I have not been involved in airdrop campaigns for a long time. But because of the campaigns which I used to participate in before, there are still scam emails coming up.  Therefore, i think that before participating in any campaign, we need to do detailed research about that project.

Yes I have also filled out airdrop forms for many crypto projects. Now my inbox has been flooded by hundreds of scam messages in every single day.
If the email account that you use to sign up to all those airdrops is not important to you why would you care?
I get about 10-15 different promotions and offers in the email I use for those things and I dont even read them. Make sure you dont register with an account that is important to you.

guys be aware of the airdrop forms that you fill up in here , i filled out a few forms yesterday and i started receiving scam emails on that email address.

Of course some airdrops are just clickbaits for scammers to send emails to random people signing to it. Its simple, don't sign up for an airdrops to avoid being lured o scam projects.

Yeah they are just make our identity unsafe almost 90% of airdrop nowadays is just a waste of time, better just to join some bounties long term but worth it your effort will be paid, just be careful to choose bounties, airdrop is a waste of time and effort, dont waste your time to fill up forms.

A lot of scam projects goes through the airdrop form. I was q vitcim of series of fake projects trying to launch an airdrop using form. I think when hosting an airdrop it's better to use the bitcointalk thread which i find more legit.

Not all airdrops are real airdrops, some are just after your email details so that they can start sending you phishing mails,we have to be extremely careful
There are some fake airdrops have already replaced the link to the airdrop with the malware link. Airdrop is not worth anymore and everyone must forget it soon. Our data is much important rather than shitty airdrop coin.

Apart from the scam emails received from airdrop forms, some of them use it to steal details of people and this is why you should always verify every form before you fill it, if anything looks suspicious, stay away. I have experienced this severally and even had to discard my main email because of too much spam.

True, ive been participating a lot of airdrops since months ago, and my email inbox has loaded with hundreds of emails, i dont know why, but i suspect this is came from my airdrops participations because a lot of those projects that i signed up i never received any tokens from them, so recently i suspect that it is from those airdrops, so the best thing to do now is to use separate emails for airdrops i think.

That's the reason why some of the bounty hunters are joining it including myself.
Especially if the Airdrops is requiring you to submit KYC, don't give your personal documents
in just a piece of small amount of rewards.

Don't enter your private keys no matter of what they are giving to you.

Keep separate wallet for storing airdrop rewards.

No personal information because high chances of it will get misused.

maybe you joined a shady project airdrops, that will happen if you do not research the project you receive a bunch of scam emails.
Aside joining a shady project, we also have to take lots of precautionary method as regards our own financial security, there will always be scam projects and I don’t expect everyone to be so perfect in selection because it is not so easy to distinguishes them that much, but what the op would have done was to use a crypto mail.

That crypto mail should not also hold any vital information like his keys and other login details, but it would have rather been a place where he will be receiving all, these junk messages, and if any hacker is to gain access to the mail, they will not have access to vital information that could make his investment go down the drain. I am someone that participates in projects randomly, and since I know the danger of this, I never joke with my email.

That is the reason why I do not join airdrops anymore, they only use these forms to gather information or data for other purposes and in the end you will get nothing or worthless coins plus a lot of spam emails.

I gave up on airdrops, because they are bringing nothing. Airdrops are distributed after several months of trading, after investors and hunters tokens have been distributed and are usually worth not more than 1 dollar. It makes no sense and furthermore, you are almost getting spam e-mails as the author stated.

a lot of airdrop coded scams they make forms to retrieve personal data from many people. my advice if you want to join airdrop, make new data such as e-mail, then don't make a password with the e-mail password.

Feeling of airdrop forms most especially the ones that come in for of Google forms and typeform have always been a means of obtaining people's details for dubious acts and reasons. One has to be careful of airdrop to take part in.
