He was just observing Murata that's why he didn't get aggressive in the early rounds but he handled it accordingly, having a real hard time is an understatement.

GGG should not make that observation again once he faces Canelo lol. That was risky! It's just fortunate that GGG can handle Murata punches that's why the former think right away of a strategy that will shutdown Murata. The Japanese champion did his best. Salute to him for giving GGG a good practice lol.

And now what is left is Canelo taking down Bivol before the trilogy with GGG. Bivol has seen the underdog but his boxing credentials are not a joke. He has the chance to beat Canelo in this match even the provided odds to them are somehow too gap.

Time flies so fast. It's just less than a month before we can now able to see this fight.

Yeah, the ball is now on Canelo, GGG has done it, win against Murata, get his belt, but it was a very tough fight for him in the beginning. So the other part of the dancing partner has fulfilled it already. So let us just wait for Canelo then, hopefully there will be no derailing on the part of Bivol because he has a chance to pull an upset, although slim the chances are there.

Golovkin just beat Murata via technical knockout in the 9th round

GGG vs Murata highlights and results: Gennadiy Golovkin beats Ryota Murata

Golovkin had a real hard time with Murata in the early rounds but in the 6th round he caught Murata with a lot of good punches in the head that turn the fight around in GGG favor, GGG is very much different from the GGG we've seen 8 years ago in this fight
but I still want to see the trilogy happen, hopefully, Canelo if he wins or loses against Bivol will also take the trilogy.

He was just observing Murata that's why he didn't get aggressive in the early rounds but he handled it accordingly, having a real hard time is an understatement. The fight becomes heated and officially started on the 3rd round where both of them are exchanging punches but it's somehow clear that GGG have already got a good points for continuously aiming at Murata's head.

The fight ended in the 9th round via TKO, and that's already good whereas it ended by a decision where things could possible go wrong hehe. Now, it's Canelo's turn to shine and make the trilogy into reality.

It's now Alvarez decision after his fight if his camp is really open for this possible trilogy. GGG managed to win and beat Murata in front of his fans, just the same with your observation. GGG heated after that 3rd round exchanging of punches. Murata tries to fight back but GGG already seen his advantage and takes care of it to win the fight.

Looking forward now to see the trilogy between GGG and Canelo, Alvarez can deal with it whether he wins or loses against Bivol, more on how the camp of Canelo's take regarding to this possible fight.
Canelo alvarez if he will win or loss in this fight I think the rematch is waiting against triple G who will win his match.
What a win by triple G in that match I am amazed that triple G even in his age he can still knocking down murata.
I think it's better to focus back in training so that canelo alvarez will win in this match against civil and for sure he can.

Now, who is old?

Murata seems to be the one who was gassed out first, that one punch from GGG stopped the fight and he was then declared the winner.
Now, no more doubt for GGG, he is here to rule and the next fight would be against Canelo. Nice, we now have a chance to see a Trilogy if the rumor will happen.

Canelo alvarez vs. Triple G will coming soon for sure, cause triple G want to rematch canelo and if canelo alvarez will win also in his match against bivol without a doubt the will fight again with Triple G. And about triple G fight earlier all I can say is a big No only his age will getting old but his stamina and solid punches still saying that I am the king even if my body getting old but when my punch came to you you will realize I am still young to knockout you.

Canelo will win, just be positive because we are going to see the biggest fight this year.

A trilogy of GGG vs Alvarez has been requested by the fans, and after this, regardless on who will win, this will end the rivalry between the two champions. GGG has done his job, now it's time for Canelo to beat his opponent, it should be an impressive win coming from him to match the outcome of the Murata vs GGG fight.

Correct! That's common whatever era we're in, there would be that someone out there who just hates whatever you do and everything you had accomplished doesn't really matter to them, it's like that they don't want you to be successful in life. And as of Canelo's case, he have this writer that really hates him and doesn't believe what he accomplished even if it's really clear in the picture.

Both of them will be tested as they're both champions but Canelo is much more superior. You cannot be an undisputed champion if you're not that strong and skilled.

Like what you just mentioned, it's clear that Canelo already achieved things that most boxers wanted to have, the writer is not in his right mind or just trying to attack Canelo to engaged with more possible readers, it's true that not all we can please especially for well-known personalities, there are still people who will hate you and will try to bring negative things on you.

Moving back to the fight, Canelo will again try to empress his fans, showing his skills when both fighters are already inside the ring.

Hope to see Bivol fighting toe-to-toe and try even harder to win this match.
We don't have to worry about that as Canelo is surely used about that already and the most important thing is that he have his own legacy that no one could deny that he is one of the best boxer in the industry and yes an undisputed boxer that not any ordinary boxer can attain.

