Actually, this can be a hope, especially for me because it will be very exciting to see Davis, especially for now they have quite a name in their class.
But indeed, if you look at it now, even if it is possible to happen, I think it would be very arrogant if you directly make something like this, but on the other hand, you still have to face a battle that, even though you are superior, does not rule out the possibility that something surprising will happen.
Yep it happened on July 16th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles which was expected to be packed with 20,000 fans.

He needs to put his mouth into his clubs and impress the fans, if after this fight he made an impressive performance expect to see more noise about the possibilities of his next money fight, though just the same, he needs to win first before expecting another good fight to come, there are things that Garcia needs to establish against Fortuna a good ticket to have a better future career inside this sport.

He was too confident in the fight against Fortuna right now and actually it wasn't too good to be overconfident like this because there would be a gap in his mind that would make this a disaster for himself.
Confidence was good but talking about the next fight before finishing the approaching duel now sounded like underestimating Fortuna.
I know he has quality but it's still not completely decided that he can win.

Yes, that's what I said, sometimes when a boxer is too overconfident, it will backfire on them. Goosen will still train Ryan here, maybe it really affected his performance since he used to be under Reynoso. But he is still young and could learn a lot from Goosen and perhaps we would see it in this next fight against Fortuna. And maybe if he score a knock out, he can call Tank Davis again for a fight.

I edited it, the fight is going to happen on July 16.

Yes, but he can't get out Davis out of his mouth, hehehe,

Ryan Garcia To Gervonta Davis: I Will Whoop Your Ass, Put You To Sleep!.

Not a good sign though if he keeps on talking about the next boxer he wants to fight because he still have someone in front of him next month. So he better not skip and be over confident against Fortuna because a loss will mean that all of his dream and big money fights are not going to happen because he will be back to zero again.
You got that right, this kid needs to focus on what's in front of him first. What's in his imagination might not happen if he keeps on underestimating Javier Fortuna.
It would be acceptable if his last fight was a TKO to say it would be a short night for Fortuna, but it's not. After that change of head trainer to Goossen his last game against Tagoe was a UD.
Let's see, it's easy to talk trash but you should have the power to back it up.
Was it July 19 or 16? Title says 19 but I am seeing 16.

Yes, actually, I tried to say the exact same thing. His self-confidence is very good, if we put all his skills to the performance in the ring, he should already have self-confidence, but as I said, he needs to focus on the fight in front of him, he must beat Fortuna first. Then you say something to your other rivals. Saying something to Tank here sounds like Fortuna isn't even an opponent for me. This is to underestimate your opponent. I don't think we need to talk so soon.

Well Ryan Garcia now has a very good motivation, what we can think is that Ryan will have to try much harder to put on a good fight, of course everyone bets on RYAN, for Fortuna it is a super important fight, he wants to win, he will take care of a possible knockout because he doesn't want to look bad, if we put this in context we can say that Ryan has some experience with Fortuna, people know him more and know more about his career, Fortuna wants to make his way to be able to establish himself as one of the best And what better way is to beat Ryan, it would be something that will give him a lot of prestige and the doors will continue to open for him.

A challenging fight between these two fighters, they have reasons to win, especially in terms of their future careers. Ryan needs to be established more, while Javier will try to bring his name to the limelight. Whoever wins the fight will generate a good money fight. Promoters interest will be there and will let them to showcase their talents.

Boxing is more on the money side, hypes with great performance will bring the fighter to the place they wanted to be, both know the value of this fight so expect an enjoyable and interesting action from these two fighters.

If lately there is a lot of interest in this that has to do with the business model, for everything, there are many boxers who are famous, and who have had fights that they thought they would win and they lost, like the case of Canelo with Bivol, all they wanted him to win so that the most anticipated Canelo vs. GGG fight would take place, now it will take place in the same way, but not for the sport but for the money or business model (of course, this is my thought) seeing that things happen like this, it can happen that in what I think of personal interest with respect to the sport they take advantage of the fans and the bettors to put the fight in any way, then they are things that sometimes we accept but knowing that there is all that behind. I see Fortuna much more hungry than Ryan.

Usually the trash talker is lose when he's overconfident and not know his opponent power lol, but I'm not expect Fortuna can win against Garcia. We need a fight where Garcia is the underdog (it should be against Tank if happen) then we will see a good fight and how he prove his trash talk before. Both Garcia and Rolly aren't different who only rely on their physical appearance/power without have much technical skills.

