guys be aware of the airdrop forms that you fill up in here , i filled out a few forms yesterday and i started receiving scam emails on that email address.

Thankfully google spam filters are working well now, these emails rarely appear in my inbox, though I took part in hundreds of airdrops and bounties. Just don't click suspicious links Smiley

When participating in the airdrop program, we must also be more vigilant and careful because at this time there are a lot of phishing and fraud in the name of the airdrop program. This has become an open secret again. Already many people have been deceived when following the airdrops program. Of course, this can be a lesson for all of us. Do not be easily tempted by this one program, especially if we have not analyzed carefully whether iniscam or legit.

Some of it is coming from ICO's that you've participated but once I received it all I have to do is just hit the spam button and it will just go through the spam emails and all the succeeding emails that I'm going to receive coming from those emails are tagged as spammed.

More and more airdrops projects are phishing aimed at stealing information from participants. Most of the current airdrop projects do not bring you any results, so limit your information. The implementation of KYC administration should also be considered because it will greatly affect your personal information.

It's easy for me to trace scam airdrop forms, and once detected, I don't even bother filling. People should stop filling airdrop forms with their main email address, also when registering on a site provided, never use your main email and it's password, it might be a trap to hack your email or an attempt to check if the login details matches your exchange accounts or other sites. Let's be guided.

It's normal that airdrops and bounty campaigns are selling your email databases. It's another way for them to make some money on the side.

Smart people know this and use burner emails to register. It's not a big deal. When your email address starts getting too much spam just switch it to another one. It takes 5 minutes to set it up.

I know what you said is true about receiving spam emails after filling out some forms and it's good thing you warned people over that but one problem is, how to know the airdrops to join and the ones not to jointo avoid this? I wish we can figure this out before joining any airdrop

mostly of the airdrop now is scam.. that is why i never fill up a form since the last 2017.. they will get your email and start sending you airdrop and links to participate in their referral.. no more airdrop that has value today unlike last 2017
It's just rarely having a good airdrop during this time with a good intentions to paid the participants because it often scam at the end. Right now i can tell that it so hard to earn money on this thing. They just want to collect your information.

Yeah we need to be alert always, most of these fake token airdrop forms tend to be more like phishing forms and less like reward forms, we need to be careful while providing information because some of them do take all important information and the result may be the hack or theft so never fill every form and avoid low quality projects and their airdrops.

Yes, everyone has to be cautious of the information he or she provides in airdrop forms for those doing airdrops. Do not use email you use for exchanges or official purpose for airdrop, create a fresh email for that. Also, never provide documents for KYC to any airdrop, those with bad intentions might probably sell your data or use it for dubious acts, be careful with information you provide.

If you joined any airdrop, better check if the ongoing or upcoming  ICO are having an airdrop, don't simply fill the form. I've joined an airdrop in the past, and the scammers are collecting my data and I've been receiving a lot of notifications which I don't sign up.

This has been the case for a long time. Some random airdrop where you have to join a telegram and provide them your email address. Sometimes also needs to follow on twitter and Facebook and they provide nothing more than scam. So, firstly make a spam only email address to use in such events and don't join an airdrop without proper project.

it's a nice and very good idea to create another email for hunting airdrop,  don't use your email address that you use for vital things,  lots of airdrop out there are just to get information of participants,  that's all

Contacts are probably sold to the scammers by the airdrop makers. Information is such a valuable thing and coming to the point that these people are selling it to benefit from it.
I have signed up some forms before and I'm also surprised that I keep receiving scam and phishing attempts on my email.

One reason I'm not interested in airdrop is a scam. There are many ways they do to cheat, by sending e-mails, personal telegram messages and more. And that is not comparable to the results we get. Don't waste time on that.
