Yes, I'm always accumulating big bags of my favorites. If they dip even more, I buy even more of my favorite long term coins.
Yup currently market is red and its good time to invest in multiple coins like ETH,ALT,Litecoin,XRP,ADA,NEO.Prices are down invest in these coins hold for some time when prices are high sell them.Long term investment is important in ETH,as many successful projects are on way in supporting ETH,so ETH price would go very high.Short term investment in ALT,LTC,XRP,ADA,NEO is a good investment strategy.Price of BTC is higher so make a wise decision to invest in altcoins,and invest your profit again,in this way you can multiple your investment.
I bought yesterday #tix. I saw a strong support level near the price "5900". It seems to me that the coin will rise in price. Altcoin are interesting for short and medium term investments.

I too used to be afraid to buy an altcoin. But then I began to study coins and I realized which coins to invest and which ones to not. I recommend that you study coins in order to invest correctly. 
I bought Ethereum, Monero and Ripple in the beginning of the year and holding since then and right now my entire focus is only on bitcoins and I am trying to buy as much as I can and will wait for the year end to sell my bitcoins at higher price.
