It just the scam emails, you might fill in your private key or get hacked through the process of filling out such forms. Google forms are not secure means of collecting data.

Indeed, after participating in dubious airdrop, I began to receive a lot of fraudulent letters, although I didn’t even participate in many, maybe they have their own database of email addresses that they are trying to use. If you are planning to continue to participate in Airdrop, then try to use temporary mail, for example: https://temp-mail.org/en/

guys be aware of the airdrop forms that you fill up in here , i filled out a few forms yesterday and i started receiving scam emails on that email address.

That's your mistake, you don't have to use your personal emails in airdrop.
Most of the airdrop are scams, that's what I learn in the past so I don't participate on it now, if ICO projects are having a struggle now, how much more a free one.
I have never participated in airdrop, but I see it is still lucky to only get a fraudulent email, because sometimes we get phissing emails, and of course it will harm us if we open it and follow their directions. it will be even more dangerous if it requires sending KYC

Of course, this has been one of the issues surrounding the filling of online forms not only for airdrops. Remember, most of these projects are just interesting in gathering a bunch of emails to sell for their own gains. I will be smart to always have a secondary email for such purposes if one intends to participate largely in stuffs recommending the filling of online forms.

Yes we must be very careful on the forms because most of them are just getting our information and sell it to thieves, also use it to send phishing emails to hacked our private keys and get our precious coins when we clicked on the link.

yeah, i think so.
indeed when i followed a lot of airdrop and filled out many forms at that time, my e-mail began to be sent a fraudulent message.

i began to feel uncomfortable because of that, since then i began to be careful and afraid of what if i made a mistake when opening the email and going to the scam link.

I really hate to receive too many ads and promotion on my email, it's made my account flooded.

I am not a fan of airdrop, although, other cryptocurrency project are legit and promote using airdrop, but many are not.

This is the reason why I learn to provide only my email account and other personal information whenever I am certain the legitimacy of the company.

That's true, most of these airdrop forms are just to steal email addresses which they either sell or use for promotion. Some also, deceive users into joining their Telegram groups thus changing it thereafter. It's always wise we verify most of these forms before filling them.

That's one of the purposes of airdrops, they want your email so they can send you a lot of offers, this is actually illegal you should opt to their newsletter or be included in their list to get emails coming from them, you should hit spam whenever you received this kind of email, another thing I hate about these airdrops is the KYC, after you've done your KYC and received your coins, you will never read anything about their project anymore.

I really think that scammers and fraudsters are going to get the email addresses of the bounty participants and airdrop participants on the spreadsheets, scammers and fraudsters would collect such emails so that they gonna send their phising sites to many address and maybe some innocent would click to their bait and be scammed. This tactics are commonly used by scammers.

You'd be surprised, but a lot of airdrops sell our email bases to the network, then, as you can already guess, we have a huge mountain of spam and phishing on our emails. That is why for airdrop should use a separate email.
We are running into this kind of system ever since, not just the airdrop but most of the social sites where your emails are connected. Its really good to have personal and other account separately, it can lessen the spam. Be ware also if KYC was being asked, its not good for just an airdrop.

Sharing the personal email address is not a genuine idea if there are more than enough scam projects which usually sells user database of the customers. Use fake and temporary email address and block all incoming emails from the first address.

It is a norm, majority of the airdrops are means to getting attention from suspicious sites and malwares, the best practice is to use a dedicated email quite different from normal or regular email for Airdrop, that way you will not bother much about the kind of mails received therein

Right, create a disposal email, so that when then try to spam or even attempted to hack that account, it will be useless for them.

You can also check this, https://haveibeenpwned.com/, to see if your account has been compromised already.

So far, I never again participate in certain airdrops. First is because less worth coins that they commonly offer. Then, there are so many scams and phishing from airdrop programs. That is why being careful and watch out of we want to participate in the airdrops is very important. KNow the regulation and ways to earn the tokens or coins from the airdrop programs.

indeed at this time we find it difficult to find a program that does not smell of fraud, whether it's in the form of airdrop or bounty. whether what is their motivation, and most severely we find it difficult to find the traits in that fraud. we all hope this will soon be over.

Indeed, participation in Airdrop is not safe lately, as fraudsters can easily get your data, as well as easy access to your wallets. Therefore, it is an unjustified risk that is unlikely to bring you profit and success.
