with which they gamble they were only lucky at a shot , while the second do have a system with which they use to continually stay consistent and successful making it easy for them to keep their habit under control and not possibly get addicted.

I believe that a person loves his job only if he creates something with his actions. And then he can be forgiven huge dates of time and effort for this activity. But if a person just sits in front of roulette or bingo for days, then, of course, this will mean that he likes this activity, but in the end it will be disastrous for him.

And again, I would like to single out poker as a separate type of gambling, I believe that it is permissible to engage in it for many hours a day, because there is mathematics, calculation, emotions, and I consider it the most serious kind among all types of gambling.

But if it is a gambling addiction, it will only give them problem after problem, especially if they don't understand when they should stop gambling and just want to gamble. The big difference between successful gamblers and gamblers who are addicted to gambling is that there is no self-control when gambling. There are no clear boundaries regarding the use of money and time so gamblers who are addicted to gambling only spend their time gambling. Even though he still has other things he can do to reduce his time gambling.

And yes, someone who is addicted can lose many things in their life including their family. Meanwhile, successful gamblers can still enjoy their lives well and still have the money they earn from gambling. He can also do other interesting things that can benefit him more.

There is a massive difference between doing what you love and simply being addicted, the most obvious one and probably the most important is that those that do what they love obtain benefits out of the activity they love, and I am not really talking just about money, they are also happier with their life and that shows on their actions and their overall mood.

While someone that is addicted is not only losing money due to their behavior, they will also lose their good mood, time, peace of mind, their job, friends and even their family.

Yes, but at the end of the day you could have a naive gambler that played a crappy game that has high odds for the casino, and still managed to win because of luck.

On the other hand, an experienced gambler playing a game like blackjack which has a lower advantage to the casino might lose their entire stack.

It's true that skill might be needed, but at the end of the day it is still a random event.

As much as luck remains the primary determinant of a gamblers fate, we could still bank some on skill as, there are a few games that uses a bit of skill and know well in a fair play situation to determine who wins. Games such as we have in sports betting. It’s almost normal for the elite teams to take the lead and shine on every time with some few cases where you can have even an almost relegated team come up with some surprises and be the victor.

Another game for the casino board games is the game of poker and even blackjack. Play your cards right and you just might find yourself winning impressively.
