my experience has done both and I am currently not implementing both because I already have experience that can make lessons to be able to earn profit every day you can apply daily trading even though you gain a little at least you can grow the assets you have. yes right I prefer to do short term trading.

So far I became a longterm trader but since January 2018 I see an unstable market situation right now I am a short term trader,
I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your target price? Thanks.
I would recommend you to buy bitcoin for the long term, at least for 1-2 years. And altcoins, buy for a few months. Let's say you bought tokens on ICO. The coins were listed. This coin started pampite and the price went up. that's it at this point and you need to sell it.
It's bear market, so most of the people are long-term holders. No doubt, because of all short-term cut loss already
I want to hold my coins as long as possible, but in life there may be circumstances when I urgently need fiat money. So, I can sell some of my coins at a low price and then I will regret it.
Currently the market price of bitcoin has dropped very drastically, maybe at this time I will not sell it because the price is not so good. Maybe this is the right time to hold the bitcoin first, we wait for the right moment to sell it. So that what we want will be achieved, the high price.

In business there's always better way where we can invest and for me the best is investing in long term because this is not risky and if ever the market fluctuate you don't need to worry cause anytime it will rise back in the right time.
first we have to select some long term gems rather than short term coins.Surely we can target minimum 10x from them.But patience is must.If we got popper profit from them,we have to tight our mind to sell all and,research for another gem.This is my personnel idea.But surely working.

Selling before your target price or selling at a loss is not wise. If you buy the dip, waiting until price is up will give you good profit. I hold my coins until they reach a reasonable target to sell.
For me i prefer long term because i don't have time to monitor the up/down trend of the market. And this investment is my preparation of my retirement.
Personally, I prefer to take a long one. But if the token suddenly grows rapidly in price, then I sell it

I really believe that the best strategy is really depends on the status of crypto market and for now while the crypto market is too volatile i think long term investment is good because short term investment may risk our investment capital once crypto market will continue to drops.
For now I am just a short term. Because i still don't have a capital for long term investments. But I am so eager to work here to earn more so that i can do also the long term investments. As of now i am trading small amount and hold bitcoins in a short time but i want to keep the interest to be use for future holdings.
I am long term hodler. I buy tokens the for the price rises then when I am satisfied with it I would sell it off. if the value dexreases i would hold it and bear any loses and wait for the market to recover to gain profit.
The market is currently experiencing a huge fluctuation and I think short term is not a good option today in investing cryptocurrency and i believe long term is potentially safe and good while waiting for the cryptocurrency market to rise to become profitable.
