Seems to me that he favored Margarito that day, the same that he favor Barrera in his first fight Pacman, just my cents lol.

Congrats bro, i didn't see it coming. My reference for putting my on "Spence to win via Decision" was Spence last fight against Danny Garcia where the volume of punches he threw was not like this recent fight.

One thing is for sure, Spence is not Pacquiao and he is more aggressive and more power puncher than him. Ugas might think that he beat the old Pacquiao, he can beat everyone in their division right now and he might get surprised when he takes some punches prom Spence. Can't wait for this fight to happen and to see how Spence can quickly counter that long reach of Ugas which he used to beat Pacquiao. It's hard to predict that it would be a knockout but anything can happen inside the ring and still I bet for Spence to win this one.

How will you guys grade Spence Jr performance though?

For me it's a solid 9 out of 10, boxing IQ, aggressiveness, strategy, volume, defense (except for the mouth incident in round sixth), he seems to be in the zone and very fluid movement in this fight.

So definitely there is no effect of the eye injury and he come back a notch better against a great fighter in Ugas.

so high likely, spence vs crawford would be the next big attraction in boxing. when? depends on their promoters as they negotiate the purse split. but if they can make it this year, why not? the sooner they can, the better. i hope their promoters will not wait years and years because they can't meet with their terms. just look at what happened between mayweather and pacquiao.

Yeah, this is a good decision by the referee to have it look by the ring side doctor because that eye is really closing and Ugas has problems seeing. So they have to protect him, and not totally damage his eye just like what happen to Margarito wherein they let him finished during their Pacquiao fight. It was permanently damage and it was not the same Margarito after that fight. No shame for Ugas, he did his best but Spence was a monster that night against him. Although some lapses in his judgement in the 6th that almost got him knock out.

I also have the feeling that these 2 boxers will try to survive these 12 rounds as it is both dangerous for both of them to be very aggressive. Spence had his eye injury to take care of whereas, Ugas, wants to keep the belt as much as possible. But whatever will happen, I believe this fight is one of the boxing fights people want to watch because of their popularity now in the boxing arena.

spence should not be too confident inside the ring. if he needs to score every round, he should, if he can't KO ugas. because as they are vying for those 3 belts, ugas may play it safe and not be very aggressive. same with spence. so don't know if we will witness a toe-to-toe fight as they may be too careful with their moves. few hours and we will see.

It will be the best fight of the year if both fighters will go toe to toe because that's the best way to entertain the fans since the result is based on their satisfaction. Hopefully, Ugas will get loose and will give everything he has to try to KO spence.
