through meditation you may discover a lot of unbelieveble things. it clears your mind, through the right way of breathing it also clears your body. to get all  thy benefits you have to study this topic very deep because meditation consists of other very important parts, that are undescribible here.

I am not sure whether mediation may result in all these benefits, as you have mentioned in your post. But one thing is sure, yoga may be much better than pure meditation for physical as well as mental health. But it needs to be seen how acceptable is yoga to the western nations, as it is having a strong association with Hinduism.

Meditation calms the soul and brings you to a state of peace and enlightenment. I think it's a healthy
exercise, relieves and combats stress. I always wondered how to meditate just like those Tibetan
monks, they are amazing and they seem to live with the positivity that meditation brings out in each
and everyone in them. Spiritual experience may be associated with meditation, It's different with
everybody, it must be a challenge to bring oneself to that peaceful and spiritual state. It's also
believed to raise and bring out a different kind of awareness that aids the person to live and practice
a life with compassion, optimism and tranquility.

This can helps someone to earn a peaceful mind, the very useful habit to fight stress in everyday living.
