Looks like someone took a huge dump on these news.

Bid is down to 1.87 (ask is still 2.047).
All the speculators and weak hands, we are definitely going lower before mid-November which is the earlier I think we will see gen 2 from Asicminer. My bet is we reach 1.2-1.5.

As I said before, the dividends are meaningless at this point. They will be low as all coins going towards gen 2 R&D.  What matters is the hashrate and ASICMiner being able to stay ahead of the game.

So, just to have some fun while waiting, on the old addresses related to hardware sales there are almost 1000 BTC. Someone said that there should be another 2000 BTC that weren't included in last week dividends. Does anyone have other informations?
About 1200 BTC mined.

So 1000 BTC + 2000 BTC + 1200 BTC = 4200 BTC
4200 BTC/400000 shares = 0.0105 per share
minus funds reserved for Gen2/R&D?

Could we see below 0.01 per share?

Yes we did. Sad

I'm not sure if he'll reserve funds again this time, I had assumed that he wouldn't

here's the discussion of funds not included last week:
I assume some revenue was kept back again this week, but does anyone know approximately how much has been kept back in total?

AM owns this (though it also gets divs) and seems like a lot of traffic to and from this address. http://blockchain.info/address/1HgTJED7XEGy4vVwKa8kgefWqUB3VRX2mW

Currently about 9000 BTC here.

Other stuff:
1. The HW payments I was keeping track off from group buy threads, most of them ended up here (http://blockchain.info/address/1ZGtnxLWYVDbUVXPQLTRqnF6Bv6u2BMf8). They still weren't part of the divs (~1670 BTC)

2. Similar one, with ~616 BTC still there - http://blockchain.info/address/18GHa147X18rdNPxJeuNeEM7L7SFzsvTyi - From hw sales

3. Both Sonic and Cannary's group buy payment still has approx. 500 BTC (I imagine most of this being sent to FC, after deducting reseller commission)

My guess: 0.013, because I'm speculating that FC's trying to stabilize the div payouts to help squelch share-price volatility.
+1 for 0.013. But why would FC care about current share price and short-term fluctuations of it?

You know what is more disgusting than someone threatening someone when money is stolen from them and many others?

the piece of shit person that couldnt do the right thing and led people on in order to just rip them off and steal their hard earned money, its not first thing that comes to mind or anything when someone steals from you, anytime ive had someone take money from me I just wanted to give them hugs and take care of their family after... Oh wait No I didnt

vyc, you are a extreme tool bag who has the incessant need or plea for attention, regardless of whether you think you are defending yourself, people have opinions which are going to be opposite of yours,

You spend all your time for what the put options that you made your money on one time due to more competition being put into the mining market and write off words that you learned off of investopedia? no body cares seriously and its annoying having to see your posts and it is ONLY YOU posting over and over and over and over,

get over yourself, you wanted to start your own hedge fund and believe that you have credibility, there was so much faceplam and head shaking that overwhelmed me when I saw you said this,

the options market must be a serious money maker for you considering that it has to explain itself what a put and call option is, not to mention that the price of the premium doesnt change or act anything like it would in the real markets,

Go ahead man defend yourself because im "attacking" you and we live in olden times where you have to defend your online honor...........

there are only a handful of people who I deem to believe are extremely pathetic and you are definitely one of them on this forum, here is your award for the time you invested into defending yourself..... *drum roll*........... NOTHING.

sub .01 div?  I don't think so.  There are enough hardware sales alone to make .01

I seem to remember a discussion in the main thread of around 3000 btc of hardware revenue that didn't get included last week, plus whatever was sold this week.

On a strange note, the hash rate seems to be spiking, we'll wait to see what it averages out on the 48 hour estimate, but 24 hour sees a decent rise.

Ok then trying to stay on subject but thinking about difference stuff. What if Friedcat posted an update with something like:

"It was a cool journey and we all gained alot of money but we are moving on. We are buying back all the shares at IPO price effective immediately. Thank you all for the wonderful experience."

What would you do? And what would happen to the mining and bitcoin related securities scene. Ok lets start digging the wax from each others' ears.

 Grin

it would be sueable breach of contract, resulting in destroying friedcat's reputation, meaning he wouldn't sell any USB miner ever :-) I am not worried about this

+1 - that's not gonna happen

EDIT: hashrate is starting to rise nicely

0.016 pred?

That seems a bit high. I would assume much lower this time around.

I think we could see sub 0.01 divs this week....

I think if we just keep it on topic and not talk about each other's ear wax or whatever the fuck you guys talk about, things will be fine.

As much as I love Vycid, he does post a lot, and some things are definitely off-topic.  But, he's certainly not the only one to distract this thread. So, maybe we can reduce the postings to just a few dozen an hour and try and keep them at least on the subject of bitcoin...

What do you think?  Can we self moderate?

And if you can't help yourself, and you just wanna chat/troll, go over to the labcoin thread, that's what it's there for.
