question about the "market BTC->USD" conversion for WPN tournaments... If I cash in a tournament I play, do I get the price when the tournament started or when I bust/win? (seeing as late reg. is ridiculously long on many) Any information is appreciated.

Also, do the mBTC SNGs ever run? (or are most playing the fiat tourneys through WPN?)

Let us know when Betcoin is able to make up 1% of WPN players.  That would be sign of decent growth.

The "look how awesome we are - you calling us out for being dishonest and unethical is making us so much $$$" argument is BS and barely worth acknowledging at this point.

You must be a shill or very thick to be defending it.

I guess there are 240 shills playing at Betcoin right now then which is more than last week and certainly more than the week before.  Also, I was asked to simply not respond to these posts and I agreed to so but had to point out one last thing.  If you have such a problem with Betcoin, why do you play there?  May I reference your post just 2 weeks ago below:

What does Betcoin need to do to be able to allow it's players to access the WPN tournament feed again?  Do you think this will get ironed out before the start of the OSS, I'd really like to play.

Seems as the the most vocal are the most active as expected.

I go to Betcoin.ag and see more people playing poker, communicating in the forum, the sportsbook, casino and the dice tournaments than ever.  270 people online right.  Keep doing what you are doing guys because as this forum proves you can't please everyone.

On another note, will you be updating the post on the BitcoinTalk Tournament?   The OP didn't post last week.  Keep this tournament.

Thank you for your feedback.  Yes, traffic and activity continues to increase.  We are also working very hard on some additional improvements we hope to have ready by the beginning of the year.  You are certainly right about not being able to please everyone but we certainly will continue to try.

We have not heard from the OP organizer but plan on continuing with the tournament and will keep you posted.  You can check www.betcoin.ag for more information anytime as well.

A good start to "try to please everyone" would be to answer the numerous people who have posted complaints or even questions.

The silence is deafening, especially when you manage to respond within 30 minutes to the two or three very obvious shill accounts who only say "I LIKE BETCOIN IT BE GOOD!"

Banning players from the site for discussing site issues/problems does not look good.

If someone is interfering with the forum and hijacking every thread with numerous posts, that could be a problem.

But it is also a warning sign for players if a site bans players due to their wanting answers to problems and questions.

Incidentally, months ago I looked at Betcoinsports and had great difficulty getting anything responded to, either via emailed support and/or via their thread.

It was only when I posted in the Peeps thread and Peeps contacted them that they turned on the bs machine and started responding with the same non-answers as they are doing in this thread.

Shortly after that they posted that they've increased their cs, numerous new hires, 24/7 support, a glorious new world of wonder awaits us all, bla bla.

But it's obvious from reading this thread that the cs is as bad as ever.

I'd suggest all of you poker players copy and paste your complaints here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.1620

Even though it's a sportsbook rating thread, a problem in the poker room indicates problems with the entire company.

The withdraw button in wallet seems to be redirecting to wallet page.

I noticed that yesterday, and posted it in one of the other many betcoin threads.

If only there was a single venue for support issues where you didn't just get expediently ignored. Wink

Why isn't there a single Betcoin thread where comments about the sportbook/poker/casino could be posted, which is what almost every other btc gambling company has?

Agree with Betcoin and the posters that it is confusing this way.

But support tickets keep the issues secret.
Transparency is obtained by posting in the thread as far as other posters being informed of problems.

I'd suggest Betcoin consolidate to one thread for all of their operations.

A scam?  One thing we always see is the word scam being used very freely here at Bitcointalk.  We can't control if some bitcointalk members think other bitcointalk members are trolling or not.  You are addressing a player on our website and Betcoin at the same time with these comments and the player certainly doesn't speak for Betcoin.

Dooglus, we have close to 1,000 players daily on Betcoin, over 100 tickets and 50-100 live chat customer support tickets daily.  Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris and the WPN and have been in business over 16 years.  Customer service can always be improved and will continue to be improved, but we are surprised by your use of the word scam.

With that said, we are reviewing your particular ticket in detail still and as stated would have the resolution in full by Monday at the latest.  On another note, the traffic and player volume has increased to its highest point over the last 2 weeks, which we are very happy to report.

" Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris...".

Could you please elaborate on this.
What is your parent company's name?

