Unfortunately this is everyday in crypto. You never know. Even if you only subscribe to legitimate sites, or whitelist to an ICO, sometimes hackers take your e-mail and you start to receive scam e-mails. They are quite easy to identify though, no problem. You should learn how and take care of yourself.
guys be aware of the airdrop forms that you fill up in here , i filled out a few forms yesterday and i started receiving scam emails on that email address.
They want to cahtch your email address to send phising site. then they will steal your money from your wallet. Airdrop is nothing you will get no value from airdrop so becareful with those kind of airdrop. you can create tokens in few minutes to give away new coins.
Don't apply for the airdrops that don't have at least a good looking project behind it. You can usually notice the bad ones by a bad English grammar, absence of Bitcointalk ann, c/p thread (if you are here for more then month then you have surely noticed that some of the ann threads look almost exactly the same) etc. Also, those calling themselves airdrops when they actually ask for the completion of tasks (and should thus be called bounties) don't have much merit with me.
Also stay away from those created by people with a bad reputation and be very suspicious towards those that hide their identities.

yes it's true ... now a lot of scams on behalf of airdrop, because right now a lot of bounty hunter looking for airdrop utilized by scamers creating a fake airdrop thread, we must be more careful
when filling out the form, because there are some forms that ask private key of our wallet,
besides they send us an email telling us to follow the link they send, never follow the link on behalf of your wallet (eg myetherwallet) in your email moreover they ask you to enter the private key of your wallet because they try stolen your coin or token in your wallet and this I have ever experienced

that's what's happening right now. too much airdrop that does not even have a good concept. the impact is very bad, rampant scamers are very unsettling.
These emails are really alerting! Received some as well, asking to confirm my account and so on. People should really be careful when clicking on any links that are sent via email, especially when the content of that mail are links that will redirect you to online wallet sites and asks you to login or sign up, esp. using your private keys. Some sites really look likes the original site but if you look on the URL, it's a different one. Be careful!

YES its true! beware of thoose emails, but still airdrop is an airdrop and you should use different wallet for it ! those emails can be ignored and dont mind them, but most airdrop are real and a good source of extra money ! 
The last airdrop i looked at wanted you to verify every bitcoin address you had and you would be sent out whatever token it was depending on the amount of bitcoin you hold. I wouldnt bother with any of these, if its an airdrop then its free for a reason =p.
I am aware that a few through the years would have been nice to get hold of but most arent worth the risk in my opinion.

I have seen lots of airdrop forms asking to fill private key haha. I just cant stop myself to laugh seing those kinds of modus haha.
What you should remember when you join airdrop. When you see a link that hits you you will go to MyEtherWallet. That's what you do not do because it's a clear Phishing Site. Or ask for a donation to receive your Tokens. This is an offense because we should not have to join the ICO or donate to them. And the one you should do is not to put your Email in use because that might be the way to steal all your information
these are not airdrops, they are money making machines. they create some crap ICO or something like that and do a little give away (they have lots of free tokens out of thin air, giving away something free for free!) but at the same time they gather lots of information from crypto users such as their Email addresses. they even sell these Emails down the line as lists to many buyers!
and the solution is always easy. that is why throwaway AKA temporary email was created. you make one, receive what you want and throw it away.

yeah. True, Good to use new or not much using email address to be used to fill the air drop forms
