i think that it depends on marker and coins. If i can get profit on long term i'll do it, but if it'll be better to have short term i'll do it. For me mid term works better than all of this variants.

I prefer long term to get a timing of the best price. Sometimes it depends on your financial needs. However, investing should be long term. Short term investment for me is a weekly or monthly basis. I don't do it daily. It sometimes disappoint me when price goes up after I sell.

In my opinion, it depends merely on the risk appetite. In my case, i am a long term investor, a lot of my tokens now have no value yet, because this is come from my bounties and airdrops, i also bought altcoins on exchanges, but the price and value was falling down below the buying capital, i never worry about it, since my goal this time is to have a lot of potential coins, which i hope can be sold in the near future, whenever i need it to sell. Sad to note, not all performing coins this time, in the next few months is not really worth it, and are not performing well. This is a play of trading, where strategies really matter.

Trading on exchanges requires a lot of knowledge on both ups and downs of a currency, if you have this, money is just a seconds away.

If i have enough free time I watch the changing of price and try to have more profit, but usually because of my job if I have some crypto I sell them and try to not lose money, but if price is low i have to wait)

There are two options: if I want to up pretty enough money then waiting is the best way, but if I have some amount of coins and I, for example, need money immediatly i would not wait better price

I think that first option ( sell it with my expected price) is definetly better choice to up a lot of money, but there is risk about this one, but if you don't like risk then second choice is better for you)

Well, you know. Trading on the exchange is an analysis and patience. It is necessary to think and analyze flexibly. Sometimes suffer, and sometimes sell quickly.

Depending on the market value of the coin, I will sell if the exchange is favorable for me and  will hold if I realize I will be on the losing side of I sell

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.
I am a beginner in the world of crypto currency, but with confidence I can say that only long term tactics brings more profit

Although I learned to trade that I tried several times, I still prefer to hold for long term. I get nervous at times when I'm there already and have been selling the tokens I hold for months and when its time for buying back, I buy back too early that I'm too afraid what if the price instantly goes up which means I will lose instead of accumulating more tokens.

I usually apply the average price rule to avoid being over-bought and selling too low. Simply put, it's a tactic to buy more when it's cheap or expensive (average price down / up) to get a new average price.
Some principles for applying the average price:
- Do not rush to run out of money soon
- Not applicable when the price drops drip-type silkworms eat strawberries
- Do not go too far in a landmark, no matter how cheap you are.

Is good and top in CMC
I use both long period and short. Sometimes boring to wait for long, selling for less than originally wanted. Sometimes depends on my mood Cheesy. Both rules are equivalent.

My strategy to choose long term or short term is that I look if the cryptocurrency on the coinmarketcap turns up one or more steps I hold and vice versa.

I chose the long term. Because I think long term is very profitable compared with short-term. But if the long term we are more struggling and be patient to get big profits. If we choose for the long term but we do not have a great sense of patience it will certainly be very difficult to get through it all.

With me, i choose both long term and short term which depend on the coin and the aim of this coin. If the coin is innitial, i will choose the long term, waiting for the development of this coin. If the coin is completed, I will hold in short term, if it gain my money, i will sell it.

I plan to hold coin midterm, which is 6 months to 1 year. however, i have a couple of coins which i will hold long-term such as 2 years. But it depends on lots of things, i think some short-term holder make decent money if the strategy is good.

I prefer long term and holding strategies as they require less time than shorting - you need to be really proficient in trading and be always online to look at market signals.

My friends advice's me to hold for long term but due to to increase and decrease of coins prices every hour and everyday, I think short term may apply to me, buy and sell give you small profits but when this small profits continue and keep coming, then it will become big after a month compared to just holding for long time.

I prefer to long term because it is more profitable in order to avoid bad sell. Keep holding though in the short term it's worth going up better wait a long time could have the price jumped from before.