You're correct it's July 16, not July 19, so yeah @OP need to update the subject.
Garcia is too young and self-confident, he still has some good lessons to learn before he can become a good fighter. He is only 23 years old, Fortuna is 10 years older than him, and Fortuna is different from the fighters that Garcia fought. Fortuna goes ahead and knows how to take a hit well, in addition, he is left-handed, which will also make his own adjustments.

If nothing has changed, then it will be on Saturday, July 16th.

Ryan Garcia is one of the most talented young boxers you've ever seen, with a lot of speed and explosive strength, he's been able to find easy knockouts so far. Why am I saying until now, he will start to face the real opponents now. First of all, what will be the result of their fight with Fortuna, I think Ryan Garcia is close to win if this fight is not a surprise. I think he should concentrate on the game ahead. It's not enough for Tank, I think Tank would put Ryan Garcia to sleep if there was an encounter right now.

I appreciate how Ryan Garcia is inside the ring and how confident he is every time he faces an opponent no matter how good their record is, he knocked them out with his swift powerful punches. Forget the underrated opponents, Ryan is still young have more rooms to improve while fighting these guys before finally fighting a much better one. After all, his fate will gonna bring him to one of those Champions when he beat every opponent with ease and effortless fights.

Ryan is a good and experienced fighter that I have known for sometime,  I don't think fortuna will be a problem for Ryan to defeat . But it will be interesting to watch fortuna to see how he is going to scale through from the hands of Ryan, if their will be a surprise from him proving the imagination of Ryan defeating him easily wrong.
that is not how far it works you might think that he will defeat it totally and easily but not knowing that is not how all this boxing fight is all about fight is all about the energy you possessed and their strategies to fight that is what happened. To defeat and influential and the popular person is something that you have to use wisdom and the strategies to follow not by popularity so I believe that some people who witnessed the game we see the result

it's very exciting to see if they will finally meet each other in the ring. Garcia needs to win first, should be a knockout win so the fight between Davis will be hype if that would happen. I think it will be a 50/50 fight, though we can criticize Garcia we have to admit he is still good and he has really the power to put someone asleep.

That even help him realize that he is not invincible, thing is, he is still undefeated until now because he knows how to stand up and finish the fight with a win. Every boxer has a weakness and I believe that Ryan Garcia have already improve himself so that will not happen again.

Good thing that he has that capability, but we never know maybe from those past fights but when it came to a title fight, we really can't tell if the opponent will allow him to stand back once they already seen the open opportunities to knock him down, but until we see that time then we can say that he really improves or he can stand and ignores those heavy combinations.

Again, there are many opportunities for this young fighter he just need to keep winning and continue establishing his path.

I'm hoping that will not happen again because if an A-rated boxer will hit him and he got knock down, I don't know what's next, maybe he cannot stand up anymore and might experience his first loss. That's why I'm saying that maybe he already learn from his mistake and prevent that from happening again.

Well Garcia was really exposed on that fight, but I would say that Campbell has power and good fundamentals thats why he was able to get that left hook during their exchanges and knock down Garcia unexpectedly. I wouldn't say though that it was a weakness, maybe he was really caught off guard. And every boxer caught like that with that one big shot will likely go down. But if he will have to face a boxer with power like Kambosos Jr and Tank Davis, he better not to get hit like that otherwise he will sure be getting into the canvass again.

That's a solid punch after being careless with his movement, and like what you said, if that kind of punch will hit him against those known strong and solid fighter he might not have a chance to stand up and probably he will be KO. He needs to be more careful and practice his fundamentals, he's still young and he have a big room to improve his fighting capabilities.

He will be tested on this fight against Fortuna and he needs to show more defense not to expose himself again and avoid being
too much aggressive when attacking or throwing his punches.

^ Maybe that's a mistake on Fortuna side to bad mouth Garcia using his "mental" state issues. Fortuna claim that Garcia duck him in their first fight and hide on the reason of that.

Quote
“He’s talking a lot of trash to me, saying that I made an excuse with my mental health, that it wasn’t real, that I was a coward for it, and I’m a duck, I just want to avoid him. Well, I believe when he’s in that ring with me that he’ll find out real soon that ‘oh, there’s nothing scared about this guy.’”

https://www.badlefthook.com/2022/6/23/23179821/ryan-garcia-warns-javier-fortuna-not-quit-next-fight-dazn-boxing-news-2022

So this might be something personal for Garcia now that Fortuna touch a sensitive topic about Garcia and then make fun of it.