We can already expect that this would be a good and entertaining fight with full of explosive punches while trying not to be knocked down first. As of Bivol, he is going to defend his title at all cost and I surely bet that he will give Canelo a nice fight.

I highly agree, he have his records that can back him up for those who are doubting at him and Canelo is already accustomed to it, it's not that he was just born yesterday for him not to used about that noise.

Anyway, back to the topic. I think this will not be an easy road for Canelo as he will about to face the defending champion of this division, Dmitry Bivol. But I don't have doubts that he can figure it out somewhere between each round how to defeat Bivol, just like he did into his previous fights.

This writer is predicting that Bivol will wreck Canelo and make an example of what happens to a fighter who attempts to overreach his physical boundaries.

Not entirely true. I've seen someone who have been into 8 different weight division and wreck  every single one of them. Well, maybe he didn't became the example of a fighter who attempts to overreach physical boundaries lol.
Canelo doesn't just being ambitious on climbing the weight division ladder, but he rather have to challenge his physical limits. I mean true fighter don't just stay in a division where nobody can beat him.
That statement from the writter is nothing but pure hate towards Canelo.

As the saying goes, "you can't please everybody", and this is so true with Canelo. I mean he has reached so many accolades already, cleaning up the division, meaning multiple belts and could become Mexico's GOAT. So it will be obvious that someone will hate as to what he has accomplished already. Maybe the writer has some inside of him and he is destroying Canelo in his article. Nevertheless, we all know that Canelo is far more superior, not even Bivol might have a chance against him.
And even if he happened to lose who cares? I personally prefer someone that tries their hardest to improve and it is not afraid to lose than someone that is undefeated at their weight class and he is always looking at the best possible match for himself, looking at you Mayweather, not only the attitude is preferable this will also give us more interesting fights to watch, and is not that what we want as fans of boxing? As an example, Pacquiao gave Marquez a chance for a fourth fight despite winning 2 and drawing one, he lost the fourth one in a spectacular fashion but still I think we can appreciate the fact we could see a classic like that thanks to the fact Manny was not afraid to fight Marquez again.

^^ Hmm, not the first article that I read that thinks that Bivol has a good chance to beat Canelo. But it's a prime Canelo that Bivol is going to face, he has been in this division before and can carry his power up to the 175 lbs. So I'm not sure what this boxing writers are saying after all. Of course, Bivol is good no doubt, but he hasn't face any competition such as Canelo so he might be surprise as how good Alvarez is and he might not have a chance to adjust and react to it.

I just encounter an article stating that if Canelo Alvarez will lose this fight, it will immediately remove the possibility of him taking on Gennadiy Golovkin in a trilogy match on September 17th. It means the progress of the trilogy between Canelo and GGG is now in the process and the pre-requisite of it is Canelo winning against Bivol even though not mentioned, GGG should also win against Murata.

I don't mind GGG as I'm sure he can take Murata but Canelo has a big task as he's fighting against a fellow prime boxer and a champion too. Bivol also sees a chance by some analysts that he can upset Canelo thru the right timing.

Canelo vs. Bivol: What if Alvarez LOSES to Dmitry?

Interesting to read some comments there. Cheesy

Hmm interesting article, thanks for sharing!

Yes it's true that Canelo have more burden than GGG fighting against Murata who don't have any special abilities. IMO, Canelo's chance to be defeated is also the same chance that he can win, both of them is still in their prime but the only difference is that Bivol haven't tasted defeat yet and I'm seeing that as his strength. This is a fight of Champion vs Champion so it's a most anticipated fight not just because Canelo is there fighting but because this is a fight where he's getting tested by the Russian boxer.

There’s nothing wrong with Canelo being ambitious, but he has over judged what he’s capable of. Some would argue that Canelo’s recent wins over the weak group of champions at 168 have fueled his ego, giving him a false perception of what he can do.

The hatred calm down because people are realizing that a lot of Russians are not supporting Putin's. So when it comes to sports, everyone should be equal. I don't think they will change the venue as the fight is about a month from now. People who want to watch need to book their flights/tickets. So would be a mess if they will change the venue last minute. I believe, they won't change it anymore, unless very important consideration is on hand, that changing the venue is the only solution.

You got a good point, not all the Russians are supporting the action of their leaders, they don't have options and in regard to sport athlete needs to perform and put away any personal concerns, considering the location it would be messed just like what you have said, those who wanted to watch the live fight needs to book their tickets it will be another expense maybe they will only consider that change if there's pressure that will force them to do so.