How do the owners overlap with BetCris?
BetCris is an established and honorable brand.
But " Our parent company and owners overlap with BetCris..." is a vague statement that could be anything. Or nothing, as I could state I overlap with PinnacleSports.

What do you mean by "overlap"?
If I was in conversation with one of the principals of BetCris, would that person vouch for your company?

Or does this "overlap" only mean you rent offices and internet lines from them, or something similar?

We certainly appreciate the feedback and this seemed to be intermittent and should be working well now.  There is a single venue, on the support page www.betcoin.ag/support and in the live chat where we can get to the issues at hand promptly and keep a good record of them.

Plo8,

After speaking to you privately about some of these issues and being promised that you would not allow anything to get swept under the rug, it was pretty disapointing when you didn't even bother to take the time and find out the facts - it's easier to just write me off as just another troll but look closely and youll see every claim I've made about betcoin I've backed up with evidence.  Some of them are complicated issues, but that's  no excuse.

You call yourself : "Poker Professional, Bitcoin enthusiast. Site pro @BetcoinAG dedicated to safe pleasant online poker experience."

Putting Betcoin before the game itself is irresponsible.

Here's a link to a more organized version of my issues, for your reading pleasure.  Please read it and then let me know if you think their behavior should be considered acceptable.

http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showthread.php?11404-Betcoin-ag-Scams-Scandals-and-Shadiness-Galore

This is only going to get bigger, I promise.

In other news, I exchanged a few pms with Betcoin last night.

Cliffs (No typos, they just don't make sense, perhaps Jessica was drunk or something):

- Betcoin would much rather have me back in the community.

- The community is a lot smoother now that I am gone which is allowing them to fix things.

- I am always welcome back (im still banned)

- Because of me, Bitcoin Talk referrals have never been higher, I should be paid for helping them grow!

- They encourage me to ask more questions, because my questions are important. (they haven't answered any)

- I’m definitely bringing in new players, they appreciate it.

- This has been a very good experience for the forum rep.

(Normally I would never share a pm without permission - I think this is an acceptable time to make an exception)

We would actually much rather have you back in the community. Our staff is working on much of the great feedback you and all of our players have provided. I am the forum rep and as advised by owners, staff etc. going back and forth in a forum is never productive, but staying on the first page in the thread is very beneficial for Betcoin as the referrals from BitcoinTalk have never been higher. We will continue to work hard to make everything as perfect as possible at Betcoin and you will always be welcome back.

"We would actually much rather have you back in the community"

Much rather than what?
You disable my account ban my ip without explanation then tell me you'd rather I wasn't banned?
Why did you ban me in the first place? If you'd rather I wasn't banned why not simply un ban me?
I think it's because you know I won't stop asking questions that you don't want to answer.
Why did Betcoin ignore me for the weeks leading up to my first post about this issue here?

Betcoin.ag

Much rather than ban you. We don't want to ban anybody.
Even you stated in an earlier message you can see why you have been banned.
You can ask as many questions as you want and we encourage it. Notice we have never asked you once to stop posting. As the forum rep, I have never been busier!
Betcoin is working on many things brought up from all of our great players and will get to everything in time.
Again, we appreciate your vigor and posts. You should be earning from the traffic you are sending over.

My Response
Quote
You've already banned me.

If you would rather I weren't banned, you would unban me. Please stop saying things that conflict with the actions of Betcoin.

I can ask as many questions as I want only because you can't stop stop me.

If you could, you would.

You've proven that by deleting the same questions when I asked them on your forum and eventually banning me so I couldn't ask them in chat.

I still have not received answers to many questions even months after asking them.

Acting as if I am helping you by exposing your lies and unethical practices is just childish and I can't see how anyone would believe you would ban me from your site for doing something that you were glad I was doing.

Betcoin.ag

Yes, you have been banned.

Yes, the community is a lot smoother and we can focus on fixing remaining issues and adding future additions.

We would not stop you, because this is the proper forum for it. We would encourage you as you ask important questions. We are working on a wide variety of things right now from all of our members including you but asking multiple times a day just is not necessary.

You are definitely helping bring in new users and we appreciate it.

Again, I am just the forum rep and this has also been a good experience for me as well.
